Xagetta watched as Sarah died, yet no tears were shed, she was human and though she had done wrong he did not cry for her. Strange, considering the ball fest he gave Chains when he killed those people, and now this woman died right in front of him and not a single tear fell from his eyes. Oddly enough how ever, her words brought a sense of peace to him, a sort of ease and hope. Yeah he was a monster, but a monster is defined not by his heritage or his nature, but his actions. Chains was the true monster here, he did everything by choice for power and infinite knowledge, not realizing the true price of what he paid for. Just like Akino, Chains was seduced by the mark's powers and its promise, he had forsaken every thing that should have mattered to him. If it was a destiny he sought, it would find him, even if it was not the destiny he expected.

Bringing his thoughts back to the matter at hand, Xagetta played Sarah's words over in his mind, specifically about forgiving Vincent and and all his wrong doings. That was almost laughable, still it was her dying wish. Forgiveness is not given, but earned. This was a truth that even he could not escape, of the thousands of innocent people who Chaos had killed, there was bound to be some one related to them who wanted revenge. It was only a matter of time. As long as hatred remained, the cycle would not end, blood would continue to be shed innocent or otherwise. He took a step forward to Vincent, he knew if the cycle was to end, then it had to start some where. "I'll make a deal with you. If you promise to keep your vow to her, and not hurt a single person or me and my friends, then I will remove that mark. But until you have proven that you are worthy of my forgiveness, it will remain on you for as long as it takes you to do so. Am I clear?" He held his hand out, not in a threat but in trust, he wasn't about to make friends with Vincent after all that he did. The fact that he was willing to cut a deal with him, was miraculous enough for one day.

((Oh, another thing I forgot to mention, the mark is on his chest not his back. Just a reminder.))

Normally Xagetta would have been offended, but right now he understood, in fact he even smiled in about it. Vincent was willing to endure the full weight of the curse, as a way of penance, it was literally his cross to bare. Already Xagetta could see a change in Vincent, and maybe even a little hope for him. He had lost his love, but had gained a new will to tame the monster inside him, she paid the price for his redemption. He turned to face Vincent before he would leave. "Very well, if that is what you wish then I will return the curse to you, as reminder that your actions have consequence. When that day comes, you are more then welcome to fight along side us, but until then live a life worthy of her sacrifice. Make it so that her punishment is not in vein." With a wave of his hand, he returned the curse's power once more, but left it at that. That's when he heard the howls from the 4th floor, immediately he knew something was wrong. "Edward.." Quickly he ran towards the building, which surprisingly let him in easily, Chains' magic was gone. He climbed the stairs in a hurry to find the others.

It took a moment for Takeshio too snap out of it, but finally he did. "Huh?" He looked down at Grimm and said "Sure." He lifted him up, and steadied him. "Lets get moving..." Takeshio spoke quietly as he helped him walk toward the door. The howling was over, the explosions, the flying glass, and the man with chains-they were all over. This was just the beggining however. There was too be more chaos coming soon, and he could almost smell it. Why should he care though? He was done.

Sakura stared down at Sarah's now lifeless corpse. Her eyes then moved back to the broken glass. Her mind was on overdrive but at the same time nothing came to it. Only emptiness. Chains was gone and they were commanded to stay here. They weren't allowed to know who the victor was. Either way the outcome would be fatal. Sakura glanced up and all that came to mind was: what now?

Envi jumped back slightly when Xagetta jumped out of the building. Her eyes shot towards the sleeping werewolf on his shoulder. For a split second she thought it was Ryu. Meaning he was the victor until he spoke. "You'd consider Ryu dead a good thing?" Envi asked in an almost disgusted tone that was barely audible. Not that she cared for Ryu but the fact that she knew him and all that had to go on. It was hard to find sympathy for Edward after knowing what he did. "That was James damn fault. No one needs to teach him anything. No one taught Fang, and no one taught my sister. If he's as strong as HE thinks he is, then he'll be able to handle it on his own." Envi stated, suddenly running past him and the others up the steps to meet her sister.

Cole came up from the ground. Just the top part of his body was revealed as he crept up, near James. He looked up to Xagetta "Now would be a good time too kill this little d**khead huh? Sadly I'm under orders not too show you hostility." He jumped up and stared Xagetta right in the eyes, with his calm and grinning face "Comrade Kukichiyo understands alot of things have happened in the past hours, you've all suffered from some trauma or whatever-main point: We'll leave you alone, give you all some time too recover. But after that-I get too kill your little friend James. Well? you gonna say something? Better say something nice or Comrade Kukichiyo may change his mind. Well?" Cole was hoping he'd make the mistake of saying something stupid, so he'd get too kill him and James right there "...Well?"

Cole's appearance surprised Xagetta, especially with James still in his arms. The fact that he said he wanted to kill James, almost made him want to drop James, and slaughter this punk right now. Unfortunately as long as James was a sleep, he was vulnerable, and right now he was in Xagetta's care. "Make another threat like that again, and he will be the last of your worries. Get out of my sight, if you no business here, then leave us be. Your time will come, and by then he will be ready, and as for your comrade. Tell him Im ready when ever he is, after all, a demon is always willing to fight." After that he walked right around him, and headed for the caves.

Takeshio got too the final floor and walked out the door. There he looked up too see Sakura, who was the only one there at the moment. It was a moment before he said anything, but then "I'm going to bury his body next too Seth's...Are you coming along?" He didn't wait too answer as he walked past her, heading too his destination.
