Mie-tanuki He led the other through the basics of cutting hair - layering, common style, that sort of thing - and then said, "Hmm... well, that's the basics. Is there anything in particular you want to learn?" he asked, curious as to what the other wanted. ((oops- i thought i hit submit...guess I didn't sweatdrop )) "No, thanks...Not right now at least- I will have enough trouble remembering everything as it is..." He blushed slightly. "Thank you...for everything...."

Kon shook his head. "No... you helped Kon get un-lost, so Kon wants to help," he said, smiling broadly. "Is there anything else, then, that you would like to do? Kon can teach you more later - it shouldn't be taught all at once, you know?"

She seemed upeset that you were busy with me..."

Kon shook his head. "Rina worries too much about Kon... Kon... isn't very good with people," he said, smiling a little sheepishly. Rina was the only one who knew what Kon was. She had known immidiately - after all, she wasn't exactly human, either. But she had integrated much more successfully with the human world than he had, learning quickly to adapt to the culture.

Ryu smiled gently. "I don't see why- you get along fine in my book." Though, I think Rina feels more for him...It's not only worry...Suddenly, Ryu ffelt increadably jealous of the girl and had a strong urge to punch something.

"Rina worries very easily... She... she looks out for everyone here... but she worries so easily that it hurts her whenever we're not with her... We're like her family because... well, Rina... doesn't have one." It was true. They hadn't died, as Rina knew. She had been taken away from them at a very young age... "She becomes attatched very easily and gets hurts easily, too..."

Ryu now felt bad for Rina- now there was this whole othe side of her he never knew about..a side that explained her strange behaivor. She...she reminds me of myself... He made up his mind that no matter how much she may not want to, he was going to meet her.

"So Rina is kinda like everyone's mother here. Second mother for most of us and regular mother for Kon. If you stay here too long, she might become yours, too," he said with a bit of a grin. "But don't tell her I said that... she's not that old and gets kinda huffy about it when we mention it."
"Who's huffy?!" Rina's voice called from across the salon. She apparently had very good hearing.

Nolas All the while during his check out, he couldn't help but look at this particular boy through the corner of his eye. Did he have no personal space boundries? With his bags hoisted up, he was ready to go, but when he went outside.. it seemed Oliver was following him. Kotoro tried a few more steps away from the store, before glancing over his shoulder at the other. "What are you doing?" he asked, one brow quirking slightly with the question. Oliver was indeed, following Kotoro. He munched quite happily on his peach and looked curiously at the boy when asked the question. What was he doing?
... He was following him. Observing. Watching. And... hiding from that mean, scary lady at the market.
Choosing not to answer the question, he tilted his head and bit into his peach.

That was when he came to his final decision. This boy was definitely weird. His eyes remained on Oliver, unmoving as if he were going to say something else. That is, until he abruptly turned around and crossed the street when the crosswalk light turned green.
Kotoro wanted to know if the strange boy was just playing a game or what. Without turning his gaze over his shoulder, he listened for the footsteps to continue after him.

Without turning his gaze over his shoulder, he listened for the footsteps to continue after him. Oliver raised both brows and was certainly caught by surprise when the other removed himself so suddenly. He finally ditched his peach pit and quickly followed him to the other side of the street. His footsteps made not a sound, though. Given his creature species, there was a sense of stealth in tracking prey. Though Oliver hadn't exactly been aware consciously that Kotoro might've been considered prey. He didn't like the taste of human meat.
"Why do you wear those gloves?" Oliver asked, suddenly caught up right behind Kotoro, his breath almost breathing on the back of the other's neck.

When having heard nothing and not bringing himself to turn around to look, Kotoro believed the other had given up following him. He relaxed a little more, obviously so. Of course, until Oliver was suddenly behind him.
The red-head's entire body tensed -almost jerking to a stop- to keep himself from jumping out of his skin, and he bit his tongue to hold in a gasp. Bad mistake. Now his tongue throbbed and he began to taste a hint of coppery blood. Sucking it back, he wiped the surprised expression from his features before turning to look at the other. "So my fingers don't get cold," he replied, somewhat sarcastically. "Why are you wearing that shirt?"

Oliver was uncertain of how to answer such a question. This shirt... he just had always had it on every time he turned human. Same with the pants... they were just... there.
He licked a sticky finger before fingering his shirt's fabric. It was stretchy and sleek, but decently soft. "Um... because... it fits?" he said, more as a question than a statement. The bottom hem of the shirt was slightly damp, but Oliver paid it no mind.
"Why? Would you rather I take it off?"

Kotoro's eyes wandered down the smaller boy's frame, taking the time to imagine what it would look like without its shirt. Without a cover for that no doubt thin, lean frame and those pale-.. He immediatly jerked his eyes away to stare off at a crumbling, old wall off to the side. If he wasn't careful, he would end up wasting the remainder of his cash at the strip club again.
"Leave it on," he replied, keeping sure not to say it suspiciously too fast. "You're out in public. Clothes are supposed to remain on your body. So you keep your shirt on and I'll keep my gloves on, ok?" Once again, he began to walk down the street.
