Angilwingz Bubble Gum flavoured things taste bad. I've eaten bubble gum flavored ice cream. That was a really weird experience neutral I wouldn't call it bad though. Just....weeeiiiirrrrrd.

hay you guys, I have a couple of questions about the guild and this is the only spot I thought would be good to ask:
when you first get sorted you have to start in 1st year right?
Should you just get sorted when there is a sorting or do you have to wait until you have enough posts and you've been on for long enough?
am I allowed to roleplay as someone I'm not in the guild?

hyperlybuilt hay you guys, I have a couple of questions about the guild and this is the only spot I thought would be good to ask: when you first get sorted you have to start in 1st year right? Should you just get sorted when there is a sorting or do you have to wait until you have enough posts and you've been on for long enough? am I allowed to roleplay as someone I'm not in the guild? Hey, I'm the Slytherin Head of House, and one of the current mods, so I feel I can effectively answer your questions.
When you are first sorted, yes, you are first year, no "ifs" "ands" or "buts".
In the past, you were able to choose your house and year, but that caused an impalance in numbers and consequently in the house points.
Since then we have implimented our own sorting system...and we only sort at beginning and middle of term.
Since you are new there is little chance of you making the time requirement before the next sorting.
If you really want to be sorted, meet the post requirements and continue to be active, submit your sorting application and include something at the bottom like your total number of posts, where you like to roleplay, and why you think you deserve to be sorted, also put how long you've been in the guild and how long you had to wait to be accepted and KT may consider sorting you at the very end of the eloted sorting time. I
f you are not sorted, please don't take it too personally.
And don't be upset, because you can still be active and participate as a house elf.
And as a house elf, you have chances to participate in classes and events made specially for you! We fit two Hogwarts years into every real year and you won't have to wait very long for the next sorting.
If you remain a house elf by choice, then you can be up for special positions like head elf or ghost and many other things.
As far as roleplay goes, for the literate roleplays you must create a character and stick with that, you can even be a creature or whatever you want pending the roleplays.
For the more casual roleplays, most people tend to be, to a certain extent, who they are.
If you are an elf then you will be an elf...etc...whatever attributes you choose are up to you.
We do have one student who is part demon (though you didn't hear it from me) and another who is an exchange student from Durmstrang here solely to map Hogwarts.
I hope this all helps.

(Slytherin Head of House) yay thankyou! finally, I've been serching the forums for the answers but it didn't say anything and I didn't want to go off topic with something so I thought it would be good to post here thankyou! I have been as active as I can, I've been here since yesterday and I now have around 12/13 posts so I think I'm okay biggrin thanks again!
