 Jayce could only react slightly that Madilyne had switched her axe to point the sharp side to where his punches came from, which made him only get a slight wound between his fingers. Right after Jayce jumped back and threw 3 fire balls which had the color of dark magenta and then flashed to Madilynes back again to hit her with full force with a punch which was not empowered with his flames.

 Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luckily the blade of the axe hadn't buried into Madilyne and she managed to knock away the fireballs that he had hurtled towards her with it but that gave her little time to react as she took another hit from behind, this time causing her to roll across the deck. "Dang it.." she mumbled as she stood and faced him. Professor what do I do...she thought as she decided what to do. She had no special powers that she knew of...only strength and speed...she needed a meister...being sent on a mission before her first day of school...what was the professor thinking??? But she knew she had to try. This time she decided to make the first move and used her small and quick stature to dart forward, coming across his right shoulder with a slash from her axe. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

When Jayce received the slash to his right shoulder he didn't even make a face that showed that he was hurt. In fact, he sighed ''If this is the best you can do then I won't be your opponent. I don't see any honor in winning a fight against someone that's way weaker.'' Jayce put his left hand over his right should to make sure it bled less and looked over at Madilyne.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne took a step back after the slash, glaring at him as he spoke. "I'm not a fighter...I don't wish to hurt you very badly." she said lightly. Which was true...she did not possess the madness her father did and tried h ard to keep her enjoyments down to a normal...not like her father which dissecting weaker creatures seemed to be his fancyy. Though she did enjoy it. "Just hand over the sapphire." she tried once more toask calmly. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Captain Sandy Captain Sandy watched the fighting, holding onto the door frame to keep her steady. When Madilyne asked for the Sapphire again, Captain Sandy laughed. "You know what? Sure. You've been so kind as to entertain a kishin for several minutes after all," she said with a slight grin. She put one hand on the Sapphire on her necklace and the other into her pocket. She pulled out a small leather bag. Something inside glowed with a blue light. "That is, of course, if you can guess which Sapphire is the right one," she said, walking over to the edge of the ship. She looked over the side once, then held out the bag over the edge. "Either it's on my neck or it's in this bag," she told Madilyne. "If you go after the bag I'll get away with this Sapphire and you'll never see me or it again. If I drop the bag and you stay here and take the Sapphire around my neck, you'll never be able to find where I dropped it and I'll simply come back and nab it when the coast is clear." She gave Madilyne another grin. "Only one can be the real Sapphire," she told her. Without another word she let go of the bag and it fell into the darkness. [[ Warning: only one choice is the correct answer. You must decide in your next post. If you choose correctly you'll get the Sapphire as a bonus item. If you choose incorrectly you will not. Either way you will get 10 kishin eggs for completing the quest. ]]

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne turned when the captain spoke and listened with interest. The event that happened next made her tense. She had no idea which was which! When the captain dropped the bag, Madilyne tried to muster a better plan. "I...choose the one around your neck." she said, honestly taking a guess in the dark but feeling it was right. If she was wrong, she could at least try to find the one dropped with her own set of skills...but if not, at least she would have a fifty fifty chance of being right about the other. She approaced the captain slowly, her axe turning back into her arm and crawling up her shoulder, hanging on as she held her other hand out to take the sapphire she had. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Captain Sandy Captain Sandy pulled the necklace with the Sapphire off and tossed it to her. "Here," she said as the ship continued on into the dark. "We'll even be kind enough to drop you off just outside of town," she said before she walked back into her cabin. ((Timeskip)) The WaveDancer lifted off once again, leaving Madilyne just outside of the town, where Detective Meyers would be waiting on the dock to hear her results and check the authenticity of the Sapphire.

Madilyne May ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Madilyne stood with the sapphire at the edge of the town, looking it up and down and hoping she made the right descision. If not, she would tell the detectives and help them look for the real one. For now at least she wasn't empty handed. She hadn't gotten her eye back and she stood with her one good one in and her arm still detatched. She took five minutes to sew it back on, slipping the sapphire into the pocket next to the needle and thread when she was finished. She then walked casually to the dock. ~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 Lucian looked around at the rest of the displays "Well, are there any leads to who it may be? A janitor or someone?" He had no idea really, but a few guesses wouldn't hurt. ((GAHHHHHH I'm so so so sorry ive been super uber busy lately cuz of the holidays and my cousin just had her baby and all this stuff. But im back and ready to get this mission going for us Sabre.))

Detective Blake  Detective Blake looked over at Lucien. "Yes, we have three witnesses for you to interview," he told him. "A janitor, a security guard and a citizen who happened to be in the area. They all have information, but they're all suspects as well so keep that in mind." He looked towards the door where the three witnesses were waiting to be interviewed. "They're all yours," he told him.
