Kaleb looked at where the fog had been with a curious expression, and then grinned back. "Perhaps you'll be able to keep it around better with practice. I could never keep a book floating for long when I first started working with air magic."

"yea hopefully." She nodded. "Then i can scare my parents with it." She chuckled slightly. It would be fun sneeking up on them and doing that when they werent paying attention.

Kaleb looked a little doubtful. "You shouldn't scare them," he said quietly, and then blushed a bit. "A-at least not too badly."

"Aww .. but it would be funny!" She giggled. "They'd laugh afterwords anyway .... i think"
Vivace would laugh, Requiem would probably snap at her though, and her fathers should think it was good of her to be able to do something

Kaleb smiled lopsidedly, it would probably be okay. With his limited social experience he just didn't know so much about things like that, so he would have to trust her judgement. "I would rather find a less startling way to show them, if it were me."

Kaleb smiled. "You'd have to be able to make a much bigger cloud before you could scare anyone. If you want, we could practice together sometime." Although he spent a lot of time sitting with his books and researching, he also spent hours a day practicing so he could develop the capability for more advanced magic.

"Yea .... we were supose to be studying werent we?" She smiled shsspishly. "But we spent all this time talking."
Practicing would be fun since it would be really neat if she could fill a whole room with fog.

Kaleb's eyes widened, and he blushed brightly. "Y-yeah, sorry about that, you must have really been looking forward to reading those books. I didn't mean to be such a distraction." He looked down at his paws, which toyed with the end of his tail a bit.

She reached over and poked him. "You werent a distraction. I was having fun, sides it gave me the idea of fog."
She grinned as she set her hands on the book in her lap.

Kaleb squeaked a bit in surprise as he was poked, but then blushed brighter before smiling almost timidly. "We did come up with a number of good ideas, didn't we." He glanced over at her book, and then the unopened book still in the bag. "I-If you ever run out of books, you could always borrow some of mine."

"I will do that." Eventually she'd run out of books in the Caslte libary and Kaleb would know which books were better than her on her own. So she'd either have to borrow them from him or have him help her look for things

Kaleb grinned. "When you are done those two, I think I have an old one you might like. It focuses on water magic, but I was interested in it because it has some information about water based shields."

"That would be perfect." She grinned. "Thanks." It would probably take her a while to finish these two books since she would probably try everything they mentioned while she read.

Kaleb smiled back, still with a slight blush to his cheeks. "I-I'm usually around my apartment or at the park here, it probably wouldn't be too hard to track me down whenever you needed to borrow something."
