[[o__o;; Okay.. Um, but where did he go?]]

A short chuckle left the young royal's lips at the other's frank response. Clearly, this knight loved his food. Hopefully, such a information would be to Ruehl's advantage in some way. "Right, right," he agreed, raising a forkful of mashed potatoes to his lips.

"So... I had wondered, since it seems you know some things about the commander that I obviously do not..." he continued carefully, "How would you feel about a chat over strawberry pie? In fact, I can be sure Jup makes you... however many strawberry pies you like depending on what you could tell me." Bright eyes now seemed to avoid Xel's dark ones.
[[Peyton sort of got pwned so he's with him. :3]]

Brown eyes narrowed lightly. Did this prince think he was smart? Top secret information (of which he had little of, Haar was a man that kept many things to himself) was hard to buy, especially from him. Disregarding his previous flirting with his father's group of henchmen, Xel was relatively loyal to people he chose as friends.

Then agin, it was strawberry pie, and he highly doubted that anything the little prince asked would be too secretive.

"I do think I'm ready for dessert," he murmured with a slight grin, setting his fork down without a sound.

And Rosaline, again, turned, his expression clearly showing the troubles of his conversation with the elder princess. "I -- yes, of course," he said, obviously quite frazzled at the moment. But he wiped that from his features as quickly as was (in)humanly possible and instead filled the space with a bright, if hesitant, smile and he seemed to force himself to relax, his shoulders lowering slightly.

He took the few steps to the door - closer to the other - and waited for whatever was to come.
Sylvia didn't bother to suppress a sly smile as she gestured for her dress fitter to return to her. She turned her back on the pair and settled her eyes on her own reflection and watching them exit by means of using a mirror.

As soon as the flower was close enough, Muertian's hand reached out to grasp the other's. With a steady tug, he intended to guide Rosaline from the room and proceeded to walk through a series of archways until he found a more subdued area-- at least where servants weren't milling about. There, he halted his strides and turned. He didn't hide his little gift of the rose; rather, he looked down at it a moment, took a breath, and replaced his hand in the other's with the flower.

"I hoped perhaps you'd like pink best," he murmured, now rumpling his blonde locks in almost a nervous manner, "But I can take you back for any color you like. Does it please you, Rosaline? Do you like flowers?" Bright eyes searched the pink-haired boy's countenance in hope for a positive reaction.

Rosaline followed the other, his expression showing a deffinate curiosity. Just what did the prince have in mind? He certainly... He didn't know what he hoped for. He didn't want a situation (like Sylvia seemed to insist there would be) where he would be forced to reveal himself.... but, at the same time, he hoped almost desperately for some sort of excuse to continue... whatever it was that happened around the other - talking, walking... simple enough things to begin with.

He glanced down at the flower and, almost immidiately, his eyes were fixed on the small, silky fragrence.

A rose... and a pink one, at that. How... fitting. A nervous blush filled the roses' cheeks and he glanced back up at the other, a small smile on his lips. "Yes, I do like flowers," he murmured slowly. His gaze returned, inevitably, to the rose and he only just barely kept himself from wincing.

The other had no idea of just how painful of a reminder he had given Rosaline.

"Thank you..."

It took the Dark prince a moment to realise what the other was talking about. "I need to find him." It could have been anyone... but Sayael had a pretty good idea about who him was. And, if he wasn't mistaken, Faryn most deffinately seemed concerned.

The prince shook his head slowly. "I'm sure he's fine," he said after a small pause. The truth was, he wasn't sure. At all. But he didn't really want to say that to the other... Not only did the Death prince look quite distressed, but he had also been known to curse anything and everything that displeased him (not that Sayael was afrad... he just figured they were in aenough of a predicament as it was).

"As for plans... I'm afraid the only future I can see is swimming. I know roughly where land is... and there should be boats furthur in towards the coast... I hope.... But I suppose it would be best to find the others first. What do you prefure - shouting or swimming?"
Not fully reassured, Faryn's eyes scanned the dark waters, poorly reflected in the moonlight. He frowned, unable to see anything; not even a silhouette of something...

The furrow on Faryn's pretty brow creased further at the prospect of the two unsatisfactory options. Swimming? He was already tired! The idea of shouting seemed unbecoming of him...

Oh well. He'd take the latter-- he was wasting time. "Shouting," Faryn replied before asking, "So on the count of 3 or something ?"

