"Blaze, why are you hosting monsters in your house?" Sy said out of the side of his mouth.
"Uh, it's a long story."
"Shouldn't we go find your parents?"
Blaze looked up with a worried face, about to say something, when a brown-haired woman in her thirties walked through the door, carrying a bag of groceries. She hummed to her self while staring intently at a receipt, totally ignoring her unusual guests. She walked over to the kitchen and placed the paper bag down on the counter. She stood there mesmerized by the slip of paper in her hand. Blaze was standing horrified at the awful suspense that was induced by her fear of scolding. Sy shared the same suspense, for he came from a fairly large family and dreaded such lectures. So in the end, there where two minors standing in a corner and a mother standing like a ticking bomb-ob...
"...the prices these days..." She mumbled.

"........" Rose just watched the woman come in, if she was anyone else Rose would have said something. But Rose guessed that the woman was Blaze's mother-and that was the last person Rose wanted to get upset, Rose liked being able to hang around Blaze, she didn't want Blaze's mother to get in the way of that. Ah, snap.... Rose blinked and looked over to Blaze.

Blaze pointed to the door desperately, and hoped that they would all get the message. Sy held open the door and made a lets-get-out-of-here-NOW motion with his arm.

Rose got up and quietly walked over to the door with Blaze and Sy.

The General got the hint and grabbed an arm full of toys and scrambled out. "!!" He said. He turned around and grabbed the rubber ducky. "♪" He quietly cheered as he walked out.

Sy quietly shut the door behind them and turned to Blaze.
"Ok, could someone please tell me what is going on?"
"But she's gonna find out real soon about the..."
"Gah! Fine, don't tell me!" Sy stroked his chin for a second. "Do you have any duck tape?"
Blaze shot Sy a confused look.
"I'm kidding. Why don't you just go in, and brake it to her softly that there's a gang of monsters in her house."

"...I think I like the idea with the duck tape more then that. But I guess she will find out at some point.." Rose said and sighed. Rose turned to Sy, "And just because we're evil doesn't mean that we're monsters." She said and crossed her arms.

The General, who had nothing to do with their conversation. At least in his mind he thought he didn't. He just wanted to play with the duck. "Hmmm..." He said thinking.

"Really, I always thought of you as sort of a good guy... kinda..."
"Fine, fine, whatever..."
Sy opened the door carefully, as to not make any noise. They quietly stepped inside. Blaze walked up to the woman and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Uh, could I talk to you about something..."
"Oh, yeah, sure, sweety..." The woman looked up from her receipt at Blaze. She immediately hugged Blaze. "Where have you been?! I was so worried! You didn't run away did you?"
"Uh, no, I..."
"Oh, it doesn't matter! I'm just glad you're safe!"
Sy flinched. "Poor Blaze..."
The woman let go of Blaze and looked up.
"And you brought, um, friends?" She asked, obviously holding in her discomfort.
"I think... so..." Blaze said quietly, not sure if she'd classify them as friends.
"I should have bought more groceries..." She looked over towards Sy. "Would you like to stay for dinner?"
"That's Ok, my mom needs this sugar." Sy headed out the door.
I sure hope Blaze will be Ok.

Rose over looked Blaze calling her a good guy, she walked back in to meet Blaze's mother. "Bonjour Mrs. um...uh..." Rose remember that she didn't know Blaze's last name. "It's very nice to meet you.~" Rose said and took a bow, "My name is Black Rose." She said and smile.

"You don't have to bother with the Mrs. You can call me Ariane, dear." She smiled. "Any friend of Blaze is a friend of mine."
She turned to Blaze.
"...You know you will have to eventually explain this... But I'll let you off the hook, just explain it when Herve gets here..." She went to unpack the groceries. "...Which hopefully won't be anytime soon..."

"Alright, well then it's very nice to meet you, Ariane.~" Rose said, she was trying to be as nice as possible, which was somewhat hard for her to be with someone she didn't know, especially adults.

The Count smirked "miserable right to know.. bleheh.. lovely for you to look down on everyone despite the fact that your name reminds me of the sound people make when they have something lodged in their throat.." He glanced up- great- something else 'lovely' worth- Blazes mother.. He tipped his hat down slightly- he wasn't completley certain, but, something about his blue skin and non-existent body seemed to creep most people out.. He glanced back up at the woman- the likely-hood of her not having seen him was pretty low.. "bleheh.. the pleasure is entirely mine, madam.." he said, pulling off a graceful bow, and, for once, not being obnoxious in the slightest- and maybe, just maybe, being polite enough for the woman not to start racing after him with a pitchfork... ((*winces* argh- long post- sorry- that happens when your writing a long-short story for school... sweatdrop ))
