Fahriel quickly takes to the air and levitates as the rock he was on crumbles, causing him to sever his connection to Rhone, who was cringing on one knee in pain.
So...we have an interesting one here....well come on! If you mark me as your enemy...come try to stop me!
he raises his hammer into the air as it crackles with purple lightning and fire. Soon his entire body is coated with a purple aura of mana.

Rhone slowly gets back on his feet and materializes his red katana from his exsphere. Zelos, who had been sifting through the memories of his own "betrayal" draws his Stiletto, but when Rhone charges at Fahriel, Zelos doesn't join in...but instead block's Rhone's blade.

What the HELL are you stopping me for, Zelos??
Because what if he knows something we don't? Maybe he has a good reason!
Yeah, or maybe he just STABBED US IN THE BACK!!

Soon Zelos and Rhone were locked in a flurry of clashing steel.

((Holy sh? eek ))

Before his eyes Oro thought he had begun to see the collapse of what was supposed to be, this worlds forces to fight along side himself and his brother, "No," Oro went to his knees head in his hands, "this is wrong." Friend against friends and allies, allies turned enemies, "this is totally wrong!"

Schwarz had knelt down to try to calm his now mentally unstable brother, "Oro come on don't think like this. We have to do something or they'll kill themselves." His voiced was somewhat panicked, if Oro lost his sense of being here... Schwarz didn't want to think of it.

Schwarz's words were not reaching him, in his head Oro was beginning to lose all hope. A white glow had started to form around his body.

Raine stepped beside Kratos and Sheena. Looking between Chiaro, Fahreil, Zelos, Rhone, Darren, Cerberus and now Oro, "I think we have a big problem here. And It's beginning to get out of hand." she stated bluntly.

((I thought I might as well. This is sort of turning into a battle royal. sweatdrop
Can anyone guess what Oro's 'snap feeling' is? xd ))

Fahriel merely smiled at the attacks thrown his way. After dodging the fire and the gunfire, he turns towards Chiaro and charges at her with his hammer, creating an after-image effect on himelf.
FOOLISH WENCH! DO YOU NOT KNOW THE POWER I WEILD??!!

Rhone jumps back and looks at the battle above him.
You're right. I've gotta try to stop this...stop her....I still have a good amount of mana within me...let's see if it's enough...

He quickly transforms into his demon form and takes to the sky while Zelos presses his blade against Kratos'

Dammit old man! Why did you stop me! This could all be a ruse...what if he's trying to save us??

((err... I was going for depression, but what ever floats your boat Azura. wink ))

Schwarz wolf ears perked after hearing Kratos began to try again, "You hear that Oro, Azriel is going to die if we don't do something!"

"...let her die..." Oro didn't look up as he spoke.

"Wha--what?" Schwarz heard this come from his brother only a handful of times.

"I said let her die," Oro looked at his twin with glazed over eyes, "they are going to all die eventually. Why not n-" Oro was punched in the face.

"Cut this crap out now Oro! I won't let you just sit here and let go of what we stood for!" Schwarz didn't wait for a reply and punched him again, "I don't want to see you go down that path that Marv and Rox went down!" Schwarz got up and walked between his brother and Chiaro.

Oro got up hanging his head, "Like those two? Like hell I turn into those fossils." He looked onward at the fight with new determination.

Schwarz threw a chain at Oro who grabbed it. He then summoned a second chain, began to swing it above his head and said, "Got to time this right."

Chiaro had a twisted grin for a moment, blatantly letting one of the beams hit her. Yes, she had to deal with knockback again, but taking a hit of light energy...actually restored some of her own. As a being of light, she could absorb her own element. After that, however, Chiaro's rage only seemed to increase. Her target wasn't letting up like she wanted. The longer she had to put up with him, the more she was growing irritated---she just wanted him to die already! She readied her axe, and with a push forward, charged in a straight beeline toward Fahriel at amazing speed, leaving a long trail of light behind her in the sky. "HYEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" she shrieked, all the way thorough.

Kratos deftly dodged a beam himself, unfazed. Seeing that Rhone had been severely hurt, he took a moment to cast a "Healing Wind!" in his direction.

