Aranea let out a soft noise; a little moan of pleasure as the claw moved along her skin, making her belly tighten a little as the touch teased the nerve endings there. 'Feles,' she began again, trying to form coherent words. 'What if..' her eyelids fluttered as the claw continued to move on her stomach. '...we were to add the Moon Court ourselves? Our bloodline...children.' she whispered.

Children? Feles blinked, looking to Aranea in confusion as he tried to process this idea. "You wish to have children?" he asked, making certain he was hearing her correctly. The cat wasnt' sure about this... he rather liked this peaceful quiet, and last he knew, babies were small, annoying and LOUD. Still, he'd rather die than deny her anything she wanted.
He rested his chin on her shoulder, staring towards the fire for a moment. Well, it wasn't as though they'd taken any precautions in their 'merriment' to warm the evenings. It was possible that the reason she was saying this now was because she already knew something he didn't. If that was the case, there was really no point in objecting... the deed was already done.
"I think that would be a good thing," he began, choosing his words carefully. "The Moon Court needs more children... and I believe we're the only ones capable of providing them at the moment, unless Lupinus has suddenly aquired someone to catch his eye. Feles had yet to meet the reclusive Corvus, so couldn't offer an opinion on that one's willingness in anything.

Aranea frowned a little at his tone..but she knew he liked his solitude, and she had sprung it upon him suddenly; 'I'm not with child yet you know,' she commented, as though reading his thoughts at that moment. 'I know of herbs...but I wanted...,' she sat up then and turned around to look at him. 'Yes the Moon Court needs more children,' she lowered her head. It was true of course, and that was her real reasoning behind wanted to procreate wasnt it? It couldnt be for other sentimental reasons like wanting to bear the children of the one she loved.

Feles slid behind Aranea, letting his legs stretch against the rug as his arms wrapped around her middle. As he kissed along the back of her neck, his hands came to rest on her stomach, pressing lightly against the taut skin. "No herbs," he murmured, lips moving against her skin as he smiled. "And when we have children, I'll beg of the moon that they're just as beautiful as you."
It wasn't TOO bad, really. After all, the children would be raised properly from the start, and he'd make certain they weren't little terrors. "Just pardon me if I lavish attention over you from head to toe beforehand, because I'll likely be frightened to death of hurting you when you're with child."

A smile of joy touched her mouth...not something anyone but Feles would ever see as an expression. She leaned into his kisses, reaching behind to run fingers through his silken hair. 'I love you my Feles,' she said, voice radiating the smugness that being with him, and knowing that she would bear his children bought her. 'You may lavish all the attention you please on me...but first there is another type of attention I require.' Aranea's voice was husky now, hoping he got what she was alluding towards.

The purr started up almost immediately, Feles tightening his hold as he moved to slide around to her side. "Oh? And just what kind of attention might that be?" Clawed fingers trailed gently through Aranea's hair as he leaned in for a searing kiss, pressing her to lay back against the furs as he demonstrated to her exactly what kind of attention HE was hungry for.

Aranea had wandered outside, as the day had dawned warmer then any before. The air still held a chill though and she tightened her cloak around herself. She found herself now at the water's edge, looking out, watching the ripples, the pale sunlight glinting off it, and listened to the sound of the water lapping against the bank. She still couldnt quite get her head around the fact that at this moment she could well be carrying life...a hand ran over her front over the cloak, her belly was flat right now, and she tried to imagine it rounded, full of the fruit from Feles and her pleasures. That had been surprising though, she had thought that he would have needed more persuading, or have to be talked into the idea of them having children, but he had been fairly open to it. She was glad in a way. Feles was the one person she didnt want to have to threaten, to bend to her will to get what she wanted. She smiled, two hands now on her belly. Had someone told her months ago that she would make a good mother...well she would have most likely either slashed them with her nails, or worked out a way to knock them out and experiment on them. But here she was; hopeful, and hopefully pregnant. She actually smiled at her reflection before shivering and leaving the water's edge. Right now all she wanted though was warmth...and she knew exactly where to locate that. She started back towards Feles's chamber, one hand still on her belly...