"Exactly. We have to unify our shouts... or it'll just end up sounding something like 'Jijilidaxian' or something garbled like that, you know?" Despite their current circumstances, a small grin flitted onto his lips as he glanced at the other.

Even in this other Nation without magic, Darkness was deffinately a strong play in the Dark prince's mood -- and the water did something for his Earth blood, though not much.

"Alright... so first we'll scream 'Jillian' and then 'Dax,' alright? Three... two... one...

"Jillian!! Dax!" he called out, eyes scanning the horizon.

"Jillian... Dax...." He heard the sound and, although it was made faint by distance, he managed to make out the words. He glanced around, trying to find the direction it had come from...

There...

There was something... something... strange. Something that told him people - and another person off in some other direction... And the three of them felt... familiar.

But, farther off, he could feel the pull of many people - all of them strangers.

He refused to think about this new 'sense,' however, and began to swim out in the direction of the voices -- the direction of those familiar people -- and called, "Faryn? Dax? Sayael..?"

Alti looked up, glad for the change in subject - for a distraction, any distraction. "I... think it starts on Saturday. So two days from now.... But it lasts for three weeks, this year.... The Light people always seem best at lengthening any sort of celebration..." he murmured thoughtfully, although it wasn't something that was really of interest to him.

"I'll be... playing in it, remember? So I'll be there... probably most of the time, if not all...." he added after several moments of silence.

It was getting later by the moment, and Haar knew he couldn't stay in the teen's room until the festival. He'd probably go insane for a myriad of reasons he didn't wish to explain. "I don't suppose your mother expects me to escort you the entire time. Although I would love to skip out of duties for three weeks, I don't think I'd have a job at the end of everything if I did," he murmured with a faint smirk as he eased himself up, propping up his sword against the wall. Besides previously mentioned reasons, the soldier realized he'd better check in with Allora. Unfortunately, the young man just didn't feel right. Most would think this occurance was obvious. It wasn't everyday someone was poked apart by arrows. Although Haar knew that could be a factor of this feeling...it wasn't all of it, he was sure of that.

"So, you're not very good at healing, right?" He had been ready to leave the room, lingering in the doorway in order to find the boy's mother. Breathing harshly, the brown haired male slid down slighty, leaning against the wall with a clearly pained expression. "Can you...can you at least try?" He asked, glancing at the boy, red eyes glassy as he clutched at his side.

[[Nnnmm, sorry this took so long. ._.;;]]

((zmg. o_O))

Alti glanced up at the other, wondering why he was bringing up -- oh. He only got it when the other continued and when he... his side, it... "Y-yes, I..." he began, and then bit his lips slightly in frustration. He wasn't exactly sure what to say... But he would try. He would. It might not... make... anything better, but.... But would would try.

"Could you... lay down? On the bed, so you don't stress your side..." he mumbled, eyeing the other's expression of pain -- and his movement, which had caused it. Sitting down would likely squeez the wound... or something.... And being upright would probably put too much stress on it. Maybe. he thought.

But this was, for the most part, guess work.

"Here, I'll help," he murmured, taking the other's arm (to allow him to lean at least some of his weight onto the smaller teen) and helped him over to Alti's tidy bed (a servant had obviously been in to straighten things out after the boy had left).

((Annddd... I'll give you some room to decide for Haar before any magiccrap happens. O: ))

[[Are you amazed that I actually wrote a Haar post? n_n;;]]

He hated being in such pain that he had to resort...to this. Carefully, easing himself down on the teen's bed, the young man ground his teeth together at the movement. He felt...better, now that he was actually on his back, but getting there had...been painful to say the least. Pressing the back of his hand to his forehead, Haar frowned as he stared at the rather...flustered-looking teen. "Wait. Are you sure...you're okay? That you can even use your magic?" He asked almost gently, red eyes wavering a bit as he tried to hold onto Alti.

((No. I was just like 'zmgHaar'sgonnaDIE!! D: ' because, you know, no one asks Alti for healing. For a good reason. xD;;;; ))

A small frown penetrated the boy's expression. Lips pursed, he muttured, "Just be quiet, alright? It's hard enough to try and concentrate without you... talking...." Leaning over the other, one knee placed on the bed for ballance (he was beginning to feel slightly light-headed again and his rosy cheeks showed this quite obviously showed the strain of being bent-over), he began to tug the other's shirt out from his belt.

