Kale smirked as Cayden followed him. "Catch me if you can kid." he stated and sped off jumping the trees.

Cayden smirked evilly. Before the change he was a pretty fair runner for short distance and chasing, so he took the challenge. He sped off into the trees afterr him, following every step of the way.

Kale smirked and went faster.
Knock Knock Knock
The doors to the mansion opened and 7 vampires stood at the entrance. They came in, looking around at all the vampires present.
"Welcome to our home." Talon stated softly.

Cayden saw his movements quicken, so he tried his best to catch up.
kaida heard the knock, so she sat up. Getting up, she went over to the top of the stairs, looking down at the vampires.

Kale kept his pace for a bit, and slowly got faster. "Come on, can't you even touch me?" he teased the kid.
"Talon, it's good to see you again. You're home has become much more occupied since our last visit." an elder named Orion stated.
"Yes, they have all agreed to the rules here, thus are provided a place to stay." Talon replied.
"Enough of the chit chat, you know why we are here." Another stated, but it was one of the elders fighters.
Orion smiled, "Ah yes, the vampire boy and the vampire who allowed it without finishing it off. Where are they?"
"I'm afraid that they have fled. I don't know where they went. Kale took the boy and ran." Talon answered slowly.
"And you allowed them to leave?" Orion questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"No, I didn't. You know Kale's ability. He put me under his control and ran with the boy. I couldn't do anything until he was gone." Talon replied.
"What of his new mate. Where is she? Is she also with Kale?" Orion questioned.
"No, Kale left her here. Therefore I have taken her under my care. She won't be going out without supervision so this doesn't happen again." Talon stated.
"Where is she? I would like to speak with her." Orion stated looking around.
"She has gone into her room since Kale left. You know how newborns plus newly mated vampires get when separated from the other. She is suffering from his lack of presence. So she won't be able to greet you until she feels better." Talon stated. He promised Kale that he would protect Kaida, and protect her he shall.

Cayden, now frustrated, gave his last stitch effort of speed. He seemed to tingle all along his body before gaining twenty miles per hour, inchesf from Kale if his arm was outstretched.
Kaida watched what happened below, actually surprised the elders didn't smell her. She barred her fangs as Talon defended her, not wanting to talk to the elders. She loved Talon for defending her.

Kale's smirked widened slightly, and just before Cayden could touch him, Kale didn't jump to the next tree, but dropped to the ground and ran the other way.
"Really? Then why is there someone with Kale's scent mixed in starring at us from the top?" A female elder asked.
Talon frowned just slightly. "Naturally all newborns are curious when older vampires come to visit, am I right?"

Caydn just kept running but tried to stop. He couldn't as he ran right into a tree. "Oof." He said, smacking the tree and falling down.
Kaida set her jaws, but came down from the stairs. She stopped at the base, crossing her arms and looking at the elders.

Kale chuckled. "You alright kid? Oh wait, I should be asking the tree that since it's the one with the most damage."
Orion smiled. "Hello, my dear. What might your name be?"

Cayden sat up, rubbing his nose. "It just tickles..." He said, watching the tree timber down. He turned to Kale. "I don't ever remember telling you...but I'm Cayden." He said. He then got up and sped toward Kale while he was standing there.
"My name might be Kaida." She said, twisting the words. " Then again it might be Samantha or Crystal." She said sarcastically.

Kale just sidestepped a bit to get out of the way. "I already knew your name from Kaida."
Orion smirked. "A spunky little one aren't you? Come here Kaida, I wish to take a closer look at you."

Caydn hit the ground right next to him and then clamped on his side. "Caught cha..." He said happily. "And I thought it was more appropriate that I told you myself." He said, letting go of Kale.
Kaida didn't like it...like it one bit. But she couldn't defy the elder, so she walked close up to him. Only a foot away, arms still cross, her golden and sharp eyes looked into his.

"Now then, why don't you tell me where Kale is? He can't hide his location from you since it would keep you alive if you tell me." Orion continued unaffected by her eyes.
Kale just went into the kids head, making him let go. "I see."

Kaida looked at him, just as unaffected - power running through her veins. "Now now...I have no idea where he is. I only know what it looks like. And even that changes much too often." She said.
Cayden let go, obviously sad about it. "Yeah." He said, looking at the ground in a head bow. He forgot Kale was really an elder to him, so he shouldn't of spoken without asking.

"Come now, I know you can talk to him. And my friend Judith here can tell if you try to talk to him or not." Orion stated, referring to the female that spoke earlier.
