Angel scooted out of the room and to Riley, and hugged him. "Are they mad?" she asked meekly. She'd heard a fight, but didn't know what it was about because she was scared.
Just then, the Librarian exited her room, and smiled cheerfully at the cute girl and the actually rather handsome boy, and she could tell there was something off about the girl and put on her glasses, which were tinted pink, and peered at the couple. After a moment, she declared, "You're pregnant and a vampire." She nodded to herself, believing her diagnosis to be absolutely correct, and walked past them. She was rather hungry.

"I'm sure if we can find a way to give you eternal life, then we can probably fix that problem too." Van said pulling Mala into a comforting hug.

"I don't know. It went better than I thought, that's for sure." Riley said as he moved away from the window he'd been watching out of. "I think I'm only dead meat if I try to be an a*****e and high tail it out of here. Which I don't plan on doing any time soon, even if I have no experience raising kids at all." he said scratching the back of his head with a sigh.
"I guess it's about time to collect couple number two, remember to by a map this time, and shove on out of here."

"Taking care of feeders is like taking care of babies," Angel said. "Only you don't bite babies to make them stop crying. I remember mommy taking care of me when I was a baby, so I guess I know something about it." Suddenly, she lifted her dress and pointed at her stomach. "Look! The baby's growing!" Indeed, she was showing a bit.
Suddenly the Librarian yawned and decided to find somewhere with books, and as such gathered her things in her bag, which was, naturally, bigger on the inside, and then promptly leapt from her window, which was actually not a bad idea because it wasn't a high fall to the ground. She then wandered until she found a place of learning and entered, promptly grabbing as many books as she could hold (which was a significant amount) and took them to a table, opening the first one. Her finger trailed quickly down the page, signifying where she was, and she was all the way through the first book's three hundred and twenty-four pages quickly, and promptly went to the next one, ignoring her surroundings.

The Recorder was gathering books from the pile his employer had ordered him to copy, when he saw a woman reading books at a very quick speed. An impossible speed, in fact. A speed he hadn't seen since--
"Librarian?" he asked.

The Librarian jumped. "Oh! Oh..." She paused, recognizing a Time Lord, but she didn't remember him. "Oh... my memory got a little messed up during the crash. Um, who are you?" She was prepared to flash her psychic paper and say she was whoever she needed to be.

"Oh, of course you wouldn't remember me! I've regenerated a few times." The Recorder scratched the back of his head. "I think I've been here for quite a while. I'm the Recorder; does it ring a bell?"
Rincewind yawned, and kissed Val's forehead. "Wake up, beautiful..." he said, in the most sultry tone he could afford.

The Librarian smiled cheerily. "Oh. Somewhat... I suppose. Hello." She offered a hand. "Did you escape before the Time War started? I almost didn't." Her eyes flickered to her book, taking in a page, which she turned.
"Hey, baby." Val yawned and kissed him slowly, then murmured, "And please don't use that voice again. Just shag me awake, sweet."

"The Time What?" The Recorder asked. "I've been here for, oh, six hundred years, I believe. Seen the strangest things, and this suit," he added, "is one of the strangest."

Mala nodded. "Yes, let's get the map first though. As soon as we get near the other two, annoying drama will probably ensue that will distract me from all else." she suggested, seeming to be quite genre savvy at the moment.

"Oh." She smiled. "So, that's where you went. Well, um, basically, there was this massive war. All the time-traveling species, including the Daleks. I just packed up and left as fast as I could... never been one for fighting. We were really becoming bastards, last I heard." Librarian gave a tiny shrug. "And I know what you mean... I've looked into the Untempered Schism and this world is still frightening to me!"
"Mm." She nuzzled his neck and kissed it, then yawned. "I'm kinda hungry. I think I'll go look for feeders..." She let out a soft groan as she got up and got a dress on.

"Good gods, you'll be due in a week at this rate!" Riley said, eyes widening in shock at the developmental rate of a baby vampire, or even half-halfie or whatever Angel called it.
"And here I thought we were the drama magnets of the party." Van said with a chuckle as they began to walk.
