Oh that sounds fun....
he lets his wings out as well and takes off right behind Azriel.
Oh, I'll never catch up this way....
he changes himself into hos partial demon form and speeds up drastically.

Azriel felt a draft beside her as Rhone managed to sweep past her, startled for a moment.
Oscuro snickered. "Oh hell, are we gonna let him get away with that? How about a bit o' the Resonance?"
Chiaro scoffed and shook her her head. "Childish games are not ideal times to use the Resonance."
Oscuro lightly smacked her upside the head. "Aw, lighten up. Don't you think he's technically cheating a bit, enhancing his own abilities? I say we even the playing field."
Not feeling up to continuing the argument (and silently agreeing with her anyway), Chiaro sighed resignedly, faced Oscuro, and grasped her hands. The both of them began to focus, making their auras surge within Azriel, providing a neutral, empowering energy.
Azriel's eyes began to glow along with the jewel on her collar. The load in her hands suddenly felt lighter as her strength increased, allowing her to fly faster. Her being vaguely felt like she was three people all at once.
"Neener neener neeeeener!" Oscuro's voice taunted from Azriel as she finally caught up to Rhone and passed by just a couple of feet. The mischievous delight expressed on that face was more Oscuro's than Azriel's. It swiftly changed into one of seriousness and annoyment as Chiaro's voice followed sarcastically, "Oh, that's real mature..." From there, it changed into Azriel's own expression of apologetic embarrassment as she simply sighed.

Rhone laughs and adds a little more power from his exsphere to catch up and stay alongside Azriel
I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch that. ^_^
He looks up and sees nothing but sky. Turns out they had already passed the summit.
Uhh...oops....Perhaps we should focus more on just GETTING TO the summit. ^_^"
he stops in the air and slowly descends feet first.

The three of them noticing the same, Azriel stops abruptly and begins to descend as well. As she touches ground right after Rhone, Chiaro and Oscuro begin a small argument. Azriel's facial expressions changed according to theirs as they spoke through her; Chiaro being the more stoic-looking ones and Oscuro being the slightly annoyed and snarling.
"You see, your foolishness made her lose the race anyhow."
"Aw, sh-shaddap. It was just something for fun, y'know?" There was a twitch in Oscuro's voice, and the tone was enough to tell she was a little sore about losing.
"...Was it?"
"Grr..."
"All right, Resonance OFF," Azriel herself cut in sharply, expressing embarrassment once more. The glow in her eyes and the jewel on her collar faded away, her presence feeling like a single person's again.

Rhone laughs at the argument Azriel is having with herself. When she is finished he looks at her and smiles.

Azriel set the bars she was carrying down by her feet. "Hahah, alright...just tell me what goes where and how."
The group traveling along the path were about a quarter of the way up the mountain by now. So far, the walk had been uneventful. So far. Sheena glanced around alertly from time to time, keeping a lookout for anything that might attack the party. She had seen creatures here and there, but when left alone, they were generally uninterested in bothering them.
((Anyone wanna make a monster appear? xd ))

Well first we need to set these bars down at 90 degree angles to one another.
Rhone sets down his two bars in a 90 degree angle on the ground. In the process, he accidentally knocks his left glove off, revealing an ornate gold ring on his left ring finger.
Whoops....
He reaches down and picks his glove up off the ground.
I should be more careful with these things...

Schwarz was getting close to the top from his climb, but he was panting, "Man this is tough... without my aura." He whipped his brow before continuing the rest of the way up.

Oro's ears where darting back and forth looking for any sign of trouble, his eyes were darting around as well. Raine noticed this and spoke, "You don't have to be so on edge, you know. Caution is one thing but this is boarding paranoid."
Oro looked back at her he was slightly drooling, so he wiped his mouth, "Sorry I'm just hungry."
Raine looked puzzled, "Now that you mention it, why do you need to eat and drink, aren't you dead?"
"technically yes, but I was reborn."
"Re...Born?"
"It would take a long time to actually explain right now, so I can't really do so."
Farther up the path there was a furry boulder blocking the path.

As Azriel set down her bars accordingly, the gleam of Rhone's ring caught her treasure hunter's eye. She became curious about it, trying to draw conclusions. Worn in such a way, it was obviously a personal memento, most likely tied to the memory of a significant other. Noticing after a few seconds that she was staring, she shook her head and spoke up, "...Right. What else now...ah, the others have the rest of the parts, don't they? I wonder how they're holding up..."
Back down at the path, Sheena noticed this "furry boulder" as well and examined what she could see of it, concluding that it was something rather bearlike, and sleeping. She could not recall the name of the species, however. So much for a trouble-free walk, she thought with a sigh, not feeling quite up to dealing with the creature. But it appeared there was no way around it. Still, looking for measures as peaceful as can be, she turned back to the group and asked, "Well, guys...what do you propose we do about this?"

Rhone notices Azriel's stare and he takes the ring off.
This is something Aurelie gave me years ago...you can look at it if you want. ^_^
he then hands her the ring and begins looking through his coat. he takes out a tube of some strange foam and sprays it in between each metal bar, sealing them together and forming a very large, square frame.
That should do it...

Cinkel tilted his head sideways as he looked at the creature, "Wake it up and hope its not aggressive." He seemed rather annoyed by this turn of events.

Azriel held the ring close to her eyes, examining it intricately. She was impressed at how its color and shine were kept bright, considering how old Rhone was. She admired the ornate, elaborate designs etched on it, and when looking at its inner side, she noticed a carving that read as "R+A"."Aurelie, hmm...?" While Rhone applied the foam that would hold the frame together, she held it in her closed fist so as to not lose it by accident. When he seemed done, she handed the ring back to him. "It's a beautiful ring, if I do say so myself."
Yeah, like that's any help... Sheena grumbled in her mind over Cinkel's suggestion, How can you not expect it to be any aggressive... She pulled out a few cards from her side, and with her right hand, picks one out to throw it at the creature and nick it in the side.
...It seemed to have not much of an effect. The creature didn't even stir.

Keeping his hand on the hilt of his jagged blade, Cinkel walked up to the creature and poked it with his hand, "Is this thing asleep or dead?" He seemed even more aggravated as the beast didn't seem to notice him.

Rhone grabs the ring, places it on his finger, then slides his glove back on.
Yeah, I gave her a ring first....although hers was a bit more expensive than mine was.
He smiles as his mind drifts back through his memories.
Then again, engagement rings are supposed to be expensive. ^_^"
He then lifts the frame for the portal up and sets it against a rock.
There...that should do it.

Fahriel was clearly annoyed by the creature blocking the path. He stepped up towards it with his hammer in his hands.
Step back...I'm going to take care of this...
He raised his hammer high above his head in preparation to strike.

Oro sniffed the air, "I smell three things not one..." As if in response the once one fur boulder turned into three and growled as they stood up on there back leggs and jumped up farther away so they wouldn't so they wouldn't get hit by the hammer.
"Were-Bears..." Raine stood back behind the group and readied herself a support for the wounded.
Oro stepped forward summoning his swallow, "So who wants to get bitten first?" All three growled and beckoned the group to attack them.
