Patchleaf walks up to her kit. "You kits need to stop talking about Silentstorm behind his back. It's not nice." She meows softly, her eyes warm.

After following a normal patrol route with Duskkit and entering camp Ebonywhiskers padded into the nersuery to look for his kits. Not seeing any of them around, he padded back out just in time to hear Patchleaf's comment, after hearing Tearkit's excited reply he came up behind them. He nodded to the kit and said,"I'm sure that you will make a fantastic apprentice and an even better warrior Tearkit." He smiled at her before padding a few feet off and signaling that he wanted to talk to Patchleaf alone. Once the young kit had left he wispered,"Would you like to mentor Tearkit? You don't have any kits left and can become a full warrior again now." He looked closely at the she-cat and wispered,"Skystar hasn't picked mentor's yet but I could put in a good word for you about Tearkit."

Blackpaw had nothing better to do so to keep from dying of boardom he went over to the nersury to play with a few of the kits. He quickly spotted Tearkit and meowed,"Wanna play?" The she-cat wasn't that much younger than him, only half a moon, so they were well matched.
