"We could try," sighed Faust. "How long has he been dead? I need to know, because if it's been awhile, you might not want to see his remains."

Faust shuddered. A week? He'd almost rather raise a half-rotted corpse, or a skeleton, because they looked somewhat inhuman. "OK, so the decay shouldn't be too bad yet. Where is he buried?"

WIth a fight in the morning, Faust wasn't anxious to waste furyoku on a pleasure raising. But he'd already agreed. Following Netsubo, he began running through his earlier lessons in Necromancy, physically demanding but simple. A fast for forty days, for instance. That one had lost him his job at the hospital. And later, the exercises of strength, endurance, and will to live. The blood-letting might have been the worst of those, simply because he could feel his life literally draining away.

"No, I said I would," sighed Faust. He wasn't about to deny someone the chance to see a loved one again, even if only briefly and falsely. Especially him, of all people...

"There's a reason necromancers get a bad rap," he said carefully. "I just think that you should know."

"Well..." Faust tried to think of a way to put it delicately. "Necromancers aren't like other shamans. We're not meant to just work with death, but actually personify it. One of the hardest things about being in this branch is the constant state of near-death a necromancer is in. We can't eat more than enough to keep us alive, we can't sleep... although with nightmares, it's not usually a problem. One of the initiation rituals is a blood-letting, where a prospective necromancer literally bleeds until he's barely alive. And then he is buried, in a coffin, for four days, with nothing but a loaded gun. By the end of the first two days, even if you've taken very shallow breaths, the gun is extremely tempting. By the fourth day, if you're still alive, you're allowed to move on in the process. I suppose that the ends justify the means," Faust shrugged. "You did ask."

*she shrugged*"guess i wouldnt make a good necromancer then...i dont like being in a near death state constantly..."*it didnt seem to have fazed her. most believed that she was a demon herself from the way she acted, the coldness she had towards others lives...that was her rep..she didnt care..let them believe what they wish..*
(are mephisto-sama and beezlebub-sama going to appear in the rp too? *hopeful look* lolz)

((lol, maybe! We'll have to see if there's a place to work them in!))
Faust raised his eyebrows. "Um... yes, of course it's all no big deal..." if her reaction was so subtle, he shouldn't act like it had been difficult. "How much further?"

Faust gazed down at the flowers. They were already wilting; such was the transience of life.
"I need you to stand clear," he warned. "If the other corpses hear the call, they might rise, too..."
