Ea scowled at the other's little insult. "I'm a mongoose, Stupid Face," he grumbled back at the other, a look of incredible distaste on his features. "And that's the mystery, you know? 'Cuz Mom doesn't smell like it, and neither does Dad... And I know Mom gave birth to me because there were witnesses.... I guess she just had an affair or something -- or maybe these genes can skip generations," he said with a small, offhand shrug. "Anyway, my parents don't even know what I am, fortunately, or I'd be sent to some sort of... facility. Or maybe they'd send me to Hawaii with the rest of my migrated kin," he said, a light grin playing across his lips, despite the seriousness of his situation. He obviously did not expect any understanding from 'outsiders.'
"And, you know, Penn doesn't smell like one, either. Anyway, he looks like Dad.... I don't really look obviously like anyone from the family because the genes kinda made my hair... weird. But my bone structure is much like that of some of my cousins, so I don't think I was some sort of... changling or anything," he said with yet another shrug.
Throughout this entire time, Liao had said not a single word. He had remained rooted to the spot, his eyes wide. "You're his... brother?" he asked slowly, his voice and expression equally blank. Ea nodded slowly, watching the boy with a slightly pensive expression. "I thought you were just... I don't know, someone he paid to do errands. But he's been blackmailing you, right?" Another nod from Ea. At this, Liao's expression hurriedly gained emotion -- the majority of which was anger. "That stupid man can go find some other decoy, then," he muttured under his breath. He was obviously seathing -- he hated when people used secrets, particularly family ones, against others. Despite his pessimistic attitude and usual skepticism, Liao was had a bit of a justish fetish, or something similar. He couldn't stand horrible things like the way Penn was using Ea.

Wei fought off the instinctive urge to bite at Ea's face at his offhand comment. Because of said urge clouding his mind the snake only half heard what the two were talking about. In the end, he realized he really didn't care, it wasn't as if anything they were saying made sense to him (although that may have been the case since he was only selectively listening).

Ea looked quite pleased with the outcome -- particularly Liao's reaction. He really did not want the boy around Penn, both to spite his brother as well as (at least partly) a desire to make sure the kid didn't get... killed or something. Ea didn't know what Penn would do if he found out that Liao was a kitten.
"Alright, then, Kitty, I need to go..." he said, a surprisingly bright smile on his lips. He got up and then leaned over to give the small teen a hug, his black eyes roaming over to where Wei was. A small grin formed on his lips. With how protective Wei was of the kitten and the way he (predictably) hated Ea, he knew the older male wouldn't be able to stand it -- and he really, really wanted to get on Wei's nerves. It was just so much fun.
After several moments, he pulled away from a severely confuzed-looking kitten. Ea lifted his pale hand and patted the kitten on the head, making sure to mess up his hair as much as possible in that short hair. Liao scowled slightly and shifted away from the ivory-haired teen, raising his own slender hands to try and set his bright, stray locks to rest.
"G'bye, Stupid Face," Ea said, directing quite the mischevious grin in Wei's direction. "I might stop by later since you don't seem to know how to take care of kittens. After all, snakey scaley people don't really know the needs of furrier animals." He turned back to Liao, then. "Kitty, I'm going to call you in a bit so you'll have my number if Penn gets you in a bad situation, 'kay?" Liao nodded, looking a little moody at having had his hair mussed so thuroughly. With one last, departing grin, Ea left, his braid bouncing quite merrily. He felt quite sattisfied with himself, after all.

[[For once, the b*****d inspires me]]
Wei didn't make much of a response at the hug that lasted a little too long. He scowled a bit, but that was it. He'd probably ask Liao to make sure he took a shower tomorrow so he didn't reek of weasel, but otherwise, the action didn't bother him very much. And why? He asked himself this several times over and he concluded that it was because Ea was not Penn, and Penn was the one who he was truly angry with... Wei could always bite back a primitive instinct, but when some regular, old human made him mad it was very hard to calm himself the hell down.
"So you said that your b*****d of a brother is sick, right?" He asked, green eyes holding a glittery-snide look in them. Blinking back any sort of reptilian feature, the snake walked forward as Ea attempted to leave. "Could I make his day a living hell, please? Just this once? No one ******** with that kitten and gets away with it, and more importantly no stinking human ******** with us and gets away with it." Us, meaning the general population of not-quite-humans. "You said you were free, right? Why not make today count," he murmured with a sly look, peering down at the mongoose with his emerald eyes.
[[oh man, with Wei, that could be taken so many ways. xwx;]]

At Wei's words, Ea paused and turned around, his black eyes glittering. A grin quite the mirror of Wei's had formed on his own face. "Snakey, for once you don't sound nearly as stupid as I thought you were," he said, looking quite pleased with the other's request. Any chance at causing Penn pain without getting caught (or even with being caught), he would of course take...... "What, exactly, might you have in mind?" he asked, taking several steps back into the room until he was facing Wei fully. Obviously, any sort of animalistic grudges didn't even come close to his grudge against his brother.
"Yeah, he's really sick... He never had chicken pox as a kid, you know? So if I brought one of those sick kids home to 'take care of him' since his parents were away, what do you think happened?" he asked, a highly mischevious grin on his lips. "Yeah, that b*****d is sick alright. They say the chicken pox is a lot worse if you get it when you're not a kid."

