((I wasn't going to sleep, I usually go to sleep around 3 in the mornin' ^_^))
"Yes, yes it is." Morgan sighed, only noticing how nice it was once he had pointed it out. Taking a sip, she felt it run down her throat, soothing her and making her body less tense. "Thanks for saving me on the glass thing. I appreciate it." She chuckled, running over the broken glass with her finger.

((Ah, I see.))
"It was nothin'. You'd only be paying pennies for something like this anyway." he said, taking another sip.
His eyes relaxed as he fixed his gaze on the ocean waves out another window, flowing over the coastal shore. He remembered when the Mercenary League gave him R&R to a tropical resort for a week. An unforgettable week it was. Zhuke falls lost in his memories as his eyes shut, listening to the waves of the sea. ----- "...Zhuke, you promised me!" a teenage girl called out.
"No I didn't! I told you we'd only be here until the dawn started to break!" Zhuke replied, turning the ingition to the boat on. The teenage girl who had called earlier had put a towel around her after coming from the outside part of the boat while sitting next to the battle-scarred teenage boy. Her black hair was partially wet and lengthened down to her waist.
"C'mon Zhuke, just until midnight!" she pleaded.
"Let's just get back to the hotel Maria, there's nothing to do here anyway." he replied turning the ignition on again, trying to start the boat.
Maria wrapped her arms around Zhuke's arm and whispered in his ear.
"If you take us back already, I'll disassemble your G18." she whispered cleverly.
Zhuke's spun around to look at her.
"What!? No!!" he yelled back, letting his grip on the boat keys go.
"Then let's stay here a little longer!" she replied, pulling the keys out and skipping back outside the driver's area of the boat.
Zhuke sighed to himself and smiled.

Morgan looked at Zhuke, knowing he must be dreaming. Deciding to let him live in his fantasy world, she got up with her cup, sipping it as she approached the door. She leaned against the wall beside the door, watching as people walked by. She felt her leg hurting, but paid it no mind. Looking back at Zhuke, she knew he must be enjoying himself.

"Zhuke? Have you ever wondered why we're here?" Maria asked while staring into the starry lit night sky.
"Because you would've disassembled my G--"
Maria pushed Zhuke's shoulder while laughing a bit.
"No, I mean, why we were put on Earth." she replied, smiling a bit and looking back up into the night sky.
"Uh, I dunno. What do you think?" he asked, yawning afterwards.
"Hm. I think it's because we were meant to be together..." she giggled while leaning over on Zhuke. His face reddened while looking down at Maria who was huddling close to him.
"You know you're a mercenary too. You shouldn't be controlled by these kind of emotions. Mercenaries have to fight to live and live to fi--"
"I didn't wanna be a Merc... and I know you enough you don't wanna be one either." she said, cunning as ever. Zhuke sighed, admitting his defeat.
"You know, one day we might end up going seperate ways right?" Zhuke said, wondering about the future.
All he heard was crying that night. ----- Zhuke lifted his head, slowly opening his eyes. He winced, noticing Morgan wasn't there.
He looked around, and out of the corner of his eye, saw Morgan at the door, standing by herself. He drew a long sip from his cup and stood up, walking up to her.
"You okay?" he asked, leaning against the wall next to her.

"Yeah, just thinkin..." She sighed, looking out the window. Chuckling a bit to herself, she thought about the stories her sister would tall her over the phone. "You ever wonder how things always work out?" She asked, turning her attention back to Zhuke.

Zhuke didn't even think about it as he shrugged.
"Because we make them?" he replied cluelessly. In the back of his mind echoed the memory of Maria, his subordinate and closest friend in the Mercenary League.

"I mean, like how when one dominent species dies out, another begins to thrive. It's like my uncle always says, Life finds a way.." She chuckled, remembering the uncle who had so graciously let them into his home. Looking around, Morgan found the nearest chair, deciding her leg couldn't handle the weight any longer. As she finished the last part of her vanilla, she looked up at Zhuke. "What're you thinkin' about?" She asked, noticing how much he was thinking.

Zhuke blinked, not sure of what to say.
"Uh-, just the reason why tonight is so quiet." he replied, making a bad excuse. He drank the rest of his French Vanilla and tossed it into a trash can while sitting across from Morgan. "Normally you'd be used to hearing gunfire cracking out in the middle of the night and mortar shells beating and booming off in the distance." he said, biting his lip slightly while remembering one of the battles he had in which two of his subordinates died in.
((Be back in an hour. Not sure if you'll be on by that time though))

Lexy listened to Abel and Cathal talk about their jobs. For some reason, it didn't bother her as much as it would have before she met Abel. Looking around Lexy saw two new people walk in and sit down. She turned around and kneeled on the chair, watching them, then looking around at the other people who were in the cafe. It didn't seem too overly busy she thought. She looked back at the two, a boy and a girl who seemed to be drinking coffee , and wondered if they were a couple. She quickly turned around and went back and went back listening to Abel and Cathal.

"Hmm...I guess this place is rather quiet, when you put it that way." She said, also tossing her cup away. She got up, looking around. "So, are we just gonna sit and chat or what?" Morgan asked, her borwn hair now seeming shinier due to the lightbulb above her glowing more brightly.
((I probably won't but you never know!^_^))

((Guess you're still on. Huh. You should get some sleep soon.))
"I dunno." he said bluntly. "Whaddya have on mind?" he asked, resting his head on his arm.
While he waited for an answer, his crimson eyes moved to the side. He fixed his vision on the group of three at the table, two boys and a girl, a rather shy looking girl.

((I know, but I can't sleep...>.<))
Morgan shrugged, then thought for a moment, then shrugged again. "I've drawn a blank..." She luahged, her hair slowly moving down onto the table.

((Why's that? I sleep like a rock. In fact, I fall like one too. [I fall off my bed sometimes]))
He looked down at the table to cover his smile.
("A calm presence... just like her.") he thought to himself, still smiling.
He looked up and fixed his gaze on her eyes while thinking for awhile.

"Hello?" She asked, waving her hand infront of his face. "Is anyone in there?!" Laughed Morgan, trying to get his attention.