Aranea slid out of Feles's bed, passing a hand across her moist forehead. She did not feel good, well her stomach didnt anyways and she shivered, going over to get a drink from the water jug - but it was empty. Feles was scarce, out doing something or other, he seemed to be quite purposeful lately, and she missed him. She smacked her lips, dry mouth and she was feeling sick..such a fine start to the day. She pulled on her cloak, securing it at her neck before grabbing the jug, intending to fill it at the lake. Her teeth chattered, for the air was fresh, and was seeping under cloak. As she stepped outside, she felt her stomach lurch, and she dropped the jug, which rolled into the base of a bush before hurrying behind one and dropping to her knees, retching as her stomach emptied itself. She knelt back, and scraped litter over the mess before getting shakily to her feet. Retreiving the jug, she moved on faltering steps to the water's edge, kneeling by it and scooping up a handful of the icy water, rinsing her mouth out and trying to revive herself. Aranea's stomach pained her again, and she held a hand to it, but nothing further happened this time. 'Intolerable..' she grimaced, filling the jug. She was shivering ceaselessly now, and she got off the damp ground, hurrying as fast as the now full jug would allow, her mind going over what could be wrong. She would take something with mint in it, and hoped that helped for now. If it continued then she would have to investigate further as to what could be wrong with her. Before she re-entered the Castellum, she had to pause, retching again. She felt damn miserable, and shuffled off towards Feles's chambers, hoping that she was done for now.

