Rosemon nodded and pointed to a rather large hive in the center of the forest, not-so-coincidentally shaped like a palace. "If I remember correctly, Queen Butterflymon has it. She and King TigerVespamon have been in a bit of a sulk ever since their son Prince Puroromon vanished."
Sparky's eyebrows shot upward. 'Wasn't FanBeemon's In-Training form called Puroromon?' "That's useful to know; thanks," he told Rosemon with a smile, not letting his shock show.
Rosemon smiled back. "You're welcome." Then she seemed to notice the blindfold and laughed. "Let me guess: territorial girlfriend?" she asked with a smile, getting a confirming nod from Jimmy.

Fortunately, that seemed to do the trick, because Shadow heard the footsteps fading and relaxed. He smiled to Sandra and kissed her on the cheek before starting to help her clean off.

Leo smiled as he laid there with Christa, enjoying the blonde's company.

Jimmy blushed, but obviously liked the sound of that. Rosemon left with a little giggle, and the group began walking toward the hive-palace, which was a little ways away from the rest of the village. "So, FanBeemon," Jimmy began once they were sure nobody but them was around, "exactly when were you planning to tell us you were a prince?"
FanBeemon looked rather sheepish at that as he buzzed over to land on Jimmy's shoulder. "Well, you know, I wanted to tell you guys... but how do you tell someone you're a runaway prince? I mean, that isn't exactly something you can slip into a casual conversation, now, is it? 'By the way, I just so happen to be a runaway prince from a village full of naked women' - not exactly the best way to let that particular cat out of the bag."

Shadow and Sandra soon returned to camp, only to find a blushing Lunamon and Bearmon... apparently they'd heard enough of Sandra's moans to guess what the couple had been doing.

"Well, Missimon went to get water, but for the others, I got the impression that they were going anywhere but here, since they didn't feel like watching," Leo noted.

"Uh... well, no, but Mom's the one who helped me run off on the condition that I don't tell Dad it was her who helped me," FanBeemon admitted. "She was never really that big a fan of Dad's whole 'for the sake of the village' mentality - probably because she used to be a Gatomon, and we insect Digimon tend to think about the welfare of the group as opposed to that of the individual. Don't get me wrong, Dad's a great guy," he added quickly, "but sometimes he's so focused on what's good for the village as a whole that he forgets about the minority. That's always been the way it works - Dad sees the big picture, Mom points out the little details he doesn't notice."

Shadow quickly went to help her... only to swiftly switch to shoving her out of the way as a ray of light vaporized the spot where she'd been a moment ago. He glanced over where the source of the ray seemed to come from and stared in shock when he saw the human-sized white bird-thing staring at them blankly.

Leo nodded, standing up. "Yeah, probably... but I'm thinking we should get some clothes on first," he quipped dryly.

FanBeemon nodded. "Yep, they are!" he agreed proudly as they got close to the castle.

The bird simply stared at them for a moment before it attacked once more. "Holy Flare!"
Shadow immediately ducked, the ray of light just barely missing him. "Well I don't know what it is either. Call me crazy, but since I don't feel like dying, I suggest we RUN LIKE HELL!"

Leo finished getting dressed shortly after Christa did and began looking for the Digimon with her. They found Missimon fairly quickly, then got to work looking for the others.

"Nah; none of the villagers outside the palace have seen me in their life, and once we get to the palace I can stay hidden if I have to," FanBeemon assured them.

Unfortunately, that didn't work too well - a single Holy Flare, aimed at the feet of the two Digimon blasted the two out of position, sending them flying in Sandra's and Shadow's direction and causing them to knock the two humans to the ground. The bird let out a cry of triumph similar to a bird of prey, charging up one last attack...
"Chaos Shot!"
...Only for the wave of light to clash with a wave of darkness, the two canceling each other out as ChaosGallantmon appeared between them.
ChaosGallantmon looked between the bird and the Digidestined, examining them both, before he spoke. "I am ChaosGallantmon, knight of darkness. You are enemies of the Fallen. Prepare to die. Chaos Shot!" The bird was forced to take flight in order to dodge the wave of dark energy that came its way.

The duo soon found the remaining two Digimon cornered by a Magnamon and an ExVeemon. Concerned, Leo immediately tried to get his Digimon to Digivolve, but only managed to get Missimon to digivolve into Commandramon.

Upon reaching the gates, however, they were abruptly blocked by a pair of Kongoumon. "You lot got an appointment with the King and Queen?"

Shadow tried it - it didn't work. "It's not working - from what I can tell, something's blocking the signal," he grunted in reply, watching as the two Megas clashed again and again.

However, the two Digimon seemed to focus in on Commandramon, and immediately opened fire, Magnamon attacking with a Magna Blast and ExVeemon attacking with a V-Laser.

The two Kongoumon blinked at that and looked at each other a moment before one of them spoke. "...Good enough for me." With that, the two stepped out of the way again, even gesturing for the group to go ahead.