Wei blinked several times, "Good thing I've had chicken pox already... You know, you can die if you get them when you're older, they're a lot more dangerous and stuff," he explained, looking back at Liao and Benji for a moment before continuing, "Oh I have a few tricks up my sleeve to teach the b*****d a lesson. I do need to know a few things first though," he said, leaving into the doorway, "Does he ever threaten to tell people your little secret? Does he use it against you?"

Ea shrugged with an uninterested expression. "That's a minor detail. Penn's strong and I bet he'll live, anyway, just to spite me," he said in a bit of an off-hand manner. At the last two questions, a small frown formed on the bleach-haired teen's lips. "Snakey, don't go disapointing me now when I said you weren't stupid any more. I told you already, he's blackmailing me. Why else would I ever swallow my pride to be that b*****d's personal slave? And you know what, it's more than that -- since Penn is someone who is 'so perfect' and 'so nice' and all, no one would believe me if I said he was blackmailing me.... and you know, if I ever started to have a friend or anything, Genius Penn would either steal him away or force me into noncommunication," Ea said, a heavy scowl on his lips and a look of fierce resentment in his gaze. "So, to answer your question, yes, he does use it against me quite a lot."

"I won't. If he's as creepy as I think he is, I'm sure my plan will work out beautifully~" He murmured with an almost sinister hint to voice. "But you're just going have to go with the flow, so don't freak out on me, okay, Stink-bomb?"
Heading out to the hall, Wei left the care of Liao to Benji once more before brushing a hand through black locks. "You coming?"

((Aye aye.))
The walk wasn't too long. Or, at least, the walk that Ea and Wei took. Ea could drive... and he had a car, but it made him easier to trace if Penn should ever care to find out just what Ea had been doing on his sick day.... so the bleach-haired teen had gotten into the habbit of using the subway. He knew the routes quite well and knew that with Penn's strong disreguard for such forms of public transportation, it wasn't likely that the man would suspect Ea of using this system. Ea even had his own subway pass -- which he used to pay for both himself and Wei. "You'll treat me later, right? Since I'm paying for subway," Ea said, a light grin on his lips. It was so much easier to smile when he knew that Penn was completely bedridden and either passed out or throwing up.
From there, the wait and ride was a short one, and the walk to Ea and Penn's home a small one. However, the word "home" didn't seem to fit the large mansion. It was... huge and obviously belonged to a family with no financial sufferings whatsoever. "So this is the demon's residence," Ea remarked cooly. He was used to the place, after all. The shorter, paler male had a card key and access code that let him inside the gate. The front door was a simple matter of recognition from a made (who looked Wei over with quite the lingering expression of a bad after taste). She led the two silently through ornate, velvet-covered hallways, upstairs and into a room that, once inside, was undoubtedly Ea's. The teen waited for the maid to leave and then turned to Wei.
"Jeez. The heir gets sick and there's this huge, opressive silence everywhere. I mean, it's usually quiet, but this is ridiculous, you know?" he said, a small scowl forming on his lips. Ea looked decidedly less comfortable now that he was inside of his own "home." "Anyway, what sort of thing do you have in mind? 'Cuz I need to know how to enter that b*****d's room. If you don't want to tell me the exact plan, that's fine, but, like... something for starting off would be nice," Ea said with a small shrug.

Wei didn't say much, other than a throaty growl at the maid's staring. Instead of answering Ea's question, the snake turned to him after giving his surroundings a quick glance. "Is your room close to Penn's?" He asked, scratching at his chin as he craned his head towards the smaller male.

"Ehh? Yeah.... his is just down the hall," Ea said with an offhand shrug. He didn't know what Wei was planning... but he was itching to find out. There was a feeling of hefty anticipation fluttering though his system -- a feeling he hadn't had much of recently. Usually, his days were the same Penn-induced drudgery, but.... Wei was something different, someone... interesting.

