Yes! I forgot about those drones, and even though I use them for shock troops, you are totally right. I had forgotten they have that burrow ability. I remember the first time they sprang on some unit that was walking on top of them, I didn't expect them to actually go flying.

ok. i like the sisters of battle and the dark eldar as much as the next guy. but what the heck. where are my Tyranids? i mean we already have 2 human armies and eldar. what are they worried that blizzard is gonna sue them? the Zerg were stolen off the Tyranids. this is just annoying me.
but air units should be fun.

yeah they creators had problems with making the vast amounts of nids in the game so they came to do dark eldar instead. Much more simple to do than Nids

Please read the previous five or so pages, I don't want to explain it in simple terms again. JUST DO IT.

Official trailers of both races and interview can be found here: http://www.gamespot.com/video/943419/6181750/warhammer-40-000-dawn-of-war-soulstorm-official-movie-1
For those too lax to watch, the Sisters of Battle have been confirmed and visuals have been shown of boob-shaped creatures in power armour. The following Sisters of Battle units shown and confirmed: Sisters repentia, the Living Saint (those wings make it hard to ignore), Penitent Engine, Battle Sister squad (which also acts as Dominion and Retribution squad), Exorcist, Canoness with Inferno pistol and the Immolator with heavy flamers. Only things really missing are the Seraphim and Arco-flagellants.
It would seem that much like how the Imperial Guard deals more damage in hordes, the Sisters gain some sort of buff / bonus when grouped together or with a certain unit or upgrade, as the models had golden iron halos over their heads at one point.
The graphics engine is really looking dated now though. Dark Eldar had a ton of new units on display, but I don't care for them.

Well they need to have the generic jump unit, so that's Seraphim in, I just hope that they get Flagellants. It's be good if you could mix and match them with the Guard too. : (

There have been hints made in the interview that new units besides the fliers will make their appearance. AA units are one thing, but some other things perhaps? Bikes for most established armies (SM, CSM, Orks and Eldar), maybe give the Tau Piranha's. Necrons wont be getting anything, that much has been confirmed, as all important codex units are already in the game and it has been confirmed that they will not be getting any flying units.
Ah yes, the jetbikes are static things, they don't zip past, they just stop, fire and turn on the spot, no dynamic thing of any sort. *pew! pew!* We shoot purplish globby like streams of razor sharp thingies.

The Dark Eldar look pretty boss. The projection for release is earlier than expected for me.

Will you be able to install and play it without the previous games, like they did with Dark Crusade? (although multiplayer quickly got boring without all the games razz ) i figure they will, just asking to be sure

It is just like Dark Crusade, so you will only be able to play as the Sisters and the Dark Eldar. I am not sure if that is just limited to multiplayer though.

Yes, the game will have the same MP mechanics as DC. However, I do hope that you can just enter the keys instead of having to install each game and have them waste disc space while you don't use them.

That would be very convenient indeed.
I am pondering whether at all I am going to get this, seeing that I will be buying a multitude of things before this comes out. I might have so many things to entertain myself with that I won't have time for this one.