Youkochylde "Damnit..." Feles growled again, slamming a hand down on his desk as he pored over the ancient texts once more. There should have been SOMETHING here to give him leads towards at least one task he had. Thusfar, however, he'd come up with nothing and even MORE nothing, in regards to each. Perhaps the Sun Court scholar had come up with something more, or had information for him. As it stood, his luck was being horrid as he tried to find clues to Cervus' transformation, or to the strange creatures in the forest. No one had apparently written down any information on anything like this happen in the past. More than once, he'd wanted to give up. But this was not an option. He HAD to find more... Sayuri_Nitta Aranea walked, slammed the door. There he was; her gaoler, the one who had put her in this hellish prison of heaving her stomach up every single morning. And he was just working away... she slammed the water jug down on a table, running a hand over her stomach. Bloody seed within...damn her emotional side! Worse then the sickness though were the cravings. And she didnt know what she wanted to eat because things were making her so sick. She reclined on the bed, a little, waiting for him to turn around whilst sending dagger-looks at the back of his head. Youkochylde As if they were little miniature mood indicators, Feles' ears gradually started to drop, even as he continued to examine the texts. By the time he finally lifted his head, his ears were pinned flat against his hair... as if making sure they wouldn't get hit. "Is there a particular reason that you're wishing my death?" he asked, staring straight ahead towards the wall for a moment before finally turning and draping an arm over the back of the chair as he looked to her with a scowl. Sayuri_Nitta Aranea snatched a pillow up, her nail scything into the material as she clenched it hard. She flung it at him; 'You..your seed!' she shrieked, her voice shrill to her ears. She hated the way she sounded but her moods...were uncontrollable these days. 'It's making me sick, sick to my stomach,' she drooped, swallowing thickly, a hand on her belly again. Then she found herself crying, great heaving sobs that welled up from within like a natural geyser. And she didnt know why she was doing that either. Youkochylde "And yours," he reminded, sighing as he left the books behind and got to his feet. Well, he was either going to help, or get killed for this. Padding to the bed, Feles moved to curl up alongside Aranea, trying to wrap his arms around her to hold her gently. "I believe we're both to blame for this. Can you think of anything that might help the sickness?" She was the potion crafter, after all. And perhaps, if he could get her to focus her mind on something, it would help take her mind off of the fact that her body seemed to be betraying her at every turn. Sayuri_Nitta Aranea flinched, recoiling a little from his touch, then hated herself for doing so. 'If I could concentrate you don't think I would have made something?' she hissed, clawing at the bed some more. 'Nothing works, and worse is that I want to eat...something and I dont know what it is.' she gritted her teeth. 'I'm having a demon child...' she whimpered. 'Am I being punished? Is this even normal?' she slid away from him a little, his scent was either making her nauseous or appealing to that craving she had, and she couldnt sort out which. Youkochylde "I don't believe you're being punished," he began, scooting back towards her and nuzzling the nape of her neck. Anyone who doesn't understand the concept of 'oblivious persistance' has never tried to shove a cat off their lap when they're being snuggly. "But I have no idea if this is normal or not. I've never been around anyone with child before." My child, his mind supplied, and he felt a little thrill at the thought. Maybe he WAS starting to get used to this idea. "Is there anything written down anywhere?" he asked, sliding an arm around Aranea's waist to rest a hand on her stomach. "I can find it and make the potion for you." Sayuri_Nitta 'I don't know,' she held her breath as he tried to curl into her. Aranea dropped her head, hair falling around her face in a curtain. 'I hate this..I can't think clearly, I don't remember what my food looks like because I only remember what it looks like on the way back out,' her stomach lurched at this thought and she had to pause a moment. 'I've slept in the last few weeks more then you do,' she huffed. 'And I'm on your bed whining like some Sun Court woman, and if this is pregnancy then I have months to go,' she turned. 'I'll be fat...and you'll run off with another woman.' Youkochylde Feles fought the urge to laugh at that. Somehow, his survival instinct had kicked in long enough for him to control that particular reaction. Laughing at a woman was NEVER a good idea. Laughing at a pregnant woman would, more than likely, ensure there were never future generations from the cat. Ever. Feles slid around from behind her, crawling to lay in front of her with his hands resting at either hip. "I will not run off with another woman," he murmured, leaning in first to kiss the centre of the hourglass mark on her stomach... then slid up to leave a soft kiss on her lips, if she'd allow it. "There is no other woman that could ever compare to you. There is also a far cry between being fat and being pregnant. You are not, and likely never WILL be fat." Sayuri_Nitta 'Mioaw..' she breathed softly, showing a trace of good humour for the first time since she entered his room. Aranea hovered her hand over his head, running it between ears, through his hair as he moved up to kiss her lips. At his words though her mood shifted again and tears ran down her cheeks. 'Sorry,' she managed, turning into the drip again. 'I don't know why this keeps happening,' she gestured helplessly with a free hand, the one still in his hair moving to rest on his shoulder. 'Anyone sees me like this,' she sniffed, wiping her eyes. 'And I won't be able to scare anyone again!' Youkochylde "You still intimidate the hell out of me," he murmured, smirking faintly as he curled up on the bed and watched her with a gentle gaze. One hand reached up to brush through Aranea's hair as he rested his head on the pillow. "I love you..." he murmured, even though the words still sounded foreign to him. He knew they were true... it was just that he'd never really had anything to compare love to before. "And no matter what happens through this, I'll still love you." Sayuri_Nitta 'I do?' Aranea scared him? 'Why?' she asked, ignoring the hand in her hair, his words of love. The nausea her pregnancy caused was nothing to the discomfort she felt at his declaring that she 'intimidated him'...everyone else yes, that was what she wanted. But never, not never Feles. Youkochylde Nuzzling against her, Feles sighed. "I don't know. I just... I want to see you happy. And I've seen your anger directed at others, and never want it to be directed at me." He glanced to her then, frowning faintly. "Nox scares the hell out of me. It's different with you... I'm not afraid of you, but I don't want to give you any reason to leave." Sayuri_Nitta 'My poor Feles,' she pulled him to her properly, speaking her words in between nuzzles, and planting of kisses. 'You make me happy..you are my only happiness. The pregnancy...its a thing I have to control,' she frowned a little. 'But it is what I wanted,' Aranea stroked his ears, pushing the velvety softness of them down under her palm. 'And I'm not going anywhere,' she said. 'You get to be with me through this whole thing,' she smiled wickedly, her old self showing a little. 'I love you that much.' Youkochylde "I believe I should be frightened now," he chuckled, winding around her lithe form and nuzzling her throat. "Because from what I hear of pregnancy mood swings, I'm going to get the brunt of this." Still... he'd be more than willing to run to the kitchen for her in the wee hours of the morning. After all, this WAS half his doing as well... and since he was graced with not having to carry the child, he could at least help HER with the ordeal. Sayuri_Nitta 'If the last week has been any indication, then yes,' Aranea buried her face in his long, soft hair. 'Maybe frightened is a good state to be in.' her nails lightly grazed his back, as she twirled them in meaningless patterns. She pulled her face from his hair again as the thought occurred. 'Nox...Majestrix Nox..what if she is displeased with me, us, for this?' her face paled a little. Youkochylde Feles reached up then, cupping Aranea's cheek and making her look towards him. "She will not be displeased with us," he murmured, beliving that to be implicitly true. "We are helping the Moon Court by bringing life into this castle, and regardless of the timing of the issue, even she will see that this is a good thing. Don't worry yourself over this, alright?" Sayuri_Nitta 'Okay,' she murmured back, outwardly mollified but inwardly she would continue to fret until speaking to their Majestrix. 'A child,' she whispered, laying back on the bed, her eyes closing a litte as fatigue swept her once more. 'Are we ready?' she asked, looking at Feles under heavy lids. Youkochylde "No," he answered, smiling as he reached to let his claws trace lightly over her brow. The motion was designed to soothe her, and perhaps lull her into the sleep she seemed to desperately need. "But by the time the child is born, I hope we will be." After all, they had time to get ready for this... it wasn't like the baby was going to spring from Aranea's loins the next day or anything. While he had little hope that they were ready for the addition at the moment, he knew that with time, they'd be ready. Sayuri_Nitta 'Always know what to say..' she mumbled, words barely audible as her eyes slid shut. Aranea only let her guard down in one place, here, and she lay for once in gentle repose. She stirred a little; 'Love you Feles..' she managed, shifting a little, a hand reaching and grazing his side before she settled again, breathing even. Youkochylde "Love you too," he whispered, leaning in and kissing her forehead gently. The cat settled down beside her then, curling around her almost protectively. The research could wait... he was needed here right now.

