Fluke missed!

She spun like a top, arms outstretched towards the sky. A strange, light-pink sheen glittered in the air, manifesting around her body. She'd spin again, crashing towards the earth as the energies swirled around her. She was bringing down the house!... and bringing down the atmosphere, given this was a somewhat unusual use of Gravity.

The Tailow hissed and spat, practically vibrating with anger. >Why I outta--!< But she couldn't just attack mindlessly... not yet, anyone. She gave a wordless cry before soaring up as high as she could. Hoepfully, the Chamander couldn't touch her there.
The attacked missed as Fluke's outstretched claw remain as he twirls quickly around. In a move with one leg outstretched as if it was a bow. A smirk was on his face.
"Fluke, hide in your shell."
Sometimes a dance is hit or miss, but this was a miss as he bows out and quickly retreats into his shell as he felt the pressure. Neither trainer nor pokemon was sure where she was going with this, but for the moment it was always best to beat a tactical retreat.
Besides, it's rude to cut in ...in the middle of a dance.
They attacked quickly and without warning, neither pokemon being able to avoid. Raiden fell to the ground, but still had life left in him, and Pansear was hurting. Alex pulled out both pokeballs, returning the pokemon to them, trying to make a break for it. There was no way to win the battle at this point, and he wasn't about to risk his pokemons' lives.
You did damage calculations for the Pansear wrong. It's [20-16] + [8-6] = 6 DMG Pansear 1 HP remaining Edit: Both attacks missed! Alex is free to move forward!
As Alex would retreat both Diglett would look at each other and then power up once more. They were both in agreement as one aimed to Scratch at Alex and the other aimed to Headbutt him as he was retreating.
Years of practice and training paid off. The Taillow was fast but his Charmander managed to avoid.
Takeshi grinned. It was a feral show of teeth. The bird was trying to get away? That was no fun. The pokemon lunged aiming to Bite down on the bird. The crushing of bones, the feel of flesh in his jaws and the warm taste of blood had the bloodthirsty Charmander eagerly attack!

The pokemon loved the thrill of the battle and had a high energy level along with a certain bloodlust. Curious, Gin watched as Takeshi deemed the pokemon worthy and so the shinobi caught her.

(Where did I get 19 from...? Oh well, thanks for catching that.) All Alex heard as he ran was the wisp of attacks. Part of him wondered how Diglett was able to use scratch, but he kept moving until he was in the clear. His pokemon were in rough condition, but he still had to keep moving.
The Snorunt watched as the blade of air sliced through her. It was a light hit but the Pokemon still let out a giggle. That kinda tickled! More, more! The small ice Pokemon turned to look at Lucy straightening out her face and then trying to Leer! It was hard to take her seriously when she would let out a giggle or two in between.This seemed more like she was playing a game and having fun rather then battling!
Trapinch...Alex wanted to get one, but his pokemon were nowhere near the condition for battle. He could always return when they were stronger. For now, he proceeded forward.
As Alex would continue forward, a Pokemon would spot him and step into the open. It was a Slugma! However it wasn't yelling a challenge at him like some of the hot-tempered Pokemon before her, but she was would have an intelligent gleam in her gaze. It was going to be a battle for the boy! She was ready to test out her strength and knowledge to see who was better!
Another slugma, but this one seemed to be ready for a fight. Alex grimaced, but sent Pansear out. "Alright, Pansear. Sorry bout this, but we'll need to fight to proceed." Despite being low on strength, the monkey cracked his knuckles, getting ready. "Alright, start it off with Focus Punch."
(This will be my last reminder for you but you do have a healing item for your Pansear. At 1 HP for a battle, it has a very high death rate. But you can only use the item during your attack turn.
The Slugma would look at the Pansear curiously. He looked weaker then she had expected. Not her problem. A battle was a battle. That in mind, she would try to duck away from the Focus Punch!
The hit landed, and Pansear bounced back, watching the Slugma carefully. "Alright, keep an eye out. Gonna get something ready." I know Raiden won it, but things don't look good... He began to get the oran berry from Raiden, getting it ready.
