I don't mean to barge in on the middle of a conversation razz
My name's Katrina. I'm currently in my Freshman year of college studying entomology. It was a toss-up between that and zoology but as much as I love animals I have to admit I'm more fascinated by bugs. They're not as good for companionship but considering the incredible impact things so tiny have on the environment I can't help but want to know as much as possible about them.
Favorite animals;
Sea creatures: Octopus, squid, cuttlefish
Insects: Millipedes, bees, ants, beetles
Mammals: Cats (mixed, Somali, Chartreux), Dogs (mixed, Standard Poodle, Doberman, German Shepard), Rabbits (mixed, Flemish Giant, Rex, Minirex, Dutch, New Zealand)
Felt like being thorough razz

Welcome to the guild, Aufstandkind! Glad to see you! It's also good to see another person with a special interest in something specific, and has a bit more expertise in areas!
I love insects myself; actually, there isn't much that I don't like. Insects and invertebrates are truly fascinating creatures that hold more mysteries than I think we could ever hope to explore! I heard there are still thousands of arthropods that have yet to be discovered! I think that's pretty interesting. Good to have you.

Hi, I'm Forever_Funny. I'm not officially part of the guild yet sweatdrop but I have requested to join. I have an adorable miniature schnauzer, Maggie. I've also had many guinea pigs in my life, but they've all died crying (2 of them died of old age, 1 was abused before we got her, so I think that had something to do with her death, and 1 got sick a few months after birth). I LOVE all animals and wildlife. My fav. animals are Giant Pandas, and I also like Red Pandas. My fav. mystical animals are dragons *pokes avvie*. I hope you will let me join!

i'll just go by soccergirl. I love animals, I have many fish a puppy, and I used to have guinea pigs, but sadly they've joined a happy world. sad
I currently volunteer at my local ASPCA and my goal in life right now is to become a veterinarian.

Aufstandkind invited me because she knows I'm awesome and am only afraid of the ever-disgusting cockroaches (don't kill me).
I currently work with dogs, but I'm soon quitting so I can continue attending college - no, I won't be studying animals, but programming, go figure.
I have two kitties in my home, my mom has a miniature dachshund, and I tend to melt when I see big dogs, not to mention that I date an animal.

nomiochi: You're still young! Oh, how I miss my youth sometimes. What is your favorite animal?
soccer girl: Good to see the time you've put into such a good organization! The ASPCA needs all the volunteers they can get. Do you see it becoming a career for you in the future?
Obstarten: Hehe, it's OK, you don't have to like every animal! Though being Aufstandkind's friend, I'm sure she'll forgive you! I love big dogs myself, and the description of your date seems interesting! What do you do in your work with dogs?

Suffice it to say my job is nonexistant as of tomorrow (28th). Not much to tell other than the fact that I know about 200 dogs by name.
I think Auf hates cockroaches as much as I do! rofl
