Eventually growng tired of the hospital wing, she stood, scooping Gregory into her arms. "Come on, Terra. If you're going to go back with him, I'll take you back to that castle too." She waited for Terra to shift back to her kitten-size and also lifted her into her arms.

Returning to The Red Cross, she made her way towards Edward's room. She knocked lightly and entered. Peering in, she was surprised by just how clean the room was. "Wow." She mumbled. "I'm speechless."

Mim walked over, seating herself beside him. "Actually...I've never felt this amazing!" She laughed examining her skinned arm. "This aside, I got to see my son...he fixed my arm so it'd stay this way, but its healed, I promise."

He looked over a Mim. "Do you have any idea how scared I was that I almost didn't make it?" He wrapped an arm around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder. "It's a good thing he didn't put up much of a fight, and that Sergei shown up. I might have lost you then."

Sergei sensed an old friend of his was creating a bit of trouble and he appeared in the hospital and stood with his arms crossed and he spoke, his voice magically filling the whole hospital. "Kat, haven't you had enough fun for a life time?"

Mim smile faded and she rested her head atop his. "Edward...I owe you and Sergei so much." She took in a shaky breath. "You have no idea how frightened I was. If you guys hadn't come for me, I don't know what could've happened." Mim examined her arm, then older scars, puncture marks along her arms. There were more along her neck. "He was one of the vampires from my past. The vampires Gregory's father rescued me from."

"You don't owe me anything." Edward pulled her into a hug, holding her tight. "Lydia, I never reacted like that before. I was scared that I was going to lose you." He looked her in the eyes, his filled with a slight fear that he had.

He reached up, moving a strand of hair out of her face, and letting his hand rest on her cheek. "I was willing to die for you there in that cathedral if I had to.... And if that was ever the case, I would gladly sacrifice myself for you."
