Valdris spent most of his time in his room. The demon was tired from the spell he casted as felt it way on him more then it should. He looked over at his room and it was like any other.
The room was decorated in silk and velvet linen. The curtains made from velvet covered the stone walls and draped around the room. The bed already had red silk sheets pressed and made on the bed. Valdris didn't even bother taking off the top cover as he heavy body plopped on the top of the bed. He groaned and mumbled a sigh of relief as he closed his eyes. Slowly regaining his energy.
"Were you really going to leave me in the other realm?" Sye yelled on the opposite side of the door.
"Leave me alone.... rest..."
"Seriously!?!"
"Reeeest" Valdris said in a sing song voice.
"WELL WERE YA"
With that Valdris opened the door and screamed at the top of his lungs. Sye hurried back for he could feel the stomping of Valdris's feet on the ground.
"Listen you lil s**t. I rip your head off and use you body as a sled for winter if you don't shut the hell up and go clean something"
With that Valdris slammed the door and continued in his spot were he left off. Leaving Sye standing there with a slight smirk on his face. Sye then went his way down with a duster and starting to clean the statue in the front room. Really pretending to keep busy until Eltoas returned.

Knocking on the door, El reached down and tried the door knob, finding it was unlocked and moved into the room. Her eyes looked around the room at the rich fabrics, one hand straying to the nearest curtain and running down it. Finally, she'd look over at the bed and notice that Vald was still laying on the bed trying to do what the elf knew she should be doing; resting. Between not sleeping the night before and the spell, she was beat and exhausted, but kept awake for now for him. Unsure if he was awake or not, she closed the door behind her trying not to make too much noise as she walked towards his bed.
Sinking down into the bed at his waist, she looked down at him and smiled weakly. "Hey there... I'm back," she whispered to him, seeing he was awake after all. This time, she was wearing just the simple low-cut shirt that she had on earlier and a pair of jeans, her cloak and boots were in her room so she could try to relax a little bit more. "Did you manage to get some rest," she questioned him, reaching up and gently brushing stray strands of hair from his face before dropping her hand back to the side of her body and supporting herself with it.

Valdris turned over a bit and sighed.
"I would been sleeping if Sye didn't talk so much. I had him go clean the back yard and make sure the spell barriers are up."
Valdris felt her fingers brush back his hair and he gave a smile.Closing his eyes as he enjoyed the attention. He looked over at her and felt more at peace.
" I have a few books for you to read and then your training shall begin. I like you to get some sleep and when we have rested I will see how your combat spells are. As well as your deffensive spells are constructed. I want to see what you know."
He turned his body to face her talking to her feeling more relaxed. It was his home and he felt more complete. On the wall was a portrait of a woman dressed in red standing next to a black panther. Under the picture it said Aeritus Dremis.

Smirking at the comment on Sye, she shook her head at him slightly. "You should be more kind to him, I'm sure once he gets over the fact of having someone to talk to again he'll calm," she told him, wondering if he would do as she said or not. When the conversation shifted towards her training, El rolled her eyes at his words of sleep. "I'm fine, more hungry then sleepy... I can stand a few more hours to read and eat before I lay down," she insisted to him. The testing of her spells would be fine with her as well, but she wanted to wait until she had rested as he had said before using any more spellcraft. She was sure she could handle the strain, but still wanted to be more at her top condition first.
When he turned towards her, she smiled and stretched out on his bed, so that she was laying beside him with her forearms holding her body up. Her head was turned away from him however as she noticed the picture on the wall. Her eyes took in the words underneath, but they didn't mean too much to her and her eyes had returned to the woman's face as she studied it silently. A few more moments would pass by before she turned her attention back to Vald, "Who is she?"