Aranea rolled out of the bed, feet hitting the cold stone. She grabbed her cloak, leaving Feles' chamber, moving swiftly, pulled by her cravings. She bit her lip hard as she walked, the coppery taste of her blood comforting to her right now. She hadnt even told Feles about this; her strange craving that the child within had given her. She arrived at the kitchen, looking in the larder, searching out the stored meat within. She found a large piece, wrapped in waxen paper, and she unwrapped it swiftly. The smell wafted up, the raw meat smell, blood and flesh and her stomach growled, wanting it inside her. She lit the stove, found a flat cooking pan and stuck it on the heat, finding some cooking oil and slapping the whole hunk of meat into the pan. She let it cook for a mere few minutes, just letting it get warm before turning the flame off again and grabbing the meat in two hands, juggling its warmth between her long nailed fingers as she bit into it, sinking to the floor as she gnawed on the warmed flesh. She devoured it swiftly, wiping her mouth, then licking each finger delicately, cleaning off any meat or juice that clung to her skin. She felt satiated, satisfied and sat in the floor, one hand on her belly that was just beginning to show. She felt almost as she did when Feles gave her pleasure between the sheets, and a smile touched her lips. The baby's needs were overwhelming it would seem, and she almost dozed off there on the floor. She came to her senses and got to her feet, leaving again quickly, not wanting anyone to know she had been there.

Aranea stood in her own chambers, curtains wide open to catch the weak spring sunshine that had begun to heat the lands, slowly, as the seasons turned again. In the light she stood, turning, looking at her reflection. Two hands cupped her slightly swollen breasts, then left them, running downwards over the swelling of her stomach, pressing into the skin as if trying to feel the new life within. 'Fat..' she grumbled, turning and looking at her bottom, which she was sure had also gained some inches. 'Why did I want this child again,' she muttered to herself, turning again and looking at herself some more. 'My figure will be ruined, and Feles will leave me for one of those younger skinny teenagers that are in the Court.' She was probably sounding insane right now, but reason had fled the spider Fey, leaving nothing but mood swings and a fierce craving for protein rich food...namely almost rare meat. She scraped a long nail down the mirror surface, getting angrier at her fuller looking figure. She cast around, then snatched up a chair, smashing it bodily into the mirror, the glass cracking and falling to the floor. She dropped the chair, letting it smash on the stone floor and left her room, not giving another thought to the mess she had caused.