[[Omg, I'm sick again. 100.6 temp. here's to hoping it goes down. I didn't write this post when my temp. was that high, I'm sort of curious what my writing would do with this accursed fever. It's a computer/homework day for meeee~~ Wei was something different, someone...pervy interesting.]]
Contrary to many of his comments, Wei had a fairly shitty sense of smell. However, he could sense things, things that many animals and humans alike would never be able to pick up on. Humans and others could hear someone's breath quicken, but could they feel the thrumming, little vibrations your blood made when it was pulsing quicker than it had ever before? Hell no, and that's what made snakes very different from the rest of the population. So, his sense of smell was shot... he didn't really mind that, it was a nice trade off in his mind.
He could feel the little mongoose's excitement, it was almost intoxicating. Wei had never felt his primal instincts clash so heavily with his more human mind. Part of him wanted to sink his teeth into the teen's neck for no apparent reason other than just to do it, while his more rational side would've been fine with feeling Ea's blood boil-- how he would achieve that was debatable.
"Perfect," he murmured in a low tone, before sweeping predatory eyes down the teen's frame. "Hopefully you'll be loud enough to wake that b*****d up," the snake added before nudging the teen in front of him. "Lead the way~"
[[what else would you expect from Wei?]]

((I hope you get better soon! D: ))
Ea nodded slowly, though he didn't understand what Wei meant by "hopefully you'll be loud enough." Loud enough... how? Was Wei going to make him scream or something or just walk heavily or... what? He couldn't help it, though -- despite those small doubts, Ea was much too excited over to prospect of doing something vile to Penn to worry over anything else that might happen. Eyes slightly dilated, the teen sucked his lips into his mouth for a moment, his face the epitome od overflowing eagerness. He grinned at Wei, then, a deffinate gleam to his black eyes, and lead the other out the door and down the (very long) hallway to his brother's room.
No nurses were inside at the moment, he knew... he could only smell Penn in there and he knew his brother hated showing anyone weakness, even if that someone was trying to help him get better. There wasn't even a maid standing outside the door -- apparently they had been yelled out enough by now to want to keep their distance. "Here's the room. Do we just stride right in or...?" he asked, leaking his question unfinished. After all, he had no idea what Wei was planning.

[[I feel bad writing this... Ea's so cute and all like, 'we should play music rly, rly loud. 83'. Oh, Wei, why must you corrupt people so?]]
"No, out here is fine as long as your parents don't go strolling down this hallway often," he said slowly, with a smirk, his canine-teeth a little more pointy than usual as he tried to hold back any animal urges. he couldn't really bite Ea, that'd just make him pass out and Wei wasn't that extreme.
Curling fingers around the, thankfully legal, teen's wrists, the snake grinned eerily down at him as he pushed him against wall adjacent to Penn's room. It wasn't exactly a shove but it wasn't exactly a light push either, somewhere in between that made quite a racket. He didn't mind that his fingers slammed into the wall, taking most of the brunt rather than Ea's own hands, nor did he mind the pain in his knee as he pushed it forcefully against the wall, trying to make as much noise as possible as he pinned the teen down. "You promised not to freak out, remember?" he murmured softly in a low tone, careful not to be very loud in case the sick man was indeed already awake. "I'd be very pleased to screw with his head a bit if he tries telling me you're an animal," he explained almost cryptically before kissing the younger male hard on the mouth, hoping his fangs weren't too sharp.

((Ea's not as innocent as all that. And he kind of already has conflicting emotions from thinking that a snake was good looking. 8D;;;; By the way, mongeese are extremely immune to snake poison.... So I doubt he'd be off quite so badly as Wei thinks if he were to actually get bitten.))
"No, they're both out on business--" the teen began to explain, turning back from the door to glance over at Wei. Wait, why was the hallway good enough?! Of course, what with the other's expression and the waves of animalistic nature practically radiating from the other's body, Ea should have known already.....
Moments later and Wei had him securely (and quite loudly) pinned to the wall. The pale teen's black eyes were wide -- mostly with shock, as he wasn't one to feel fear for such situations.... After all, no matter his looks, he wasn't the child everyone seemed to think of him by the "purity" of his hair and skin. He wasn't like that, wasn't some porcelein doll that was kept steralized on a shelf. His heartbeat had quickened, as had his breathing. So that was what Wei had in mind -- and, granted that Penn was already awake or waking, it would probably work, too.....
As Wei's lips pressed harshly against his own, his head hit the wall. It was no great force, not enough to hurt... but it sounded quite loudly. He pressed his own lips back up into Wei's. He could feel fangs... and not just Wei's -- his own had... sharpened slightly. It was hard, with a snake in such proximity, coupled with his excitement at doing something so thuroughly against Penn... as well as his... well, he couldn't pretend that it didn't feel nice to have the other's body pressing against his own. After all, slaves never got much of a love life, whether it be a fling or something more. He wasn't transformed, though.... just... slightly less human than before, although it would be impossible for an outsider to tell.
