Ace sighed a swear under his breath and slowly stood up from the bench, following Katherine to the shoe store. As he followed, he got out his wallet full of his money and credit cards. He peered a look into his wallet and pulled out all of the money that it held.
Ace counted the money out loud as he caught up to Kathrine.
"Okay, I have $110 dollars, and by the time I'm done shopping with you girls, I should have no less than fifty dollars," he told the two once he had finished counting his money.

"And I have 15 dollars!" Katherine told him while flashing the money in the air. "Sooo, I can at least buy two pairs of shoes." She thought while looking at the prices. After looking for about five minutes she was finally satisfied with her selection.
She had choosen a pair of three inch heels that were a ruby red with a pointed toe, and a pair of purple flips flops with pink flower platterns on it. "All togather it is 35 dollars. Is that good?" She asked him. "I'll pay for most."

"Yeah, I guess that's fine," Ace said and got out half of the money. He handed it to Katherine for her to buy her shoes. Sighing, Ace turned around and observed all of the other shops on the boardwalk as he waited for Katherine and Jessica.

Katherine walked out of the store carrying her shoes in a bag smiling. But the smile soon faded when she saw Ace sigh. "Are you not having fun?" She asked him.

Ace turned to Katherine as she asked him if he was ok.
"I'm having the time of my life," he said in sarcasm, followed by a small laugh.

"Oh I can tell you are." Katherine told him returning the sarcasm. "What do you and your friends usually do for fun then?" She asked him raising a brow in question.

"You know, for that I take back what I said earlier about you being a pervert." Katherine sighed shaking her head. All guys really were the same. "When's the last time you were decent about woman?" She asked him with a laugh.

Katherine playfully hit him in the shoulder with her hand. "You better be. Or girls are going to find out about you and stay away." She told him while shaking her finger at him.

"Yeah, okay, whatever you say Ms. Katherine," Ace said and bowed with a laugh. He stood back up and looked around while putting his hands in his pockets.
"Do you know if there are any casinos around?"

Jessica, glaring at Ace at his comments, was silent, not wishing to speak to Perverted b*****d. Who did he think he was? All he did was pick-up girls in his spare time, and she knew that he wasn't kidding. "What are casinos the best place for picking up hot girls?" Jessica asked annoyed, trying not to his comment about picking up both her and Katherine.

Ace ignored Jessica and instead took a seat on the ground and took out a small deck of playing cards. He shuffled them quickly and the put them back into his pocket. Then he went back to Jessica's question.
"No, I just have a bad gambling craving."

"That's a bit unhealthy. What if you run out of money? Or what if you dont have the means to pay the person back?" Katherine asked Ace, sitting down beside him.