Seeking the Healer Sayuri_Nitta Aranea looked at a hand, squeezing the finger that had gotten cut earlier when she had smashed her mirror in a fit of pique about her growing figure. A crimson dot appeared and she sucked it, looking around the kitchen thoughtfully. She took the finger from her mouth, sighing as she poured water from a jug. She needed to find the healer that Nox spoke of, but so far she had been unsuccessful. She had even forced herself to leave Feles's chamber more and more, in an effort to bump into the healer Fey. Inle-roo The long winter had forced Mephiti indoors, away from the foliage she was trying to learn all the properties of, but she had found that the tomes in the library provided almost as much information as her field studies. The season had not been spent idly, as the stacks of books hiding in her chambers could attest to--a stack she was currently adding to, as was obvious by the half-dozen books she was struggling to carry back to her room. Normally she didn't take so many, as they were large and heavy, but she didn't want to interrupt her studies to make another trip. Mephiti's eagerness to learn would prove her downfall, as she tripped with an alarmed squeak over an upraised stone. Her burden put her off-balance and the two topmost books fell out of her arms to clatter noisily to the floor. Her small, furry ears pinned back at the noise as she staggered to a halt. She sighed as she knelt to place the rest of the books down in order to see if there was any damage to the two she dropped, wiggling her sore toes. Sayuri_Nitta Aranea had left the kitchen again after eating something else. She had started to get cold and needed to move around, so had decided to head for the library in the hopes that the Healer would either be there, or maybe even Feles. Her head jerked upwards and she gathered her cloak around her, hurrying towards the sound. 'Was that you I heard?' she asked, having come across the Fey finally, watching her gather up her escaped books. Inle-roo Mephiti started at the sound of an unknown voice, instinctively turning towards it--unfortunately, her legs got tangled within each other and the fallen books as she did so, and after a moment of wobbling, she fell onto her tail with a startled and most undignified squeak. "Ow," she whined, frowning and rubbing the offended appendage. After a moment she remembered that she wasn't alone in the hallway and let her tail fall away, an embarassed blush rising to her cheeks. "Oh, um, yes," she started, looking up abashedly at the older fey, "sorry. I'm a little, um, clumsy. I didn't disturb you, did I? I'm sorry if I did, I'm just--well..." Though she was hardly the most eloquent of her race even at the best of times, her inherent shyness tangled her tongue further. She gave a nervous chuckle and began gathering her books once more. Sayuri_Nitta Aranea arched a graceful brow at the clumsiness of this Fey. 'You did not, for I was doing nothing but looking for our Court Healer.' she doubted that this teenager would know where the Healer was, but she asked anyway, watching as the Fey gathered her books up, not offering to help...not because of her condition, but because it wasnt something she did. 'Do you know where Mephiti..I think that's the Healer's name,' she thought back to the short and painful conversation with the Majestrix. 'Yes, Mephiti. Do you know of her, and where she would be?' Inle-roo Mephiti's furred ears perked at the sound of her name, and she paused in her collection for a moment, head tilting to the side as she shot a smile up at the spider. "That would be me--are you ill?" Why else would one seek a healer? Her eyes immediately scanned the form in front of her, looking for any visible signs of illness. Hmm...the older fey looked pale, but then again so did most of the residents of the Moon Court. Sayuri_Nitta This clumsy being..this girl was the Healer that Nox had been so adamant she see? Aranea rolled her eyes a little, counting to ten in her head before answering; 'I am not ill, I am with child. I was told by our Majestrix that I should see you. But you are barely out of childhood yourself, so I wonder,' she tapped her chin with a long black fingernail. 'What help will you truly be?' Inle-roo "Not much, I'm afraid," Mephiti replied with a blush and an abashed duck of her head. "Although some of the books I've read mention pregnancy and the dealing with thereof, I've never had the chance to put any of that information into practice. I can certainly try, though!" Not words any patient should want to hear from a healer, one would imagine, no matter how good-natured or eager they might sound. Sayuri_Nitta Aranea went paler then even her skin tone allowed for. 'You..you can try?' her voice hit the high notes, the surging hormones from the pregnancy causing her mood to escalate from calm to hysteria in a split second. 'This is my baby we are talking about...if you are my only choice,' she levelled a finger at Mephiti. 'Then you will sweat blood to make sure it and I are healthy - and stay that way.' Inle-roo Mephiti ducked behind her now-organized pile of books with an alarmed "eep!" bushy tail coming around as if she meant to hide behind it. "Y-y-yes Ma'am!" she squeaked. "Um, w-won't you accompany me to my chambers? My notes are there, I could likely give you something to alleviate the, um...mood swings, and likely any other symptoms," she suggested meekly. She also wanted to be able to make some notes, and she could hardly do so while cowering in the hallway. Sayuri_Nitta 'I suppose that would be wiser then standing around in this hallway,' Aranea said, lowering the hand again. 'If you can help me at all,' her mood had levelled off again. 'Then I would be..grateful.' she looked at the book pile. 'You got all those? We can go to your chambers now then.' Inle-roo "I'll most certainly try," she assured the spider Fey before uncurling from her cower and hefting both herself and her healthy stack of books up. "It isn't far," she said, wobbling her way down the hall, trusting her patient to follow her--it really wasn't, as Mephiti stopped a few twists and turns later in front of a door. After fumbling with the knob for a moment she stumbled her way inside with a, "Please, do come in!" The room smelled faintly of a myriad of sweet herbs, and Mephiti took a calming breath before dropping the books on a table liberally littered with books and papers. "Feel free to have a seat!" she called, moving further into the room. Sayuri_Nitta Aranea had swept behind Mephiti, her cloak flaring out as she walked. She cast a glance around the room, inhaling the perfumed air. Aranea seated herself, a hand rested on her belly, two on the chair's arms, and the remaining one toyed with a length of her hair. 