Ok so in the middle of finals...i'm not going to bother searching I'm just confused...  That egg above is fogged...i did not hide it. Its still has like 5 days before it hatches. And this afternoon when i looked (as with the other 3 eggs on my scroll i got on the same day) it looked like it was getting ready to hatch (ie big hole stage). Tonight after getting halfway through a take home final i decided to check on my babies and boom my guardian egg is fogged. i hid and unhid it...still fogged...WHY?! i have raised like 16 other dragons, so i'm a not a noob. Has anyone else had this happen to them?! It doesn't have softshell...i hope it still grows up! I'm worried and i have finals to worry about too... answers are welcomed for less stress....

Here's a few:
1.) Seasonal dragons bred together give you seasonal dragons no matter the current season right? Example: 2 summer dragons produce a fall egg.
2.) If a dragon egg has a gold dragon, silver dragon, other rare types in it's ancestory through the parents, does that give one a chance at gaining a gold dragon or silver dragon through breeding? o.o

Ski Bum Mynx - Your computer may have pulled the prior image from your cache. If you unhide an egg and the fog doesn't dissapate you may need to refresh (F5) the page. If the lag on the cave is very bad you may need to leave and come back. Sorry, that's not much, but it's all I have.
youngshorty - 1. Two seasonal dragons will only produce season eggs, if they produce any.
2. Ancestory does not matter. Parents only determine what kind of egg could be produced. Grandparents and beyond play no part in getting a specific egg,

Okay..sooo like a mom's a fall dragon and a father's a summer dragon, but it's winter and they produce the winter egg....? It can happen? o.O; And...the only thing determining what the eggs will be is just the parents alone?

My Summer parents have produced Autumn eggs and I expect them to produce Winter eggs when the time comes. An Autumn mom and a blue dad will only produce Season or Blue eggs if the produce anything.

How to I get special Dragons, like Vampire Dragons or e.g. this special looking black one?
Is there any thread, where such things are explained? Didn't find one ...

I believe you are referring to Alternate Blacks. There are two alt black hatchlings and one alt black dragon. There is also an alt dark green hatchling and dragon. The only way to get them is to breed them or pick them up on the abandon page. It is now luck of the draw. You used to be able to tell they were alts because the egg was darker than the regular. Now the eggs are the same color because they are the same breed and you have to wait until they hatch to know if they are different.

So how does the green alt hatchling look like?
I know the Adult dragon, but never saw an Hatchling looking different.

I looks pretty much the same as the regular. The colors are different. You might want to take a look at serene38's scroll. I believe she has both frozen hatchlings.

I try to find the happy and the sad place.
After a lot of research, I found out the sad place seems to be the graveyard, but what's the happy place? It isn't the wilderness, is it?
just found this clue "Well...it's the opposite of the sad place. So...where do cute little babies go after they're born? ", but I think my english sucks and I do not even know such place in my mother tongue.

Windona Can someone post a list with what eggs turn into what adults? That is pretty much against the rules of the game. You can look at the Egg Sanctuary and get a pretty good idea.

Ok, so I decided I didn't want one of my black eggs anymore so I went to abandon it. But I got this message "You cannot abandon this egg because of popular request."
Is anyone else getting this message or is it really just me?
