Archaedus surveyed the stranger. "Pleased to make your aquaintance. I am Archaedus. May I ask your name, and perhaps why you are in this place?" He said simply.

"Hello. My name is Kent. And I just followed quite a quantity of earth prints that came to here. I was hoping to get out of this blasted rain. Good and bad are too absolute. Perception is the key."

Star stood beside them, not saying a word. She had finally lowered her blades, but did not put them entirely away. She wanted to be ready for anything.

"True, in a sense. But in war times, perception sometimes fails us, and it may become neccesary to resort to absolutes."

"Absolutes are too tricky. Nothing is absolute, except death. Every person will do good acts and bad acts, whether intentional or not. Someone might accidently save the life of a psychotic madman who goes to kill other people. But you can't just let him die. And what side are you supposedly on and who are you fighting. If it is a worthwhile cause, I might join if you let me stay in this building for a while.

"I fight the malissimusts. I suppose most would consider that the good side, but as you said, good and bad are often relative, for to my enemies I am the bad side. So, I shall leave it at this. I fight for Lestaunia, I fight the powers trying to destroy, conquer, and control my home." Archaedus stated, especially wary now that he had completely given away his position and Kent could very well be a spy for the malissimusts. His hands were rigid at his side, ready to defend if need be. He did note, however, that Kent seemed to at least know there was a buliding behind them, whether he could see it or not.

Nevaria hid away in the trees. At first her distress at loosing her former prey was nearly unbearable, but upon seeing three now gathered outside she began to feel that thrill, and, crouching out of sight, readied her weapon.

Star titled her head to the gentle sound of a weapon. A sword maybe. She showed no sign of her knowing someone was there. "I hate to break up this wonderful discussion, but someone has just readied their weapon. The person is in the trees." she said ina soft and matter-of-fact tone.

Kent held his hands up. "If there is going to be a fight, I'm afraid I'm going to have to stay out of it. I'm physically and magically bummed out today and I would rather not die of exhaustion. Actually, I would perfer to not die at all so I'm going to stand over there in case the person decides to start sniping you." He slowly started moving away from the two. He would prefer not to be roasted by a fireball.

Archaedus motioned his hand to the trees, out of his hand shot a wave of energy and Nevaria came out, seemingly bound by an invisible force. "Hello, stranger. I apologize for taking seemingly extreme measures by binding you, but in my defense you were suspiciously hiding out of sight."

Nevaria watched as the three looked toward the trees and one of the men backed away. "Oh no." She tried to charge but was bound by some force and dragged out of the trees. She knew it was useless to fight them and instead tried to shoot fire at the man who bound her.

Star shoved Archaedus down just in time, the fire flew over their heads. They stood up right away.

Though she didn't hurt the man, her end was still achieved. Her bonds were broken. She pulled out a sword, and making it an extention of herself, shot more flame at the two. Soon enough though madness began to take over once again and she began burning everything around her.
(is the house able to catch fire?)

((hmmmm, not sure)) Star started battling Nevari, swords clanging and dodging the fire. A few flames caught on her clothes. She had to take a quick moment to put them out, with hard pats. She continued fighting, then Nevari's wildness started. Star's arm caught on fire and she couldn't get it out. It was the hand with the sword, so she tossed it to the other hand. (She's ambidextrious *sp?*.)

Archaedus quickly jumped to his feet, extremely agile for an old man. He had no sword, dagger, or knife, he simply fought using elements...but he could not use water to put out her flames, or time would stop. He raised his hands and a bolt of lightning hit the end of Nevaria's sword, electrifying the whole thing. If she didn't stop throwing flames everywhere, she'd catch the safe house on fire.
((Of course it can catch fire, it's a house...well...a stone house, so it'll be more difficult to burn, but it can.))
