Derrick Rutledge Be Phoenix Wright. Then I'll be Miles Edgeworth. And we'll make fan-fictions and yaoi. "Phoenix Wright had let himself go, but the slight rolls of skin were no obstacle. He took the ready Miles Edgeworth with no OBJECTION." Oh yeah

Its own site? o.o I'm all ears! And willing to help (almost*) wherever necessary!
*monetary assistance may be tricky and does not necessarily apply.

Cmon. You should know me well enough to know I would build everything from the ground up :p
As for the site, there will be more info once I have it. But here is what I have so far.
Account Profile (Customizable to a degree) Friends List (Or block list if you don't want to hear from certain people) Short diary (similar to wall posts on facebook)
Chat (or RP) Live room based chat (most likely corresponding to the rooms of the HTC) Private room chat (Only available to those invited or to your friends)
Forum Similar to what we have here
Galleries Rate images thumbs up or thumbs down Restrict images to friends, or age groups (if adult content)
Ill keep you guys updated. We are still in our planning stages, so if you guys have anything that you would want on a furry site - let me know!

Dark_Dragon_Bagera This is new,an HTC stand alone site? What brought this about and what will it be like? Simply put, the Gaia forum system is a mess...

Interesting, and it probably would be nice to be free of some of the gaia ToS,such as not being able to advertise any rl art shops and such.I would love to do fur parts commissions. Also being able to have the option of adult content is nice. However, what would become of our guild here on gaia?

The guild would keep going.
And yeah that was another thing I was thinking about adding to the site. A option for furry artists of any kind to sell their wares on my site without having to deal with payments.
With the company that I work for I have learned a lot about online payment systems, and I think it would be pretty easy to develop one of my own. Of course for non a digital medium - the artist would still have to worry about shipping.