Valdris looked over as she mentioned Sye. He gave a slight sigh as he spoke a little lighter on the situation.
"Sye is problematic but is a loyal member of my family you might say. He protects me and those I care for. If you wish to know anything more about the Manor please ask him. He knows the history and everything that you need to know... as for that.."
He pointed to the portrait of the woman. His face twisted a bit with discust as he spoke.
"That there is my mother... a creature not worth mentioning."
Valdris became suddenly bitter as he stood up as he went to the door.
"Sye will help you with your things I will be with you shortly" He waited by the door. He seemed to have a lot on his mind suddenly.

Sitting up on the bed, she sighed and stood up and followed him to the door. "I didn't mean to upset you..." she murmured faintly before leaving the room and heading downstairs in search for Sye now. It seemed that the mention of his mother had bothered him and he wanted time alone... so she would give it to him and do as instructed. Her footsteps were nearly silent as she padded barefoot still down the stair case, her eyes trailing to the statute in the front before stepping off the last step and looking around for a back door.
After a little bit of searching, the elf finally found her way outside. A frown came to her as she looked up at the sky, an array of colors in the dusk sky and the first stars starting to come out and twinkle over head. She hadn't realized how much time had passed by when she had went to get her things and take care of some loose ends. Shaking her head slightly, she wondered around in the backyard looking for Sye and calling out his name every so often.

Valdris closed the door and went back to his room. He didn't know what to think at that time. Setting his things aside in his mind as he returned to his bed. He sleep off the horrible memories of that past.
Sye was outside, as ordered, he started pulling some weeds from the garden as the vines around the place started to move and twist. The plant that was considered just a simple vine moved and twisted around as Sye started to throw things to it. A few dead rabbits were tossed at the vine as the vine took the dead rabbits with glee pulling it into a dark shadow. The soft sounds of crunching could be herd.
"Ahhh El is it? I'm here..." He turned around as he made his way past a few normal plants and gave her a smile as always. He was always cheerful as he wiped the leftover animals blood in a towel.
"Had to feed the pets ya know? Glad you came back! Valdris must be really happy that you returned. He hasn't had much luck... well nothing about that... I got some stew on in the kitchen if you are hungry"
Sye started to walk about the garden that was in the center of the Manor it seemed.

Noticing the plant, she was careful not to get too close to it as Sye came closer to her. At first, she seemed distracted with her thoughts on Valdris and the plant before them then her focus shifted to the boy before her. "What was that about luck," she questioned him, falling into step at the demon's side with her arms crossing under her chest with her steps. Her curiosity was growing more at what the demon was trying to keep from her and the reason for Vald's reaction to the mention of his mother. She wouldn't ask Sye about his mother though... she'd leave that for Vald to tell her when he was ready to do such.
The question of food brought a small nod to the elf as she sighed faintly, "Did he eat while I was gone?" She knew the strain on him from the spell had to take a lot out of him and he would need some rest and food as much or more then she would. El wouldn't go upstairs and bother him about eating... but she'd insist that he ate before they started on her training later that night.

Sye's attitude changed as he slowly started over towards the kitchen. He talked a bit softer as if he didn't want anyone else to hear.
"Valdris never really had anyone stick by him. Good reason is we are not your kind of people to hang around. There was a girl before you.... Valdris is bitter against corbin more ways then one"
Sye started to the kitchen and started getting bowls out for the both of them. He looked over at her his eyes showing a bit of sorrow when he talked.
" Valdris is a b*****d child of the family. He has no true bloodlines. His mother made him trained him to be a killer. Then left him here in my care. Please don't tell him anything I told you. He will kill me..."
He got the bowls filled with the stew. Handing her one and keeping one for himself. Eachone had a spoon sitting inside the bowl.
"After each of the family line died Valdris is now in charge of the family. He wants to prove to the God so much that is worth something. I ask maybe really think your reasoning for coming here. Are you sure you want to stay here...?"
Aye looked over at her with a slight glare.

