He stands up putting a gloved hand to the back of his head rubbing it as though he had been slugged there, muttering under his breath "Demitri." he paces for abit slowly, thinking. His posture seemed as though he had just been hit by a ton of stones. He stops faced away from her and shakes his head slightly before turning back around "Do you think you will produce one yourself?" He asks her.

"I want to, my father's bloodline is important. With the way things have been going... I am no fool sometimes i canbe tricked but with how things are going i will be lucky to live long enough to see the end of the year." She watched him paceing and smiled he didn't need to get so worked up.

Katherine laughed alittle looking down at her hands. "If things could be so simple i would have already done that." She looked up becomeing more serious. "That looks like something that might not come to pass now anyway. I just want you to agree to regent. To make sure if something does happen you will make sure he grows old enough."

He shook his head "I can't." He says to her truthfully not trying to disrespect her in anyway "If that day comes where you do pass. My job will be over, and in the instance you do pass then myself would be dead." He says "I wouldn't be able to bear with losing someone so close to me." he says to her "I already carry the lifetime of sadness don't let me carry another set of pain and sadness."

She thought about this for a second something Alastor said was replaying in her mind. She tossed it a way knowing thats not what Matachi ment and just a silly thought. Katherine stayed silent then not knowing what to say. Her purple eyes looked down to her hands. Her job was to keep things in order, things in a place. She didn't undertsand this they both knew what would happen in the end.

He looked at for a moment "Why do you worry so much about death?" He asks her before looking down slightly "You've cursed me katherine." he says to her "You worry me everyday, not in a bad sense, the sense of knowing if your okay or not fills my mind. I cannot get you out of my head." He says to her truthfully "You've changed me from who I was to what I am now."

Katherine looked up with a slight smile, "I don't believe we have much of a choice in those matters somtimes." Thats not what she wanted to say she wanted to tell him that she was the same. More about the fear she had felt when she had him brough to his rooms with his wounds. "but I am glad, and you know you can ask anything from me."

He nods to her knowing that he could ask her anything but knew that he shouldn't "Was there anything else you needed from me?" he asks her thinking there was but didn't want to be nosy "Remember you can ask me anything as well" he said almost forgetting to say it.

Katherine watched him for a long moment she didn't want him to go but she couldn't ask him to stay that was not far she knew. She noded some with a smile. "Thank you Matachi, i know." It wasn't what she had wanted to say to but she was so worried about being proper and she was starting to feel foolish. Like she was a small girl all over again.

He smiles and stands "Well I better be off to bed as the same to you" He says walking towards the door. Leaving behind a small peace of parchment right under her pillow, it he had slipped it there while they were talking. It was only for her eyes that she should only, he had written it awhile back but hadn't had the courage first in his life to commit to giving it to her.

Katherine walked with him to the door her thoughts raceing she wanted to find some reason for him to stay. She should have been upset he had not agreed with her about being her regent, but she couldn't be bad at him. What he had said, his reason was more to her than most things had ment. "Goodnight then." Her soft fragile voice spoke watching him with a sweet smile. ((Yes i am about to make her turn around and read it))

Katherine drew a deep breath as she closed her door. She walked to her bed laying down just for a moment before getting ready for bed. She had been more scared in her life that day, yet happier than she had ever been. Thats when her hand felt the piece of paper, she sat up for a moment to open it and read the contents.

The note reads about how he actually feels for her, even though it should not be said or written he did it anyway. This is the side of matachi of which has been hidden for so long from her but now he felt it was time to tell her about how he felt for her. It speaks of truth of how he feels, and it can even be seen in his writing.
