Anjafey grinned again. "Aww, is wittle Rendo having troubles?" She watched hiim calmly, flicking her tail in amusement. "Seems like you could use help..."

He looked at her irritated. "No, I almost have it were I want it." He thought quickly of some ways to open it, the best was banging his head on it so he started hitting it hard with his paw.

Anjafey chuckled,shaking her head at Rendo. "Yep, Mr. Genius, I can see you're on the verge of a breakthrough with that technique." She felt sorry for him; he was going to be bruised by the time he did eat. Still, it was nice revenge for all the references to her weight.

Giveing up with a sore paw he siad. "Well...only one way left..." He siad calmly as he went and bit into it and a sour taste went on his mouth and his eyes water at hte taste of dirt and liveing things in his mouth and he let go cough out dirt and bugs.

Anjafey laughed silently, as she watched him. He really was amusing, her mate. Finally feeling enough pity, she walked up to the watermelon, Turning around, she kicked it with her hind paw, splitting it open. Shaking watermelon off of her foot, she smirked at Rendo in a self-satisfied way.

Anjafey tilted her head. "You what?" She looked at the pile of insects in disgust. "That's gross."

"Thank you, Kazuki." Maybe being more careful with his poofier fur wasn't worth it, if it meant Kazuki would groom him. That felt so nice...
Shaking his head and blushing a little, Ari brought his mind back to the present.
"The whole tribe can help carry the herbs. There are plenty of caves around the lake, and we can store plants and food in some of those," he suggested. That seemed like a good idea--the things would be in an easy to get to place, out of the elements, and by the lake, which (in Ari's mind, at least) was the central part of the lands. Of course, they were bound to end up with more nomadic foxes at some point, and they should probably look into expanding their lands to accommodate those ones...but later.

"Your welcome Ari." Kazuki smiled softly but quickly turned away blushing. He was enjoying it too much and he had to focus.
"So...um..So whats the plan?" He glanced aroudn at the others. Noticing Rendo and Anjafey have little cute fights. They made him chuckle at time sbut other times he did worry.

"Daddy...why aren't you in bed? It's laaaaate." Sigal had managed to finally find daddy here, with all of these strange foxes. She stared up at them, blinking tiredly. Why were all of them awake? Didn't they know it was past bedtime?
"Because Daddy has important things to do, and he likes to sleep during the day, and be awake at night." It was odd, how much the kit looked like her mother, but how little she acted like Heartbreak.
"But I'm tired daddy, and I want to go to bed, and you said I wasn't supposed to be alone."
Ari picked Sigal up by the scruff of her neck, and placed her on his back. "Then you can sleep up there while daddy does important things."
"'Kay..." the little kit mumbled tiredly.

Kazuki turned when his ears twitched from noise. He saw the small kit and listen. Wait?! Ari had a daughter?! Kazuki blinked a few times. It was obivious confusion was on his face. Was there somethign he didn't know about? He felt something in his chest and took a shaky breath.
"I think..I uhh...Need some fresh air." He was feeling very odd and he didn't like it.

"Are you alright, Kazuki?" Ari asked, worried. Kazuki really didn't look that good...
Wondering if it might be the kit perched on his back, he mouthed 'I'll explain later,' not wanting to try to explain the whole thing when Sigal might hear. He didn't think he could properly explain the insanity that his, for lack of a better term, "forced temporary marriage" to Heartbreak had been. He wasn't even sure if he could properly explain it to Kazuki.
Sigal nestled in daddy's poofy fur, giggling slightly as he talked. That felt funny, being able to feel daddy talking!
But the little kit was very tired, and soon she was asleep on Ari's back.

Smiling at the interactions between Ari and his daughter, it took her a moment to realize what that meant. Daughter?!?! She turned to Kazuki to gage his reaction only to find him quickly departing. Shaking her head slowly, she turned her mind back to her current task.
"Nato, would you like to get started gathering the herbs and food to take to the caves that Ari suggested? It seems that Ari has his hands full," she stated, gestering to the other fox's passenger. "I would really appreciate it" she added, smiling at Nato and giving him puppy eyes.

Anjafey lifted an eyebrow in question. There was something unexpected for you.Anjafey watched Kazuki walk off and sighed to herself. Shaking her head, she turned to Amira. "Here, I'll help you."

"Thank you." Amira motioned for Anjafey to follow her. She then led the way back to the watermelon pile. "Let's see if the boys decide to help out." She said teasingly. "Maybe Rendo will have better luck carrying the watermelons then he had opening one."
