"Really?"
Haro looked simply overjoyed with the cat's agreeable responses. Not only would they spend some time alone, not like they didn't already do that but it was different when one asked your significant other to do just that, but also Shin had agreed to try and see his mom. Haro could see how sad it made the older teen when he talked about his family and wouldn't visiting his mother ease the hurt inside a little?
Wrapping arms around the tiger's neck, the small teen hugged Shin close, snuggling against his shoulder. Haro was, of course, already fit to go, Sparrow had made sure of that... Well, he probably should get a coat of some sort and some shoes but other than that he was ready. "Just come get me when you want to go," he murmured in a soft tone, as if their escapades were to be secret before untangling himself and sliding off the couch.

"No problem, Kitten," the snake replied in a rather teasing manner, raking a hand through the boy's hair before turning back to plate of unfinished 'breakfast'.
Benji watched the exchange curiously. He rarely saw the snake show any sort of gratitude or true affection for anyone save for the previous night by the lake. Then again, the older man had been nearly suicidal so it really didn't count...
"So it's true, the bad man really does have a soul," the lovebird murmured comically. Wei rolled his eyes, "Okay just because that was sappiest thing you ever saw doesn't mean I actually have a soul," he explained, "But who never know." He said in between bites.

Jin Izuna walked graciously down the sidewalk of the suburbs, felling the feeble warmth of the sun on his face. It felt nice, compared to the freezing sensation on the rest of his body, but he didn't mind the cold too much. He was used to it, although he usually endures it with a nice 'fur coat'.
He was walking aimlessly, just for the hell of it. He had nowhere in particular to go. He was just wondering, like he often did, absorbing the sights and sensations, occasionally hoping to find something above the usual scenery...something extraordinary.

[[@Shinobi: Uh, hey, I don't know if we want any continuity in this rp, but it's actually winter in this setting right now. ^w^;; I know you said a cool wind, but the temperature is somewhat frigid so I just wanted to make sure you knew it was winter. x3]]

Kaya stepped from a back alley out into the simple sunlight. It felt so much different in the sun than it did in the shadows of the alleyways where he did his business with his victims. He shivered from the cold, much more than his rather scant costume would imply. He was a bird after all. He should have flown south ages ago, when the weather first started turning on him. Alas, he had no flock of his own so there really wasn't much of a point.
The fourteen year old boy walked down the streets towards the nearest bank, wondering just how in the world he got away with making such large deposits as frequently as he did. No matter, that. What he really cared about was making enough to purchase land and pay for the construction of a haven for his kind. Young as he was though, even with that kind of money, it seemed an impossibility. He stared into the frigid wind that blew against his skin and walked onward, ruffling his ponytail much the way he would his feathers when they were out of place or when he became to cold.

((Tato, I'm not too sure if you want them to see his mom. I'm not sure whether or not I'm up to RPing emo!Shin. 8D;; I haven't done it to the full emo state in... a while. And even then it was more angsting!Shin than emo!Shin. 8D;;;; THISWILLBEINTERESTING.))
[edit] I take that back. Seems I can RP emo, but not happy. Hope I can do emoShin, tho, since that's different from emoLiao.....
Shin nodded, a soft smile spreading across his lips. He leaned forward and pressed a small kiss to the other's brow before he slowly slipped off the couch, slipping his feet into fluffy, warm slippers so that his feet would not need to touch the exceptionally chilled floor. "I suppose we had best tell Sparrow that we'll be leaving for a bit," he said after several moments of deliberation. "And we should get some warm clothes on because I expect that it has only gotten colder outside...." he added, his voice and expression thoughtful.
((Sorry for le crap. x_X Shin isn't inspiring me as he should. *pummels stupid tiger*))