Having accomplished that, he pulled the material back until the wound - the opened scar - was revealed. His frown grew deeper and he ran light, cool fingers on the skin surrounding the scar.

He glanced back up at Haar and murmured, "You shouldn't have been moving so much..." His tone was very... very concerned.

He then returned his attention to the wound, his fingers brushing softly against the tissues that were attempting to heal, to knit over the spilt blood. Alti... wasn't great at healing magic. But he could try and help, if anything.

His bright eyes fluttured to a close and as he began to gradually poor healing magic into the other's side, his head began to dip forward slightly.

The magic was cool... but warm at the same time. Like a breeze... or like a candle. Or both.

((EDIT:
Allora would totally spazz if she saw this. >.>;; ))

[[Eeep, I was talking to my family and eating lunch, sorry. x3]]

Haar wasn't sure how his talking would do anything... He was good at being quiet though- for the most part anyway. He thought he was good at being silent, but as Alti (no matter how gently) yanked up his shirt, the young commander couldn't quite hold back a curse. <********, that hurt. He wasn't aware if he said it out loud or not, but the mutter definitely rang clear in his mind.

Shifting slightly under the teen's touch, Haar frowned at him. He didn't exactly like people taking care of him. Ceris and...- Ceris and K- Kae...could testify to that. It wasn't that he didn't appreciate the help, it was more that fact that he didn't like being so weak that he needed help. "If your mother...or you wants to keep me from moving... I think you'd just have to tie me down somewhere," he murmured gently with a faint grin, keeping the shirt up with one hand as Alti continued to try and help.

Upon noting the slight bend of the teen's head, Haar nearly panicked, sending his mind into a whirl as he reached for the storm native's hand. "Hey, don't go...outdoing yourself." He could have easily followed up with a 'I don't want your mother killing me,' or...even the overly sentimental, 'I don't want yougetting hurt because of me,' but those were just too sappy, and frankly his head was spinning and he couldn't think so articulately.

[[Buwahahaha~ She would. x3]]

Alti's orange eyes snapped open again and his lips pursed in a small frown. "Quiet," he murmured, although his tone wasn't exactly gentle. It peeved him when Haar wouldn't shut up for his own good. "You know I... don't try this stuff very much. And I'm not very good at it. So I have to... concentrate...." His bright eyes snapped to a close again and as he slipped back into the right frame of mind, he accidently prodded the skin near the wound none too gently.

One eye opened again and he winced visibly. "Nnn. Sorry..." he mumbled, flushed. He wasn't used to this. The wound had already begun to heal over (although it was a slow process, even aided with magic), but was still very tender.

He concentrated harder, this time not holding back. The sooner this was over, the better. His free hand was gripping the blankets to prop himself up (he was deffinately feeling light-headed now).

Haar frowned slightly. He didn't need the kid passing out on him. He really didn't need that, but if Alti said he was okay (which he hadn't) then...the soldier supposed it'd be okay for just a bit more healing. He only needed it healed to a point where he could breath without it hurting so much.

Noting the boy's hand, the commander almost made a comment, but held back. He supposed the teen could just be concentrating hard. Just what the boy was concentrating on he wasn't sure...

[[Wow, that sucked. ._.;;]]

Alti, after several minutes, had reached his limits. The scar was closed now and... and healed more. And it looked a lot older than it was... but it was still there. And it would probably be sore..... But it was better -- much better -- than before.

He sat back on the bed, his hand retracting to lay in his lap as his other one was still propping himself up. "Nnngh..." He cheeks really were very flushed, while the rest of skin seemed... paler. Now it was his eyes that appeared glazed.
PostPosted: Sat Jan 27, 2007 11:42 am

Haar almost yelled at the teen, angry that he hadn't listened to him. He figured yelling at this point would do no good. He didn't want to rip open his side again... Shifting very slowly onto his uninjured side, the brown haired male frowned deeply as he fingered the boy's shirt lightly before yanking him downward. "Go to sleep before I knock you out," he murmured in a less than teasing tone.

Alti scowled slightly and winced as he was pulled down, the motion off-setting his headachy condition. He might have retorted... but at the moment he didn't feel up to... arguing... He...

He was feeling light-headed again. So, aftera moment or two, he nodded slowly. He really was... fatigued. And Haar was obviously very determined.

"Nnngh... doesit...feel better?" he asked, his words slightly muffled by the bed sheets. He was having a hard time keeping his eyes open, but he was determined to stay awake until Haar answered.
