The nurse knocked hesitantly on the door before entering. She peeked her head and looked into the room, apologizing if she interrupted something. Quickly, she walked over to Kuro's stretcher and set the flowers and picture on the bedside table, explaining that is was from a woman named Am. With that, she apologized one more time before leaving the room.
"....But there has to be something I could do to help Kuro...." Amnity looked back over to Mephlius, feeling completely helpless and worthless. "How far can a zealot's prayers go?....I want to do so much more then just pray."

"Oh, could you send her in." Kuro said before she left. He laid back down in his bed taking in all the rest he could.

"Well, at this point, I'm not even sure that he needs our help. The surgery is probably over by now. And even if not, unless you have a degree in medicine you're not telling me about, we may just have to wait this one out."

Before Amnity could reply, the nurse confronted her again, telling them that they could come in to see Kuro now. She didn't even give a second thought, she rushed to his room. "Kuro...Hey..." Gently, she opened the door just enough to peak her head in. Tokeru was in the room too, and she hoped that she wasn't interrupting something.

He turned to her slowly as not to twist his back. "Hey," He would have said more, but still felt bad for the things he did under Alasdair`s control. He instead picked up the photo strip and began laughing. "Were you planning on covering me in flowers again?" He said noting the flowers next to his bed.

Mephlius followed after her, but didn't run. He walked casually, with his hands in his pockets. Told you he'd be fine... He stuck his head into the room, and smiled at Kuro. "Hey, man. It's nice to have you back, man..."

Mephlius opened the door completely, instead of just leaving it cracked, and headed in. He stood by Kuro's bedside, but left the chair for Amnity. He smiled at Kuro. "So, I know this is probably the last thing you wanna talk about, but I'm genuinely curious. What's it like to be mind-controlled?"

Amnity smiled at his witty remark and entered the room. She pulled up the chair next to his stretcher, examining him quickly to see if he was really alright. Her attention turned to the bouquet of flowers that was at his bedside table. Gently, she reached over and to look at the photo strip, snickering as she did. "When I got this, I was pretty sure that Kuro wouldn't apear in the picture...I guess the invisible vampire photo myth isn't true."