Liao glanced between the pair, a light flush forming on his pale, damp cheeks. He was... he had... it had been... Wei had comforted him. And he was glad. But now he felt like... like he was on some sort of display. He knew... Benji was nice, or he seemed sort of normal and nice (apart from the hair) from what Liao had seen.... and Wei was... a bit... well, really crude, but he wasn't really mean and he had given Liao a place to stay and... comforted him.... But he couldn't help the cold, pressing thought -- thoughts that always penetrated his hopeful mind, should he ever have one. He had learned to avoid those.... hopeful thoughts. It only hurt worse when they were smashed down by his own consciousness. He turned away from the pair, feeling a sudden, pressing need to be alone for a while.
"I'm going to go... take a shower...." he murmured slowly, his gray eyes flitting up towards Wei for a moment before the fixed steadily back down upon his own pale hands. Even as he spoke, however, he flinched slightly. Water. He... he didn't like water. Not at all. He wouldn't get in a pool or even ever take a bath. But he wouldn't drown in a shower and he couldn't stand the feeling of morning breath covering his entire body. He wanted to wash away the sweat that his heated nightmares had bathed him with through the dark hours.
It made him feel sick just to think about the fear that was covering his body. He could... he could smell it. It had certainly disapated since his initial waking -- and, as it was a useless, imagined fear of someone not with him, the others were likely not to notice -- but it was still there. Still lingering. He shook his head slowly to clear his mind of those depressing thoughts, his bright, tousled hair brushing lightly against his pale skin. And, with that, he took his leave to his room, where he picked out a clean set of clothes (from his shopping expedition the day before) and showered. The hiss of water and thick, heavy steam filled the small bathroom. It didn't need to be hot -- Wei's appartment was like a sauna, after all -- but only hot water could scour away his displeasures.

Kaya sat in his small apartment, his white hair still slightly damp, wrapped up in a bath robe. A hot shower and a wool robe was doing nothing to help keep the sensation of cold at bay. "Ironic, to say the least, but the cold is for the birds..." he mumbled as he reached for the TV remote and turned on his small television to his favorite channel. His favorite Soap Opera was going to start soon and he'd been dying to find out if Pierre was going to wake up. ~What if he doesn't wake up? What will Dimitri do then? Will he go back to Dominic? Or maybe Dominic is already with Dante?~ he thought to himself as he ignored the pointless commercials. Advertising safety was mostly useless for a 14 year old. Like he was getting any action any time soon, right.
He sighed as he made his way to the kitchen and poured himself a cup of hot tea. He really wasn't the way he acted whenever he put on the ruse of Royal. The gambler was just his way of making a living. It was all he was good at, really.
He thought about his dreams lately as he sipped his tea, making his way back to the small den where he both slept and ate. It was just a studio apartment, this place. With a few small adjustments, he'd made it his home. He sat back on the small futon bed and turned his gaze back to his television in time to catch the beginning of his stories. He quickly lost himself to the drama that was television.

[[Okay. Do whatever feels best for you, I don't mind. ^w^]]
Haro tensed a bit as Shin bent over to kiss his forehead. The bird wasn't sure when he would get used to someone getting close spontaneously. He was pretty good at keeping calm when he was the starter of said kisses and hugs, but he couldn't help the spark of fear that shot through his head every time the tiger pulled him close. It just reminded him of Wei sometimes... Although the snake would be much more rough with him, everything was always spontaneous, he never gave the small boy any warning before he hauled off and grabbed him.
Heart pounding fiercely at the thought of Wei, the little lovebird nodded a bit before ducking out of the room in order to calm himself as well as find Sparrow. He ought to interrogate him about dates before he left with Shin... Skirting upstairs, careful not to make too much noise for he wasn't sure if the older bird was asleep or not. Opening his door quietly, Haro peeked inside only to find Sparrow sitting on his bed, looking out the window. Sidling up next to the dark haired teen, Haro smiled as Sparrow glanced at him. "Mmm, thanks," the petite teen murmured, giving the other what was supposed to be a hug but with their positioning it ended up being something else entirely. The older bird grinned, laughing a bit as he ruffled shocking locks of hair. "Anytime," Sparrow said evenly, his smile broadening as the little one flopped onto his side with an apology.
"I have a question," the boy murmured against the older bird's side.
"Shoot."
Haro leaned up and over, pressing as fingertip against Sparrow's temple, "Bang." The dark-eyed teen stared up at him with a perplexed look before cracking a smile. "You're amazing," he whispered before allowing the boy to ask his question.
"Nnm, I ask Shin to...to go to lunch with me and stuff, do you think it was a good idea?" He asked, before letting his hand fall, turning his eyes away as the older teen asked how their conversation had gone. "Did you talk about what I think you did?" The love bird mumbled a 'sort of,' before shrugging. "It was fine though, I think it...loosened him up a bit. I think he--" The boy blushed at this, "--allowed himself to...to do what he wanted for a change."
The dark bird smiled a lop-sided grin, "Ah, so he had his way with you?"
Haro shook his head, giggling a bit nervously. "N-no. We just kissed a lot more than we usually do, an' he kept licking me," he added in a quiet tone before sitting up, "Do you think it was a good time to ask?"
Sparrow shrugged, "Who knows."
Haro frowned a bit before sliding off his bed to search for his coat, After finding it in a pile next to the closet, the teen turned back as he shoved an arm through one of the sleeves, "Well, we're going to be gone for a little while," he murmured before slipping on his shoes and slipping downstairs to wait in the foyer.
"Good luck."
[[Uhm, well... If Liao's going to go shower then I'm not going to rp Wei and Benji for a bit since they'd just be chatting with eachother and they bore me pretty easily.]]

