"Yuki!" Mephistophiles shouted, rushing forward. Yuki turned to face them. "Are you alone?" Mephisto asked, looking around furtively.
"Yeah..." Yuki nodded. He was standing knee deep in water, staring at corpses piled high around him.

"Yuki..."She stared at him as if he were a vision, if she moved he'd be gone."Yuki.."She said a bit louder. She rushed up to him and hugged him, tears free falling from her eyes.

Yuki said nothing, accepting his mother's embrace, but not returning it.
"Yuki, hey," Mephisto said urgently. "What happened here?"
Yuki stared up at Mephistophiles. "I killed them all," he said matter-of-factly.

Netsubo pulled away from Yuki, looking up at him in schock,"Yuki...but...why? What happened?"

"It was Dad... " Yuki said, his eyes filling with tears suddenly. "They hurt Dad..."
"Faust... where is he?" Mephisto asked suddenly.
Yuki pointed. "They cut him... his face, his body... and tried to get him to talk. He wouldn't tell them anything."
"About what? The Yakuza?" Mephistophiles asked, wading through the water towards the corner that Yuki pointed at.
"No," Yuki said softly. "They wanted him to tell them about me and Mom."

Netsubo folllowed him,paying no attention to the water,"It...must have been the Yakuza..."She murmured, looking around for anyone alive that might attack them.

"Possibly... but, Netsubo, it would appear that a dangerous gang knows about the power that you and Yuki possess..." he hissed sharply. He'd found Faust.

"No! Netsubo, you shouldn't," Mephistophiles said harshly. "Trust me, you don't want to see... it's sick..." he gasped. "Holy Hell! He's... he's still alive..."
"What?" Yuki asked, his head jerking up. "Then.... then you should have mercy and kill him before he has to experience the kind of pain he'll be in..."

Yuki did so, drawing out the crystal. "Mom... I don't know if this will work," he said, shaking his head.
"Should I bring him over?" Mephisto asked uncertainly.
"Wait....." Yuki said.

"Put it this way..." Mephistophiles said. "You could probably carry him in a bag, but you'd be hard pressed to get him on a stretcher..."
Yuki swallowed. "They cut off his fingers first... one by one... and he didn't make a sound. Then, his toes... and then they got mean, they cut his face, and when he still didn't talk, they cut off his hands, and then his feet, and..."
"...and so on," Mehphisto finished. "His head and torso are still together, but... everything else is in pieces."