'Where have you been hiding away? As our healer you should be easier to find.' she said in a reproachful tone. Inle-roo "Oh, I do apologize!" Mephiti exclaimed, coming back to the table with a stack of blank looseleaf paper and a pen--so much neater than ink and feathers, she made a mental note to ask her kithain to bring more--and settling in a chair near the pregnant fey. "When the weather was warm I spent my time outside, studying the local plants to see what, if any, medicinal qualities they had; since the weather turned I've been studying the books in the library to further my knowledge. I don't get out much otherwise," she admitted ruefully, scratching behind an ear with the pen before turning a smile back on the spider. "Oh, I didn't catch your name. You are...?" Sayuri_Nitta At least the Fey hadnt been wasting the time that she had been secreted away, Aranea grudgingly admitted to herself. Now she had no more reason to b***h Mephiti out..not that these days she required much of a reason to do that. 'I am Aranea,' she spoke quietly, the hand on her belly patting the growing bump. 'I was..ordered,' she said the word distastefully. 'By our Majestrix to seek you out. I would have sorted this out myself. I am an alchemist.' she sighed. 'But my reason has been robbed by this..child and pregnancy is beyond my knowledge.' Inle-roo Mephiti smiled in relief as it seemed that Aranea had calmed down a bit--she was nervous enough about treating the unknown without having her patient yell at her. "Alchemy...fascinating!" She took down a few notes before turning her grin up at Aranea. "Hormonal imbalance is one of the ills of pregnancy, I've read. I'm sure once the child is born things will even out again. How far along are you, by the way? When did you first start experiencing any out-of-the-ordinary symptoms?" Sayuri_Nitta 'Its been a couple of months now - 3 or 4? I don't know exactly,' Aranea frowned, bringing a hand up and examining the nails of it. She dropped it again, letting it rest once more on her belly. 'I've stopped having the sickness now..' she said, not adding thankfully, but she was. 'How long am I going to be like this..?' she gestured helplessly with a hand. 'Weepy, and angry, and feeling muddled. I hate it,' she grouched. 'And the cravings..' she mumbled, ashamed of all the secretive eating she had done. Inle-roo "Well, a human's gestation period is nine months long; given a Fey's rate of growth, I'd bet yours will be considerably shorter." This was all mere speculation--the books had gone into short detail regarding symptoms and the corresponding treatments, but the timelines given were rather vague. A possible reason for that, Mephiti thought, was that the duration of pregnancy varied among their kind--that would hardly reassure her patient, however. "Moodiness, cravings...you mentioned the illness passing. Are there any other symptoms? Any swelling other than--well, the obvious?" The healer's eyes were torn between her notes and her patient, and she felt a peaceful thrill; this was what she was meant to do, she knew, even if Aranea was her first patient. She probably shouldn't mention that. Sayuri_Nitta 'Shorter? I do not know if that is a good or bad thing.' Aranea tapped her belly with her fingernails. On one hand it would mean she would look like a great big lump for less time..on the other, it meant she would have to face labour that much sooner. 'Besides my breasts, and my behind? I hope there wont be anymore swelling.' she grumped. 'I am fat enough as it is.' The loss of her figure still grated on her..this child better be worth all her sacrifices! 'You can't tell me how much longer I have then?' she asked, crimson eyes fixed on Mephiti. Inle-roo "You aren't fat, you're pregnant. And in a few more months or so, most likely, you'll be neither once more," Mephiti reassured Aranea with a gentle smile. "I don't know for sure, but I'd say by the end of summer at the absolute latest--that's with a few-month cushion, but better safe than sorry!" Sayuri_Nitta Silly girl trying to mollify her. Only Feles could do that..and she was no Feles. The fingernails of one hand tapped irritably on the armrest of the chair as she regarded Mephiti. 'So you have no idea how much longer I will be a prisoner to my own body?' Her unpredictable temper was beginning to flare again, colour touching her cheeks and her nails scored lines in the wood of the chair. Inle-roo "Well, no, I can't give you an exact date," Mephiti replied after a moment's hesitation, tail giving a nervous twitch. "It's, um, likely best not to worry about it--it will happen when it happens, and I don't think unnecessary stress is healthy for either of you at the moment." Sayuri_Nitta Aranea pulled herself up from the chair. 'It's cold and uncomfortable here,' she complained. She wasnt really that uncomfortable, but she was getting close to feeling like she wanted to strangle someone, and given that Mephiti was their only healer it was best for her to depart. 'If you could find something that will help with my mood swings and the breast tenderness I would be appreciative.' she said, flexing the fingers of two hands a little. Yes..definately time to go. Inle-roo "I'm sorry," Mephiti replied automatically, rising from her chair--it didn't feel cold, she realized; perhaps this was a symptom of pregnancy? She'd have to look into it. She had reason to now, certainly. "If you'll wait here a moment," she said, retreating towards a wooden cabinet. The skunk opened it, rummaging through it for a moment before producing a small jar, an envelope, and a tea ball. These she brought back to Aranea, holding them out to her. "This," she started, holding up the jar, "is typically used for muscle soreness, but it should work for aches and tenderness as well. You won't need to apply much, and it's safe to use throughout the day. And you should steep a few pinches of this," here she held up the envelope and tea ball, "in a cup of hot water for a few minutes each morning. By itself it's a little bitter, but feel free to add sugar. Is there anything else you need?" Sayuri_Nitta (( sorry for the delay ><; )) Aranea was pleased to see there were some things this young girl knew. It didnt appease her irritation by much, but it was enough for her to be thankful for the help she had offered and given. 'Thank you,' she said stiffly, easily holding onto all three items. 'Your help is appreciated. I presume I can call on you again if I need to?' She also wanted the healer to be present for the birth...for her healing skills, but wasnt sure if the teenage Fey would be able to handle it.

