Manual labor. They have us doingmanual labor. Life sucks. Brenia thought. During her whole life at Cithri, she had never had to do any real laber with anything other then her mind. the teacher, whats-'is-face, Shidith, was not helping either. He was constantly degrading them with a smirk on his face showing them his pleasure at making hie students do this idiocy. Jackass was what Brenia thought.That's not very nice. I'm sure he has some good trats. If he does, he's doing a beautiful job of hiding it.
For this conversation, Brenia had momentarily stoped working. Shidith mercilessly cracked down on her. "What do you think your doing, slacker? get going! The whole class has practically finished by now, and you've barely begun!!" Leaving her with these words of kindness, he moved to his next victim. Jackass.

Sora finally pushed the rocks all the way to the woods, and collapsed onto his back, breathing in the sweet air as if he had been underwater. Terra? he called out, wanting to feel his dragon's warm hide against his skin. This place is torture, he said as she came and lay down next to his heaving body.
Well, unless you learn the magic words, you'll be doing this for a long time, she said, as she noticed that several kids had already been ushered out for using magic.

Sora stood up, faltering from the task. His breath came in heavy installments, and he had to make Terrana walk just so that he would stay upright. He approached Shidith weakly, hobbling to try and get to his good side. "Sir, can I go now, I moved all the," Sorani paused to get his breath again. "Rocks," he said, finishing up his sentence. "And I'm too tired to do anything else," he said, doing his best to hide a slight smile behind his gasping mouth.

Alianae pushed the stones one last time and was at the trees. She smiled and wiped away the sweat dripping into her eyes.
Wonder what's next.
she stated to Fira, before walking over to the clump of students gathering around the teacher.

Tarrin leans against a tree and wipes the sweat from his brow. Gasping for breath after what he had done. he looked around and saw that several other students were still pushing with their feet. he then looked at instructor, wondering what to do next...

"Thank you," Sora said, sacrificing a breath for the words, then walked back to the building, and sat down against the wall in the shade, with Terra next to him. Was that hard little one? She asked him, but he would have bonked her on the head for asking that, that is if he wasn't so tired.

The stones that Brenia was holding in her feet seemed to grow heaveier each time she made a trip. To her joy, she discovered that she only had three more stones to move. And that everyone else had finished and wandered off into the shade. Humph. Stupid people. Not fair. Quit whining and get the job finish, slacker! Hey! I'm the one lefting all the stones, and you're just sitting there in the shade. you could help. I could. But I'm not going to. There is a reason behind these idiocy. Coulda fooled me.
The teacher called to the few remaining, "It's the afternoon now. You might want to try to get some food from the kitchens over there before your next class." He pointed at a medium sized wooden house with smoke coming from the chimny.

((I did to post!! look above steel thunder's post. I made a niceiness thingy. And the excitement is about to start assoon as you get to the next class which is swordsmanship. That's when steel comes in. It's after lunch next to the lake. Do what you wish with this information. maybe you and someone else can have a duel during the night. you have my ok of that as long as you don't god mod.))
Brenia had finally finished the task. The sun was well over head as she headed to lunch inside. The meal was a bit of bread and cold soup. Once again her raced to eat everything in front of her as quickly as possible.

Eoghan saw an odd girl sit down accross from him on the table and asked himself Now why is she eating her food like there is a horde of Urgals coming to roast her over a spit and she's trying to give them a good meal? Then he looked around and saw that all the students were eating the same way. That is very odd, he thought as he ate another forkful of...

Alianae started to eat slowly. Having lived most of her life here, she was used to the strict regime the Dragon Riders kept - the scribes had to stick to the same schedule.
She finished her meagre fare and heads outside to the lake. The next lesson was to be held here. She had always attended this one to note down the acheivements and faults of the students, dictated of course by the instructor.
Alianae sits down under the shade of the tree and waits for the others to arrive. She strokes Fira.
So how have you liked Shur'tugal training so far? Fira asked.
Alianae looked at Fira.
Is that supposed to be sarcastic? Because I suppose it's alright Fira. Fira..Why did you chose that name anyhow?

Alianae shook her head dismissively and stood as shew caught sight of all the other students straggling down from lunch. The instructor was not far behind.

Eoghan had finished his lunch early (which was at the same time as everyone else), and was told 15 minutes before the class started that his first class was next. He hurried down to the lake and saw Fundor winging over the lake, so he asked him, What are you doing? I am looking for a meal to have. Why? You can just get some food from the kitchen. I do not need humans to assist me in gathering or preparing my food.Alright, whatever you what to do. I forgot that you hate "being fed". Eoghan looked away from his friend and surveyed his "classroom". The willow tree and the rowan tree by the lake gave it a very peaceful appearance, and he noted the stony gound and few large rocks along the shoreline. That would be a good stand for speaking, he though as he remembered he left his sword at the dormitory, which thankfully wasn't far away.
