Kaleb nodded, watching the water bubble in Demyx's palm with fascination. He was tempted to reach out and poke it, but he kept his paws to himself.
He managed to tear his eyes away from the bubble long enough to ask Luxord, "W-when you turn something things into dice, do they all look the same?" He had never seen either type of magic before, and was so curious it almost hurt. The scrawny mage wished he had his notebook, then maybe he could have taken notes.

Demyx stared at what was once his water bubble, poking at it a bit.
"Heeeey....make it change back!"
He had, momentarily at least, forgotten that he really shouldn't make demands of his 'father' like that. It really wasn't polite.

"No. I can make them look different and usually when i turn something into a cark the image on the card is of that thing or person." He had though about turning Zexion into a card and leaving him like that a few times.
Raising his brow he thumped Demyx on the head slightly. "Ask nicely"

"That sounds very useful," Kaleb almost chirped to Luxord, before jumping slightly as Demyx was 'punished'. He fidgeted a bit with his paws, unsure if the others expected a demonstration from him now that they had both shown off their skills.

"Ow!"
Demyx whined, rubbing at his head with his free paw.
"Erf...sorry...please change it back?..."
The younger blonde kept his ears flat, almost ashamed that he had done something stupid enough to require punishment while in the company of Kaleb.

"That's better" He waved his hand and the bubble returned to its bubble form.
"It comes in handy. After someone spends a few minuets as a die they are less likly to piss you off again." He chuckled. "Though. I wouldnt want to make a healer angry either"

Kaleb almost rubbed his head in sympathy for Demyx, but he settled for biting a thumbnail nervously.
The little mage was rather surprised by Luxord's words, although there wasn't a lot that could really mess with him, he couldn't imagine ever using his magic against someone out of anger.

"YAY!"
Demyx grinned happily, quickly forgetting the pain in his head and taking to playing with the bubble once more.

"So easy to please." He muttered and shook his head.
He looked back at Kaleb. "From you're expresion i'd wager that, as a healer, you would be adverse to hurting someone"

Kaleb's eyes widened. "I-I wouldn't ever use my magic to hurt anyone! I just want to heal and protect." He looked away, fidgeting with his paws even more than he had earlier. It was well within his capabilities to cause serious harm to another, but just the thought made him very anxious.

"I don't like hurting people either..."
Demyx piped up, looking away from his bubble which was now in the shape of a heart.
"We did it in the past, and it didn't help us at all..."

"Hurting people never helps. It just happens to be the easiest way people can thing of to get what they want. No one realises it is bad until after the fact." Which could be why they were alive again, but who knew.

Kaleb felt a little knot work itself into hs stomach, why did they need to talk about violence anyway?
Then he noticed the now heart-shaped water bubble, and it distracted him enough to forget about being nervous. Well, almost enough to forget. "Where does the water come from?" He hesitantly asked Demyx, once again resisting the urge to poke at the bubble. He wondered if it just felt like regular water.

Demyx was about to respond to Luxord's statement, but being questioned about his water bubbles thankfully distracted him from it.
"I'm not sure really...I know I can control water that's already around... but if I also think about water being there I can summon it."
Why hadn't he really thought about it before? Then again it never really mattered to him. Demyx just wanted enough control over it to help himself and his friends. That was good enough for him.
The sitarist tilted his head slightly, seeming to pick up on Kaleb's interest in the heart shaped bubble.
"You can touch it ya know...it won't break it, I promise!"
He held his paw out to Kaleb, his usual goofy grin crossing his muzzle.

He'd poked the water bubbles before, they were cold. Deciding to keep quiet he watched the other two. He didnt mind letting the two boys talk, it ment he could just take in the scenery.
