Shallowpaw stumbled out from the apprentice den where she had spent the night. Looking around sleepily, she noticed cats from both clans milling around together, and getting along quite well. She lept down from her hidding place to land on Cloudpelt (?) and jokingly meow,"Shouldn't you be keeping better watch than that?" She lept off him and smiled up, before running off to grab a mouse, the fresh kill pile had prey from both territorys. Shallowpaw grabbed another to bring to Mosspelt, lying down beside her she wispered,"Will Nightpaw be ok?" When Mosspelt nodded, she pelted off, looking for another apprentice to playfight with. After a match with her sister, she went over to Snowystream and begged,"Could we go hunting? Please Snowystream? I haven't been yet..." She trailed off at her mentor's strong gaze.

Nightpaw ate the herb and the seeds, feeling better as the pain lessened. Her ears twitched and she stood, stretching her muscles slowly. Her eyes sparkled and she was standing upright. She slowly started walking around the camp, trying to get use to her muscles being used again. She knew she might gain a couple scars but would be proud of them. She had fought as best as she could during the battle and hadn't stopped even when she had gotten hurt. She walked slowly but proudly.

Rainfoot stirred slightly and opened her eyes. Her pelt was sticky and she felt hot pain in her flank. She tried to lift her head but fell back against the cool moss. She rasped, "Hello? Is anyone around?" RAinfoot's tounge was dry and she coughed. "Can someone bring me water please?" she mewed desperatly.

Mosspelt had left Moonstar with Ebonywhiskers, and was just laying down with Snowystream to eat a mouse when she heard Nightpaw's question,"Lope around the camp for me one time and let me see how your mucules are today, maybe you can." Then hearing Rainfoot, she almost lost her pelt."Nightpaw, get me some water immidiatly and some Catmint and Merigold!" She yowled as she raced over,"Rainfoot, you musn't move yet, I can't let you until you are better healed. Nightpaw is fetching you some water."

Nightpaw quickly gathered some moss and then wet it down by the river. She quickly hurried back and brought it to Rainfoot, putting it in front of her. Nightpaw sat, breathing heavily, while looking at Rainfoot.

Nightpaw got back up and went to go fetch the herbs also. She walked outside of camp and quickly started searching for catmint and marigold. She found it and brought it back and then put it in front of Mosspelt. She then lay down, tired.

Mosspelt looked thankfully at Nightpaw, before beginning to treat Rainfoot's wounds once again."What hurts the most Rainfoot? If it is terribly bad, I have a few poppy seeds left that I could give you. Nightpaw, once you catch your breath, could you look over in Moonheart's den for some poppyseeds? You know what they look like." Settling down, Mosspelt began to tell Rainfoot of what had passed since she had drifted into uncouncesness."... And Skyheart, probobly Skystar by now, is at Moonpool. Waterclan will be glad to help Moonclan as long as they wish it."

Nightpaw took a deep breathe and then got up and went into Moonheart's den. She looked around and spotted the poppy seeds and quickly gathered them. She brought them back to Mosspelt, and sat down again.

Rainfoot lapped at the wet moss gratefully. Her thirst quenched, she looked up at Mosspelt. "My flank feels as though it's burning!" she winced. "But, I think the rest of me is fine." Great Starclan! I've missed so much! She thought. "How long ago did Skyheart leave?" she mewed. "Will he be back soon?" She desperatly needed his comforting lick, his pelt next to hers.