It made sense to her that most wouldn't be around the family or Valdris, not too many minded being around those that were evil or a demon for that matter. Biting on her bottom lip, she refrained from saying anything about Corbin or in his defense, not wanting to make Sye angry at her. Nodding to the request on not telling him, she knew that it'd make Vald angry and she wouldn't want to upset either of them. Taking the bowl in hand, she looked down at it before her eyes moved back up to Sye's face. "I see no reason why I don't want to stay here," she told him, resting her free hand on her slender hip while looking up at Sye. "Don't try to scare me away from here either. Vald's a friend of mine and I will do what he needs or wants me to do to help him out, as long as it doesn't inflict with other promises that have been made," she told the demon, making sure it was clear she was there for the long haul.
OOC :: Gotta run and do some errands, be back in a few hours.

Sye took a big mouthful of stew into his mouth. Munching on a bit of meat that seemed to be cooked just right. He looked at Eltaos very stern. Unlike the boys usual appearence.
" Even if you loose yourself to it's evil. A mistress to this house. I believe that maybe you might be over your head. "
Sye smirked inside. He was testing her to make sure she really was here for either power or simple she really cared about Valdris. Still Sye had his own plans once the battle was over.

'A mistress to this house,' the thought ran through her mind before after the one before her said to her. The word 'mistress' made her wonder what they were expecting from her to do or be for Vald. Of course, there was different meanings to mistress...but most of them were all tied into the same meaning. While she eat a bit of soup, she let her mind wonder whiled she kept her eyes on Sye and listened to him. "You can think that all you want, in the end, I'll show you that I can handle what I'm doing and help Vald get past his past and what happened to him," she told him before going back to her stew. Of course, she knew she sounded cocky, argoant or just too sure of herself, but she had faith in her abilities and what she could handle. Not to mention, she didn't like when others doubted her.

Sye's eyes gave a slight smirk to them.
"Perhaps I shall tell you why Valdris hates Corbin so. "
Sye took his food and finished the last few bites. He took his bowl and placed it into the sink. He started to rise the bowl in the sink thinking to himself. He wasn't sure if she was ready but she was willing to stay this far. Perhaps he would explain why the feud began.
"Valdris was born out of spite. Aeritus was a evil evil b***h. There is no other way to word it. To spite her cousin, she made her husband,Zeld, a sex slave for a few evenings to get herself pregnant to have a heir. Then after Valdris was born he was beaten and abused and trained to be a killer. Not to mention the sick thing use to sleep with Aeritus. Lets just say he became not really and heir but a b*****d child of the Darken Family. Corbin is almost the same as Valdris except, he was born out of love. Something Valdris really never had. So in a way he hates corbin cause he has been given opertunity to become something great. While Valdris has been left behind one might say."
He paused for a moment...
"Valdris is now a servant to our God. There is a past in this family that goes deep. I can not tell you anything else on the family. Only those who been inducted will be allowed the information."

Finishing her own bowl as he told her more about Vald and his hatred for Corbin. It made sense to her... the one thing he had always wanted and needed, Corbin had and disregarded it it seemed... "He could still be something great, a parent's love shouldn't hold him back," she told him, shaking her head slightly and moving around Sye to rinse out her own bowl. It was easier for her to say then know how it was though, her parents had loved her dearly as most races of elf did - outside of drow.
Biting her lip to keep from saying more on her views on deities, she grunted bitterly before shaking her head again. "I understand.. don't betray his trust or promises in order to tell me. When the time comes... if he wants me to know, I will," she told him, reaching out to pat his shoulder slightly. She wasn't upset that he wouldn't tell her, but it made her interest peek up more.

Sye pulled back his hair and gave a bright smile. He was back to his upbeat smiling self. He gave a slight jump to her as he gave her a hug.
"Thank you for sticking with us. I think you wil make a great addiction to the family."
Sye looked around as he started to clean a few more things up. His smile never left his face as he pulled on Eltoas's hand.
"I got your room set up for you and ready. Valdris will have me prepare the barriers for the battle tomorrow. I will set up healing area's as well. It's going to be very interesting. I also placed books in your room and magic techniques"
He let go of her hand and started to lead her to the room.
