Lake confronted Jerome with a bored look on his face."Hey little bro wanna go hang out at the casino"Lake said as he stared at his money.Lake was crazy over money but he always seemed to be willing to give money to pretty women like Dahlia.

 Kai played around on the deck. Right then she was balancing on the railing walking carefully around the ship on it. She liked balancing on the railing the danger that she could slip and fall at any moment kept it interseting along with the rocking of the boat and the sudden bursts of wind.

 "You know about me then?" Daeh also started to tear up as this was a strange reunion at a strange circumstances."You and Katy go, I got to handle something" Jerome explained as he ran to his room locking himself in.

 "Only what Anya and Orion have told me, though it isn't much." She replied softly, releasing him from the hug so she could get a better look at him. He looked almost nothing like they had described him, he was much much older, but he seemed to have an uncanny resemblance to Everett and Orion.

Lake decided to go alone than maybe he could win some cash. He walked in the streets of Loguetown,the street he was in was a very bad place for kids such as Katy. He walked in a building that had a sign of a women in a bikini.The place was called the Smoker Valley Casino. it was the most popular casino in East Blue. As Luke walked in a he noticed a young man was gambling.He looked to be either 15 or 16. "What is a kid doing here gambling..He seems to be winning as well Luke walked up to the strange man. "Yo whats up,you wanna play me in a game"The young man said as he counted his money. " No,any whats your name"Lake said while staring at the kid. "Name's Uton,but call me Eddie" "My names lake,but call me Lake"Lake was a funny guy but this was not funny it was plan stupid.

"You look alot like your mother Artes. But you have your hair.... I heard your father was a marine."Daeh begun to stutter, he didn't know why but the sound of a marine married to a pirate is very strange, not counting Ferra and James.

Kai looked around the deck and sat down on the railing. Everyone was gone. Kai looked around lonely. What was she going to do now? She looked around wondering what she could possible do to enteriant herself. Jerome was still on the ship so he could still watch the boat. She ran across the deck and jumped off the ship. Boredom was calling for mischief.

"I don't remember him well, all I have is this--" She pulled out a locket that she had never shown to anyone but Anya. It contained a picture of a tall blonde man clad in a marine uniform, with his arm draped around Artex's shoulder. Dahlia stared at the locket for a few moments, her face wore a distant look on it.
"What was my mother like?" She asked sadly, looking up at her grandfather expectantly.

Eddie and Lake talked for minutes and almost and hour. "So your a pirate...I like pirates I've always wanted to be one but all the pirates in this town are scum"Eddie said as he saw a big buff man walk up to him "Hey you cheated on our game you owe me 500 berri"the man said as he prepared to punch Eddie. Lake sneaked up on the man and knocked him out by chopping him in his neck area. "Sorry but no one messes with my friends"
"Thanks.....lake you really are cool"Eddie said while admiring lake's strength and bravery.

"Your mother...oh how i remember her going after my friend Raven. He should be in the marines now as the Vice-Admiral. Your mother seem to be very carefree as she did thing no normal person would. She always seem to like her privacy and she only opened up to Anya and Fayth..."Daeh continued to talk about the past until he realize he was going to far. "I'm sorry, old man logic" He started to laugh, a good laugh since the last time he saw the Lanam's.

"No it's okay." Laying her hand lightly on his shoulder, Dahlia smiled at the sight of her grandfather's laughing. She almost felt as if she'd known him for ages. Her mother sounded like a wonderful person, if only Dahlia had known her.
"What brings you here?" He had to have summoned her for more than just a little chitchat, not after years of not seeing her.

"Hey wanna join the Crescent moon Pirates?" "Sure....as long as there is money and adventure!"Eddies was a greedy/adventure loving kid. Lake took Eddie to the ship and wanted to introduce him to the crew.
"Eddie our crew is pretty much full up devil fruit users except for one girl.her names Dahlia she is pretty cute and i think she's 16 or 18."Lake said while stealing eddies money.

Kai ran around the market place bumping into people. No one really seemed to notice a girl running around. Then again a lot of child were running around the market place. This was a little funny.

"Listen Doll, you must understand to never listen to others as you should follow your heart."He twisted his head as he heard some strange whistling that only he can hear "I must go now goodbye Doll" With that he was gone leaving his intentions unclear. His real intention was to warn her of a possible capture by her own dad as he had talk to Raven about this.

Normally, Dahlia would've punched someone the moment they called her Doll. However, this was her grandfather, so she wouldn't dare. "Bye..." Her voice trailed off, he disappeared into the crowd, leaving her there by herself. "Probably should head back now."
The girl slowly made her way back to the Big Bang, her hands would be shoved in her pockets if she had any, instead they fell limp at her sides. Boarding the gangway, Dahlia took little notice of Lake and his new companion conversing on deck. It would take her a few minutes to regain her witty attitude, so, she leaned against the railing, thinking of why her grandfather would have left so suddenly. "Follow my heart, eh?"
