His eyes fell. "A small town off the coast of the sea ..." he answered quietly. "How 'bout you?" He watched as the clouds rolled overhead, hopeing one would block the putrid sunlight.

she decided to ignore his question, not wanting to spill her guts to this complete stranger, and instead took his comment. "Beautiful isn't it? I think it's even better now than it was then. Takes a real eye to see hidden splendor like this." she eyed him to see his reaction

Mimicry entered the ruins, admiring the ruble around her. Sitting herself along the edge of the fountain, she opened her parasol to block the sun and twirled the parasol over her shoulder.

Mimicry sighed, sitting there gave her the chance for her to think. Thinking, wasn't exactly the greatest thing. That's why she dreaded sleeping. Closing her eyes, she listened to everything around her.

Lilah started at Xeapher's sudden movement and he hand flew to her dagger handle. she waited with now-burgandy eyes watching the distance
