"No we haven't, but thank you guys for your kindness." Ace smiled. Zero nodded also, showing that he agreed with Ace. They walked over to the fire and sat against the wall. Ace scurried off to go find Domeki to see if he wanted to play, leaving Zero alone. Now he would have to be even nicer, since now Ace couldn't say the nice stuff for both of them. Great... he sighed. He continuously shifted his gaze between all the strangers.

Skye took his glasses out of a pocket on his pants. He set them on his face, then pushed the lenses up the bridge of his nose. He sighed heavily and walked into the cave. Nomekia followed in a playful mood, and perched next to Zero.

I wonder if everyone else is alright. Kai thought, sitting quietly in the bushes and shrubbery, which where lite a pale blue from the moonlight. A color that nearly matched his eyes, which stood transfixed on a tall elk. He slowly slid out his sword, creating a gental ringing sound as it slid. It was a chilly night, and the moist dew on the plants against his body didn't make it better. Gentally, he took a crunching step out of the bush, but stopped as soon as the buck elk glanced directly at him. He held very still, but his heart began beating harder and harder, about ready to lunge out at any second. He had no intention of being able to get close enough to use his sword, but rather to lead it blindly into a trap.
A half minute passed, as Kai's eyes narrowed at the Elk that seamed to turn away. But just as he russled agianst the leaves, shifting his weight on his exposed foot again, a loud clatter of blades was heard, starteling the elk. Kai watched hopelessly and angrilly as his game froliced off into the forrest. "Son of a!!!" He shouted, throwing his sword angrilly at the ground. There was a sudden silence in the air. It was enough to make Kai wonder what the heck just happened? He looked to his right in the direction of the sound of faint voices on the otherside of the hill. Quietly, he made his way out of the brush and layed flat against the hillside, then peered over. His sandy blonde hair brushed against his forhead at a calming breeze, bringing the morbid smell of death with it.
A soft cry was heard, as the life left a wounded man on the ground. A large burly man unsheathed his scimitar from the ban in leather and mail. A blend of medival armor, hidden under a brown leather trench coat.
"Remember, not to leave any body unchecked." A young face said, emerging from the shadows. His shaggy unkepted dark brown hair swung gently in front of his eyes. One eye was obviously blind, carrying a soft grey color in it. His clothes where tattered and baggy cloth, that barely fit his body build. Around his neck was a horribly ripped and battered red scarf. Kai realized that from Alen's discription, he was looking at Milo Kurzack. From his broad saber, and his walking disposition, Kai could tell this man was in a far supirior legue compared to the others surrounding him. Including Kai and Yuri themselves.
Their footsteps left the area silenced, save the light blades peircing the bodies repetitively. In Kai's sapphire eyes, he realized that as one assassian aproached one of the bodies, it was still alive. The soon to be dead victim reached quietly into his coat and waited for the bandit assassian to turn towards him. The silence was shattered as a hand gun was pulled and erupted in the face of the assassian. The wounded man rose up and began firing, as two more bodies hit the ground. But he was taken down by one blade after another, as they surrounded him and violently stabbed him. They left the body, horribly rended, but gazing up towards the sky, as if there was still a tiny bit of life in him. But there wasn't.
"Lets go." Milo anounced, knowing that the gunshot would bring others in the area. With out anouncing any details to his men, he stepped lightly and swiftly through the forrest, then began hopping up the narrow path of grey stones. His men obediantly followed.
Kai remained shaken from what he had just seen. He turned back and began walking back towards the camp, glancing around in paranoia. Breathing heavily, but not showing his fear on the surface.

Candy stood next to the cave entrance for a little bit before going back to the fire. She clenched her flute in her hand in a bit of a worry.
Suddenly, she heard a series of gunshots. In a gasp, she ran fifteen feet out of the cave and looked around into the darkness.
W-what's going on? Where's Kai? Is somebody hurt?

Zero jumped a bit at the sound of the gunshots. "What was that? Does Kai have a gun or something?" he asked. He gazed out of the cave, waiting for Kai to come into sight, or possibly someone else. More bandits? he thought. If so, it might not be good. Since Zero didn't belong to any "clan" they might kill him right on the spot. He quickly turned around and began searching for Ace. He wanted to make sure if anything happened, at least himself and Ace would be able to fight together.

Nomekia slowly raised herself off the ground. She quickly followed Skye. Skye made for the entrance of the cave. He walked to Candy and glanced around suspiciously. Nomekia cawed eerily.

Domeki's ears perked up at the sound of a gunfire. Looking up at Taerel, he sat up and began to head to the mouth of the cave.
Frightened, Taerel followed a close distance behind Domeki. She grasped the side of the cold, stone wall and peered out to where the rest of the group was.

Kai heard nearby footsteps. Imediatly, he could identify who they each belonged to. He stepped out to veiw the passage to the cave, to see his companions nearby. Holding his hands up, signalling to go back to the cave, he began to walk to the cave himself. "Don't go that way." He warned in a quick mutter, as he trailed back into the cave.

Candy smiled in relief to see Kai, but nodded and silently returned to the cave. Keeping quiet, she stood next to Taerel. She wondered if the fire should be put out, but didn't act on it.

Amitia woke from the hypnosis the flute song had brang when she heard a gun's voice. She stood up immediately, taking her half bloody katanas in her both hands and staring carefully the entrance of the cave. After a while she saw Kai and relaxed a bit, but didn't let herself off guard, just to be ready in case of an emergency. "What happened?" she asked when Kai reached the cave, without giving up her calm, soft voice.

Kai looked calmly at Amitia, but moved past her, not saying a word. Finally, he took a seat, and looked around the moist cave. "It looked like two bandit groups where fighting. Its best not to get involved." Kai said, trying to sound calm, though he was still shaken by the violence he just saw. He had witnessed murders and killings in the past, but never as cold and silent as this one. It terrified him that people with so much power would so blindly use their power, and follow such a ruthless leader.

Something seemed tense about Kai when he stated not to get involved. Candy wondered what the details were, but knew not to ask. Instead she walked over to the two boars Amitia had hunted, and thought about cooking.
"If we were to cook something for the night," she said with wonder. "Do you think these people would be able to smell it?" She also kept her flute to her chest in wonder if it were too loud.
"And a wonderful catch, Amitia," she chimed with a smile.

"I'm not sure." Kai said honestly, gazing at the fire outside the cave.
((Holy mother of god! That was a horrible writer's block!))

"Maybe we should hang the boars up for tomorrow, then," Candy sighed. "Just to be safe."
Her eyelids were starting to get heavy again. She sat down beside the cave wall and put her lips to the flute again.
I'll play softer than I have... maybe it will calm him and everyone else down.
As soft as the wind she blew, and her fingers moved gently over the notes. She played the same song she did last time, but ever so softly.

Drawn by the sound of a flute, Tyo popped into the cave with out a sound. "My, is everyone alright? I heard a gunshot." He said blankly, stretching towards the ceiling as if he where waking from a long slumber.
Kai looked up at Tyo in a frown. "And just where where you?" He asked, a bit agrivated.
Tyo smiled one of his famous blank, hollow smiles, as he took his backpack off and dumped fruit on the floor. "I thought I would get more respect than that, considering I just heard some one state that you weren't going to cook your meal till tomorrow."
Kai's eyes widened in hunger, as he quickly scurried over to grab an apple, then began eating it.
"Oh, that one's poisoned." Tyo joked, just to see Kai's reaction. But it was less than what he had hoped for. Kai just gave him an intense glare, and continued to eat the apple.
