Dyteiq put his word up to defend against the strike. If anything was beginning to surprise him, it was this. The attack was enough to push him aside. He felt it, her consciousness fading for another. What was in her, unknown."You have lost yourself, Crystal Child."

Dyteiq fired bolts of lightning from his hand. It did little to nothing. She barely even flinched, and continued to attack. He watched as the flames dissipated near his feet, then back at her...

"Likes the winds, you're here but for a fleeting moment." This power of hers was not yet trained, and as such, not the threat he thought it would be. Her shaking, disorientation, it was all proof of this.

Dyteiq continued to bide his time and wait her out. And thus, she fell. There was no sign of this...other self anylonger. From her bag bounced the the world ring. He picked it up and looked at the sleeping Nina.

"If this what you want, then so be it." Kneeling over her, Dyteiq place a hand over her chest. Not only did he heal her of any injuries, he gave her visions.
Visions of a Revenant's return. The world turning to darkness, her family stoned, and her fighting not only Revenir, but a silhouette of Revenant.

"You will not be able to stop this without help. To you I bestow my thunderbolts. You have proven yourself worthy of my trials." He said to her during the flashes of her vision. Once he was done, he placed the ring on it's altar and transformed back into the thunderbird. With a caw, he flew around the temple and into ring, restoring it to it's former glory.

With it's restoration, Quintu calmed. The frequency of lightning as well as it's intensity fading. Elric and Eloquin quickly hurried up the steps to the altar, the barrier finally gone.

"Nina!" Elric headed over to her and held her in his arms. "Nina, are you alright? Come on cousin, speak to me."

Elric shook his head and smiled. "Yep, she's going to be okay, alright." He said to Eloquin, their companion wasn't so certain of that however. "If you say so, Elric..."

She turned to the altar, looking at the glowing crystal ring. It was no longer just a silver crystal with yellow undertones. It was sparkling white and yellow, glowing with power. "The world ring of Quintu, I don't believe it, you've done it..."

"We couldn't help but see it. It was huge, and I couldn't even help you because of that stupid barrier." Said Elric, he sighed and slowly helped her to her feet. "So, we're done here, right? Lets go find our kid cousins..."

Meanwhile...

"I think this is the place, Dimmer Shimmer, right?" Asked Benjamin, the store he was looking at the moment was named that. It's logo was a firefly carrying a ring.

"It can't be that hard, right? The one we had was silver and kinda yellow. We just need to look for one kinda like that." He said looking at the one in the window. It was silver like the previous one, yet it was kinda purple too. "I have a good feeling about that one."

"Oh, that one? It was brought here by a digger, found it on one of his digs. Says strange creatures stalked him, I've had no problems myself so perhaps he was just him making a myth out of it to increase it's value." Said the shop owner.

The owner blinked, leaning over to Fara's ear. "A couple of years back. I'd say three years after the Orbis merger." He whispered to her.

"Fara, what are you up to now?" Whined Benjamin. Couldn't she take this seriously? It was only the fate of the world this decision was left on.

"Well, after what you said..." The shop owner crossed his arms. It would take more than that to scare him. "5,000 gil."

Benjamin groaned. "Sis, we don't have that kind of money on us." He said to her, he then thought of something. "Are you willing to trade?"

"Sure, why not. What do you got for me?"

"Hold on." Benjamin turned to Fara. "I can sell off my bow and arrows. I can always make another, what do you think?"
