((Dasher was intended to join Tanessa and company.))
((And I like the crystal moth... Whoever gave you that picture is a genius.))
Mammon stepped on Farfarello's head, rubbing his clawed feet into the poor demon's scalp.
"You know, I'm actually starting to feel bad for you." he said as he checked his fingernails, "If you give me a sincere apology for being selfish, I'll let you live and send you back to that wagon you love so much. What do you say to that, Farfarello?"
((Now, I must take my leave. Bye, all.))

(I'm for the serpent)
Hashmal gasped as the scenery changed.
"Actually, I think I like this place much more now." She nodded, "I think I want a house built here. All it's missing is the blood... it needs more blood..."

((I prefer the serpent >> ))
"If you are indeed telling the truth," Farfarello said through mostly forced, grit teeth, "then you have my sincerest of apologies." The demon went limp underneath Mammon, relaxing many screaming muscles and bones. Ever since the beginning, but especially now, Mammon held Farfarello's life between his thumb and finger, ready to rub it out at a second's fleeting thought, or to let go and let Farfarello be another moment.

((DAMN YOU ALL!!! scream xd ))
There was laughter. Lots of high-pitched, ear piercing laughter...
...And then Mammon was gone. The room was gone, and Farfarello would find himself laying in the middle of the caravan.

((All right. I've decided. For the duration of this post, you should all listen to the Final Fantasy X Boss Theme, here.)) Suddenly, a giant, black serpent--also known as the Velwyrm--burst out of the sand, spiraling over and under the caravan--at high speed--in a continuous circular pattern, its massive jaws emitting a high-pitch screech. From above descended an amazing, crystalline, winged moth-type thing, out of the clouds and out of the blue. Also known as the...((Kaye? Input?)). The Velwyrm ceased its spiraling and simply began to keep pace with the caravan, on its left side, careening into and out of the sand like the Loch Ness monster's humps in that famous picture. Meanwhile, on the other side, floating somewhat above and to the right, but keeping speed nonetheless, was the Crystal Moth ((???)), which was unconcerned about canyons and such. Both seemed intent on stopping and devouring the caravan and its contents. Raedou, Hashmal, Farfarello, and Jaeto would have to fight two boss-creatures at once... since Calisto probably could not fight whatsoever. "Raedou!" Jaeto shouted, all business now. The two were old friends, even if Raedou was angry about Jaeto's past mistakes. "We have to protect Calisto! A-and the caravan!"

(( xd Nice music ))
Farfarello arose, as stated, in the middle of the caravan. There wasn't a scratch on his body. The puzzled demon was left to wonder if it had all just been an odd dream, though a nagging corner of his mind informed him that Mammon was there, and knew his every action, as he always had. He shook it off and stood, analyzing the scene. "What is wrong with you people?! I leave for ten minuets and everything goes to pieces!"
---
Since Calisto could not fight whatsoever, she did the best she could; clinging onto anything stable and praying for dear life.

"Oh, this'll be easy..." Hashmal said, looking at the snake, "It doesn't even have an armored hide..."

Jaeto spun his halberd expertly, preparing to fend off a giant rampaging snake. Then he realized that the Crystal Moth was going to be better for him to fight, since his halberd had range that swords did not. And the Crystal Moth was flying.
Jaeto jumped to that side of the caravan. When he wasn't sleeping, bewitched, or unconscious, he could fight pretty well. After all, he was a soldier of Favraes, like Raedou.
((Yes, I love this boss music. I only wish I'd found one with the characteristic sound that is played on the initiation of each boss battle. FFX pwns.))

Hashmal instead opted for the Draon battle style: She leaped onto the serpent and stabbed the blade in, deep. gripping the blade hilt, she stabbed the three rope-like barbs on her back into the serpent. She then removed her sword, attached to the beast via the barbs, and proceeded to stab it repeatedly with glee. If it wasn't for her race or armor, Hashmal could have been considered a suicidal warrior with no self-preservation. in truth, she just had no self-preservation.
(And Hashmal initiates her attack: Latch on and stab many times until target dies.)

(possible, but Hashmal was MADE to live in such places. If she gets left behind, she'll just jump back. With her gravity training, she could do a jump like the Incredible hulk (in the crappy movie.))

((...not where she'll be going. I'm serious, SPI. If she does that, she will die. Tentacles will drag her down, and no matter how strong she is, if she has no purchase for her legs, she'll get sucked under. "This is a caravan battle, and that's what it's going to stay, Dammit!"
...my best Kaye impression, although he probably would have included the word b*****d three times or more.... stare ))

All the coastal cities of Rantuinne received a large shock when, suddenly, all defensive walls and towers surrounding the perimeter of said cities collapsed into piles of rubble and, then, sunk into the sand. The forest of barbed tentacles stopped just short of the cities, seemingly deterred by the ocean beyond. But that did not stop the howling of Frenrir-brood (wolves) from raising the hair on every man's nape. It was a military disaster, and one with which Rantuinne's leader would have his hands full in burden. Military forces needed to be organized immediately, ready to create a living, human wall in order to keep out the creatures of the Horde that would soon pervade Rantuinne.
This time, there were no walls to stop them, and no Sand Master to deter them.

((The Crystal Moth's name is Swanswith.)) ((As for that impression of the glory that is me, you nailed it pretty good. I found no place to use my favorite word in there, however.)) ((I think the Incredible Hulk was very... not incredible. How is it that he loses every article of clothing except for his pants? Every time? Those must be some really stretchy pants.)) (( This is what Raedou sounds like when he whistles.)) ----- Raedou looked up and around as the two beasts closed in on the caravan.
"Damnation!" he scowled as he leaned over to Ackune.
The Ganzi then let out a loud, high-pitched whistling noise, similar to that of an elk. The bison made a similar noise and began riding faster in a straight line that would lead the caravan out of the desert and onto the island shore, if all went well and they weren't eaten alive.
"Bean sprout!" he yelled to the demon, "Man the caravan now!"
He then climbed on the top of the caravan with Jaeto to fight off the Swanswith.
"Just like old times, eh, Jaeto?" he called to the Long Arm as he unsheathed his blade and readied his finger for a Tor Borot spell, should it be needed.
The moth drew ever closer, the low hum of it's crystalline wings blaring in all directions, able to be heard for miles.----- Perrault looked around.
"What happened here, mother- er, Myrrelda?" he asked as he watched the destruction below.----- Mistraltz listened closely at the howling of the beasts, and the hair on his nape was indeed raised. His eyes widened in fear as he thought of the only possible thing (or things) that could be making this noise. Emerelda pushed through the crowd of humans and Ganzi, lookeing around for Mistraltz until she spotted him and ran to his side. Her legs were burning.
"What's going on...?" she asked Mistraltz, a little bit scared.
"I... don't know." the man replied as he gripped his saber tightly, slightly more afraid than the little elven girl, "We should go tell Lord Valthere."
He then sped towards the Ores House, where Valthere was talking with the Ganzian Prime Alchemists.