Sheena had barely dodged one herself. Fear gripped her for a moment, but she regained her composure and began to hate how grounded she was. The fight was in the air, and she herself couldn't fly. There was only one thing she could do at this point that would have any significant effect, and that was to summon. She began to think over who in particular she should call out.

Once the seraph was through with his spell, he looked back at the former Chosen and replied, "The original intent. We defeat Fahriel. As he seems to be the target of Azriel's---"

"Chiaro," Sheena corrected, "This other side of herself is named Chiaro."

"...Chiaro's rage, perhaps she will calm down once we achieve that." He unleashed his wings and began to rise into the air, thinking that if Chiaro's hit connected, he could catch Fahriel from behind.

Sheena nodded, finally settling her thoughts on the Summon Spirit Origin. He could deal massive damage, and if that still wasn't enough, his "parting gift" of providing an aura that enhanced the attack and defensive powers of the party would be useful. Taking a clear spot, she trained her eyes on Fahriel. A large, circular glyph of glowing white appeared beneath her as she began her incantation.

"I call upon the source of heaven, earth, and everything in between..."

((...Is he supposed to be gone? 0.o;; I'll edit this if need be.))

With a higher threshold for pain than Azriel, Chiaro allows Zelos' Thunder Blade spell to hit her, and continues plowing toward Fahriel only minutely fazed. Meanwhile, Kratos continued his attempt to close in from behind.

D...Dammit! Is he trying to get away?! Sheena panicked in her mind, irritated that the incantation took a second too long. In a last ditch attempt to nail Fahriel, she followed through and let him loose. "...the Ruler of All; come, Origin!" The King of the Spirits appeared off to the side of Fahriel, pointing all his weapons at him. A triangular cage of lightning appears around him, and many bolts started to jump about while he was trapped inside.

Sheena hoped she was able to get to Fahriel before he phased out...for if he escaped, they would be left with Chiaro still in a temper tantrum. She didn't quite want to imagine the rampage that was to follow if that were the case.

((Y'know...if that's what was supposed to stop her, that ain't exactly gonna work. sweatdrop ))

Having overheard Rhone, Sheena said to herself in a low, regretful tone, "...So I didn't get him after all." She looked to the sky anxiously, wondering if Chiaro knew the same.

Origin vanished as the after-image of Fahriel finished dissipating, leaving Kratos and Chiaro directly in each other's path. They both clashed in the air, the former blocking and edging off the latter's axe with his blade.

"...You're not my target. Get out of my sight," Chiaro growled.

"...It's over. He's gone now," Kratos replied, knowing full well by now that Fahriel was gone in the sense that he had escaped rather than died. He was checking how Chiaro perceived things, which he was about to find out in a moment.

"But he isn't dead, is he?! IS HE?!" she spat back, her crimson eyes blazing. She turned away from the seraph, not wanting to deal with him any further and waste time. "Treachery is most unforgivable...the traitor must perish... He can't have gone far!" She flew off, scanning over the rest of the mountain range. She proceeded to charge another Luminous Laser and fire it into one of the smaller mountains. Fortunately, it was completely uninhabited...because the power of her beam blew it up. "TINA ELE-WI ZE-TIS RYA?! LI-FE LU TSE-RI RYA-IA!" She landed upon the rubble, pounding away crazily for a more intensive search.

Kratos and Sheena's eyes began to fill with surprise, the latter moreso than the former, as they watched the out-of-control light-being's destruction from afar.

"D-damn it! We've got to stop her before she reaches a town or something!" Sheena cried out.

Kratos didn't need her word. He had already given chase to Chiaro.

"CHIARO, LISTEN TO ME!!!" Oscuro screamed desperately in the mindspace, clutching Azriel tightly, "This has gone too far!!! We...we'll lose her if you keep this up!!! Do you really want that?!"

Unfortunately, even her screaming was drowned out by the noise and rage.

((...Kratos is still in the air. He wasn't anywhere near Sheena. xd ))

"I'm afraid we might... I just hope things don't get too out-of-hand..." she answered worriedly as she continued running.
