October's eyes flew up from his book and his green eyes narrowed.. oh that was it...
He scooted his chair closer to Avery and grabbed him gently by the arm pulling him so he's sitting straight up, he leaned over and whispered something into the other man's ears..
okay.. so yeah.. he just met him..
never really stopped him before..

Bren waved a hand, "Oh...that...yeah...I know who that is. Little s**t...but, I am aware what they're up to." He thought a moment. "Are you sure you're not seeing those colored lights over the horizon getting closer?"
Christian shook his head, "I don't use it...except on legal papers." He looked atthe guy, was that a predatory look? "Um...do you come to the elysium often? I don't think I've seen you before?"

Saskia had been to the bar many a time, although she never stayed for long. She had quickly learnt that much information could be gathered from those that frequented the bar, although it had to be known who to ask. Slipping slightly through the heavy front doors, her single good eyes roved over the room occupants. Spotting a spare seat in a darkened corner of the bar, she made her way gracefully through the crowd until she reached it.
Daedalus was still perched upon the Sidhe's shoulder, his eyes regarding the bars patrons with a similar cold expression. Admitingly he was still surprised that Saskia had decided to accept the mission, despite what he had managed to learn about the target. He was the voice of reason in the duo, although he wouldn't risk his personal safety to to try and convince her that perhaps it was best to simply abandon the hit. She had made up her mind, and nothing would alter that now.

Sami smiled slightly. "Perhaps so. But what Ain Sees is unknown to me still..." And that was what worried her. If they Saw the same visions... that would be fine. But if Ain Saw another danger lurking... one that Sami could not foretell...

He heard the scrap of chair but he didn;t really register until October's mouth was against his ear whispering things that he didn't know could come out of a guys mouth that had only met you not even an hour ago.
Geeze the kinky bastards on the strip didn't even get that fresh that fast. They usually bought you a drink first at least.
Keeping as straight a face as he could he said back to Christian " First time here actually. Can't really say what kept me away to this point. However I may plan on coming back soon if talent like you hangs out here." he said with a wink.
Damnit! what did October think he was doing? His eyes slid over to meet those green pools as he spoke several times. What was making him be like this? They didn't even know each other.

October looked at him for a few seconds before he sighed and sat back in his chair fully giving up.. He slouched down low and brought the book up to cover his face so he could forget where he was...
He was good at burying himself in text books.. and at least by doing that he wouldn't have to watch someone who had been interested a few minutes ago flirting with someone else..
There was always killing..
but then again that wasn't allowed in places like this..
October seriously decided that this was officially no fun..

((A note...unless you are a changeling, or glamour imbued...you cannot see Daedalus.))
Bren shrugged, "I had dreams...I told you...about flashing lights coming closer. I don't know if it's good or bad." He glanced at Saskia, tilting his head, then nodded to Bently.
Bently headed over to see if the lady needed a drink. "What's your poison?"
Christina blinked a bit, startled by the other man's reaction. "I think...your friend doesn't wantto be interupted. I should probably move to another table..." He stated to gather his things, "I come here a lot...best inspiration for my work.."

Sami gently patted Bren's hand. "It's still unclear. Even though too much light can destroy our kind, it doesn't necessarily mean danger. There are others who bear light..."
Was she merely reassuring him because she didn't want him to worry? Or did she really not know what it meant...? Sami wasn't even sure herself anymore. Lately, she'd been feeling more and more like a veil slowly was falling between herself and her visions.

Watching October sink into what could only be described as a sulking posture he decided that if he wanted to talk he was going to have unbury his face from the book otherwise the only person he had to talk to at the moment was going to leave and he was going to get to watch sulking while being glared at.
Not one for drama he looked to see Christian gathering up his things.
"Oh hey man at least let me buy you a drink for doing such an awesome sketch. It's the least I could do since you've been so nice to a first timer like myself." he said with a grin pushing off from the table. At leats the kid wasn't moody he though glancing one last time at October.
What was his issue!?

Saskia raised her eyes to meet the mans. Her expression was distant as she regarded him, her thoughts more on the hit she had yet to make. "Give me the strongest poison you've got" she replied, although her tone was as distant as her expression. She had made up her mind regarding the target, and had every intention to see it through - but why did it seem to weigh on her mind so.

When out of the corner of his eye he saw Avery pushing away from the table October darted a hand out and grabbed his wrist.. he shut the book and rested it against the edge of the table.. "leaving...." he practically purred..

Bren shrugged, "I don't know...I'm trying not to worry with it so much, keep my mind on the tasks at hand. Those that are close come first..."
Christina nodded, "Sure...a martini, dry. Unless...that's too much." He looked at the guy, then down at his own shoes. He lookes back, "You're friend won't mind?"

"There's always going to be trouble in a city like this-- so work with the dangers as they come. Because sooner or later the head of the snake will rise-- and that will be the time to strike the entire being down," Sami murmured as she toyed with her drink.

Feeling a vice like grip clamp around his wrist he looked down at where October's hand was clasped tightly around the flesh there. Sucking in a bretah he said "Yeah to get a drink."
Tugging a bit on his wrist he tried to not make it an obvious scene as he worked to free himself from his newly found captor.
"No I am sure that he doesn't mind at all." he said over his shoulder a bit to Christian using his body to block the grip October had on him. Leaning down he hissed practically at him "What the hell are you doing? Let go right now."
If he did not let go right now he was paying double the dman price for costing him a quick happy hour shag.

Bren nodded, "Yeah...true. I just can't figure out what it is. For once, I'm not even worried about the Sabbat movement in the south..."
Bently nodded, "Aye." He got her the strongest vodka they had, and added just a touch of twelve year old scotch. He set it before the lady and winked a bit. "This will clear yer head, or burn a hole in yer stomach. I forget really which."
Christian was feeling very uncomfortable with the way these two were. He wasn't sure how they knew each other, but the one seemed a bit posessive, and it was probably best not to get involved. "Look...um...maybe you can get that drink some other time..."