((Same with me for Shin. O: ))
Liao excited the bathroom, his dirty clothes in hand, a small white towel draped over his overly damp orange hair. He set yesterday's clothes down with the other dirty ones in his room (he would have to ask Wei about laundry later). He had made sure, this time, to select a collered shirt and had flipped the collers up to hide the majority of the bruises. It was a long-sleeved shirt, though, and it was still incredibly hot in Wei's apartment so he rolled the sleeves up to his elbows. White shirt and clean, unremarkable blue jeans -- in short, he looked like a normal, clean-cut teen. His usually bright hair was darkened slightly by moisture, making it stand out less. His ears and tail had vanished, too -- he could never take a shower with them out.
He glanced at the mirror for a moment and paused to rake a hand through his tousled bangs and rub the towel slightly more into his hair. He left the room, then, back out into the kitchen.
((Nuthin' much. D: ))

Kaya wiped the tears from his eyes as he got up to go and rinse his teacup. He couldn't believe that they'd actually tried to pull the plug on Pierre. ~I'm so glad Dominic stopped them and talked some sense into Dimitri. Without the two of them I don't think I could stand to watch anymore.~ he thought as he rinsed his dishes.
When he finished he walked into his little den and stripped out of his bathrobe, rummaging around for a good clean change of clothes. He didn't normally do it but he'd actually forgotten to do the laundry this week. ~Crap! I can't believe I got so wrapped up in the outside world I forgot about my own here.~ he thought as he realized that he didn't have any clean boxers. "Guess I'll be going commando til I get the laundry done." he told himself as he grabbed a pair of his favorite jeans. A bit unusual that a kid his age liked bell bottoms but he truly enjoyed them. Just simple denim ones this time, nothing special save for the embroidered flowers on the ankles and the butterfly on the left back pocket. He pulled on a red vest that he liked to wear when ever it was clean over top of a black long sleeve shirt. He sat down and grabbed his boots, which didn't change between street clothes and Royal. The black, knee length ones with the nearly countless straps and buckles. He grabbed a length of crimson clothe and tied the headband on, holding back his white hair and the black, heart shaped bangs. The smaller red heart fell half over his eyes to slightly disguise the mismatched pair of orbs. He grabbed his wallet and keys and shoved them in his pockets as he left his small apartment.
He shivered once again as he stepped out into the cold and headed to a coffee shop he frequented. A nice hot cup of chamomile tea would be good for warming him up while he was out and about.

Jin continued to walk down the street, just observing the area. "I think I should get out of this weather..." he said to himself, shivering and rubbing his arms and walking towards the nearest building.
When he entered the building, the smell of rich coffee and tea washed over him. He searched his pockets and frowned. "Great...no money." he muttered. He went and sat down at a table nearby.

Kaya walked into the coffee shop and looked around, attempting to cover up the ruffle of his ponytail with a sneeze."Achoo!" he rubbed his nose with the back of his index finger as if to try and ward off the cold that caused him to sneeze and offered a sheepish grin to anyone that looked.
He walked over to the counter and looked around the shop."Not very busy tonight, huh Beau?" he asked the man behind the counter."Nope, not tonight son. Your usual Chamomile tea right? Bring it to table four?" he asked. Kaya nodded and walked over to his usual table, only to find it already occupied by another male."Come here often?" he asked as a woman with bright orange hair and hazel eyes came over and handed him a cup of tea."Thanks Merideth." he smiled to her as she walked away. Strange how adult this 14 year old could be.

Jin looked up at the male and shook his head. "Not really." he stated. "I just came in here to escape the weather. I thought about getting some jasmine tea, but I left my money at home. So I'll just be sitting here for a while. Care to join me?" he asked, waving a gesturing hand toward a seat across from him. He didn't have anything better to do at the moment but talk to someone, and at least enjoy the smell of the place.
