Hello, my name is Mitchell and I am new.
I am twenty years old.
I am new to Gaia and have just found out about guilds (this is pretty neat).
I love animals and always have. In my life time I've had a vast amount of animals from dogs, cats, caiman alligations, geckos, frogs, lizards, spiders, snakes, rabbits, birds, fish, turtles, and ferrets. (We'll hope I didn't leave anything out.)
Right now I own two dogs and one ferret.
I have a six year old Chihuahua named Chico. I have a stray that was bone skinny named Paris, she looks to be a pitbull/mix. My Ferret is new (my last one died after six years) and her name is Dweezle.
I am currently in college getting a teaching degree. I intend on being a Highschool History teacher.
I enjoy writing, reading, photography, movies, music, and I love writing poetry.
Hmm, that should be enough. =p

Caimans? Do you live in the Bayou or Everglades? They're all over the place there. Did you keep them until adulthood or let them go when they got too dangerous? Your sig pic seems like it's in a swampy place but it could just be on vacation or something.
Anyway, welcome.

Actually, I do live in Louisiana. The dirtyness of the background is my pool. Uh, cost a lot to keep it clean and no one swims in it. I used to have an alligator snapping turtle in there.
I gave one of the alligators away. The other eventually died sad . I didn't have digicams or stuff back then though.

Hahaha, well if you've got an unused pool I see no reason not to keep animals in it. I'd pick something other than a snapping turtle, but being the crazy millipede chick I'm not one to talk.

Oh, by the way, I have a topic based on the swamp rabbit in my sig and I'm wondering if you've seen one and know more than I do. I can't find much on them besides the one that attacked Jimmy Carter.

That would be sweet to have. As far as the swamp rabbit, I don't know much about them under then people hunt them here some (along with any other rabbit).

Actually after looking closley at that picture. That may be the same rabbit I see at night time all of the time here. I could be mistaken for another brown rabbit, but I used to have one that came to my front yard at night near my swing/tree and ate grass.

So you haven't witnessed any attacking the President? Actually, I was asked if they lived in groups and stuff like that. If you see more than one together let me know.
Catfish are delicious and I'd support keeping them in a swimming pool if it in no way affected their succulent taste.
Millipedes are awesome. There are 6 inch - foot long African ones that I'd love to have. I'm trying to convince my boyfriend that I won't put one on his face while he sleeps so I can have one. He's not believing me razz

Gray Bear Boyfriends! What good are they?! I've never seen any of the rabbits around here in a group. Not that I can recall. In all fairness, it seems like the kind of thing I would do. The only reason I won't is the millipede's well-being razz That and the fact that he's special enough for me not to put bugs on him, but that's a secret. Welcome, Winnie!

Hi everyone,
just joined today, and i like this guild very much. im currently signed up to attend school in september because im interested in becoming a vet tech for live stock vetranarians.the reason why i love animals so much can never be explained, ive always liked them and gotten along with them better then people! and i just cant seem to function unless i have my puppy licking up my nose to wake me up in the mourning or going rollerblading with my other mut shi...its just life and their my best friends. ive been riding horses since i was 5, training them since i was 17 and been driving them (carriages) since i was 18. my best friend a year ago was a goat named Lary and the farm is my first home no matter what. and the best horse ive ever known was a perch called Normin who would pee on you if he didnt like you...great aim too!!! wink
