Ark yawned again, trying to shake the sleepiness that had overcome him. "It hasn't been that long, but do you mind if I bring my birds over? I've been feeling so tired lately, I'm not sure I'm able to drive back and forth to take care of them," he said, not having the energy to get up and face Nezumi.

"Is it all right if I bring them over today?" Ark asked as he got up. He felt a bit warm, so he took his tie off, and then undid the rest of his shirt's buttons and took it off, leaving him with his thin white undershirt. He went to sit down at the table, waiting for an answer from Nezumi.

"Thank you for dinner," Ark said, quickly continuing, "I'll get them after I eat. They might be a bit louder than usual at first, due to the change of scenery, I think." Ark looked over at Nezumi, noticing his gaze wasn't returned. "Do you have any preference for where they should stay? Not that I take issue with them being in my room."

"Do you mind if I leave them in the living room? They like being around people," Ark said, eating pretty quickly. He wanted to get over to his apartment and get his birds before he was too tired.

"Oh, it's okay. Their cages are collapsible, I just have to get them in a smaller cage to transport them in my car. Unless you mean help me figure out where to put them," Ark said. "Well, you're doing me a favor here, so whatever you'd like."

Damn, if he didn't know better he would have thought that the older man was doing it on propose. He knew that if this keep up, he'd have to releive himself later. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

(( Since we've posted a lot tonight, I figured I'd tell you I'm going to sleep. c: Sooo tired. Though I might reply once more, depending how quick it comes. ))
Ark had hurriedly gone to his apartment and got his birds and their materials ready to leave. He had been gone about a hour, and came back to Nezumi's around 6:30PM. When he entered the house, he was carrying two bird cages; one with a yellow-gold bird, and the other with two love birds. He put them down on the table, and turned to where Nezumi was. "Did you find a place to put them?" he asked.