She crouched, low to the ground, hair unruly, eyes deep and chilling to see. Nearer she crept, breath held, searching for the trap she had laid down the night before. There...she had poor trapping skills, but had managed to cage herself a small rabbit..its eyes pleading dark pools, fur tugged at by the breeze as it huddled against the lashed together wood pieces that made up the cage. It gave a heart rending scream as she grabbed it swiftly with one hand, and stabbed it with another. Aranea reeled at the blood smell, the copper filling her nostrils, stomach growling at her. The carcass was stashed into a sack, blade wiped on the grass and she hurried home again, back to the Castle. The creature was skinned, the fresh meat pulled from the bones and she cooked it sparingly, the juices running from it as she ate the cooling meat swiftly. Hunger satiated finally, she cleaned up the kitchen, aiming to leave not a trace behind of that which she had done..and padded to Feles's chamber. He was not yet returned, and she sunk onto the bed, eyes sliding shut, and rested, her tongue licking out occasionally at the blood drying on her lips. Her hand rested on her swollen belly, and she dozed, waiting for his return.

The cat moved through the halls, arms balancing the load he carried. Yet another trip to the laboratory... this time to bring up a few books and Aranea's potion supplies. The mortar and pestle was the hardest to move, being hte heaviest, and he found himself with an amusing time of trying to get the door open. Still, he managed, and carried the supplies in, setting them carefully on the long desk that he'd cleared off for her. "I believe I got..." he began, then turned to see Aranea dozing on his bed. Dropping his voice to a soft whisper, he finished his sentence. "...everything."
He padded towards the bed then, not needing to attempt silence... as a cat, it came naturally to him. Curling onto the bed beside her, Feles reached with one hand and brushed Aranea's hair back form her face gently. The motion followed the silver strands down over her shoulder, then towards her swelling stomach, where the tips rested. His hand lingered there, palm laying against the smooth skin and wondering at the small kick he received for his troubles.

Aranea reached up with a hand to swat at whatever was tickling her face, eyes not opened yet. She missed hitting Feles's hand as it had already moved on again, and she blinked, opening her eyes fully, looking at his hand on her belly. 'Uhh..' did she dream that? 'It kicked.' she managed, looking at the bump as if it was going to explode. 'Its not kicked before..' she looked at Feles, wondering what he'd done to make it do that.
