Raedou scowled.
"That's not funny!" he growled, "Be gentle with them, Hashmal! They're frail!"

"B-But..." he whimpered, "The children..."
-----
Raedou noticed Perrault's epic fail and stepped in.
"Princess, we are not leaving until all of these children are safe with us." he said, "Until then, you will have to wait."

Calisto hated to wait, and more so hated being ordered around. However, these people had saved her from this place, so she rationalized that she owed them this much cooperation. "Fine." She said, and rooted herself to the floor. "I'll wait here."

As Jaeto snored, he was completely unaware that desert marauders had swooped in, taken anything and everything of value (including Jaeto's hidden teddy bear), except for Ackune, who was too heavy and uncooperative to risk attempting to steal without rousing Jaeto.

((Luckily Raedou keeps all of his magic items in his pack, which is currently on his pack... A teddy bear?! rofl ))
Raedou sighed and shook his head. He then turned to his allies.
"Make note that I am issuing a big giant caravan directive." he said.
He turned back to the princess, picked her up and slung her over his shoulder.
"Let's go." he said to Hashmal, up to his arms in sleeping children.

The princess beat Raedou's back with her fists (which of course, accomplished nothing). "Put me down! Put me down! JAETO!!" She screamed.
"Raedou Ganzi, you should be ashamed of yourself! That is NO WAY to treat a princess!!" Farfarello scolded. "You of all people should know that!"

"Oh, shut up, bean sprout." said Raedou, "Go pick up as many children as you can."
The Ganzi did not even feel Callisto pounding on his back, for she was pounding on his pack instead.

"Okay..." Hashmal said, disappointed that the Ganzi didn't find the Human Fali fruit funny... "Let's go. ...And princess?" she pointed a clawed finger at the girl now facing her, "I'd stop that if I were you, otherwise I'LL have to carry you." it helped that she was still dripping blood from her hand.

((NO! Reply on RftS! REPLY ON RFTS!!!))
Farfarello grumbled and scowled, knowing there was absolutely nothing he could do. The demon was now faced with another problem; how many children would his scrawny, powerless, malnourished body be able to handle? In an attempt to cover up his weakness, he said, "No way; they shouldn't have been throwing rocks."

"Agreed demon, but you can always find ways to get vengeance later." Hashmal called back before grumbling, "I know I will..."

Jaeto (and the caravan) were still outside the prison... wherever exactly they were at that. Jaeto snored like a baby as the completely empty and devoid-of-food caravan sat, tied to Ackune.
~
Ephlas continued down the spiraling stairway, his magical spell guiding him to what must be some sign of life.
~
Dakon was resting in the cabin of the quickly moving Sand Skiff, full trust in Aria and Vinn, his companions. And then there was Diine who, like all elves, apparently, tended to be somewhat whiny....
~
Helenne started at Elmire's question. She had no clue how to answer it. There was the truth, and then there was a lie. Helenne decided which she would rather respond with, and stated slowly, "Because they desire power, I would think."
Her four comrades, fellow Knights of the Birds of Prey, said nothing, standing alert and focused.
~
When the spy finally arrived, Bael and Telgove awaited his or her information.

((It'll be fine. They'll just eat Fire Bannock until they reach the city to restore their supplies. xd You know, it would've been hilarious if they carried Jaeto away, too... rofl ))
Diine felt like nothing but a nuisance to these people. He curled up outside of the cabin door, not wanting to disturb Dakon. If only Emerelda were here... then he'd have someone to talk to.
-----
After several minutes of Callisto's kicking and screaming, Raedou finally made it to the point where he had fallen into the hole. He then pulled out a strand of Wrapcoil and slung it upward, where it immediately searched out a nearby rock and jolted towards it, wrapping itself tightly around it. The Ganzi then hoisted himself up onto the wall and slowly climbed up to the surface. -----
Ralendine chuckled quietly.
"Because they, too, desire power." he repeated, "A fine answer."
He then turned around slowly, facing the five knights, examining each of the oddly-dressed warriors.
"Felicks." he said, "Reveal yourself."
At that moment, Felicks fell from the sky and landed behind the Duke, his eyes glowing blood-red behind his mask. The Duke stepped forward.
"This is my ally, Felicks." he said, "He will be accompanying us on our crusade."
Felicks remained silent. He stood perfectly still, watching the slightest movements of the Birds of Prey.
