Faye looked at the orb. "Yeah, that's it. That's the thing it showed me." Fleur looked between the object and the pit. "If it wants it, I wouldn't give it to him," she said. Just then something rose out of the pit. It was massive and hideous; that much was evident right away. It was unlike anything else they had ever seen and as it came to the surface of the pit, a burst of energy was released that knocked them all backwards. Fleur bit back a scream at how disgusting the thing was. "THIS is what they were sacrificing us to?" Faye asked in a mixture of amazement and disgust. "Our city has been rotten for quite some time to fall this far..." As it arose from the depths, the townspeople fell to their knees, crying out prayers to it in a strange language.



The creature slowly panned the room, taking in everything. Then it opened all its mouths as once. Each one spoke in a different, bizarre language that shook the room. The townspeople began to pray louder. Until the creature reached its tentacles forward and wrapped them around them. The townspeople began to cry out in fear and struggle as the creature dragged them towards it. However, when they reached it, instead of pulled them into its mouths it pulled them under and into the pit, their screams fading as they were pulled lower and lower into the mouth of madness. "Oh my...how are we going to kill that??" Asked Fleur fearfully. All of a sudden there was a burst of static in their heads that tore into their minds. The creature seemed to be trying to communicate, but its overwhelming power was too much for the group to manage. "We're not," replied Faye with gritted teeth. "We have to find a way to send it back to Hell or wherever it came from," "Yrrahgggahhrrhg!" The creature roared at them. Despite its bestial nature, it seemed to be saying something, though in a language no one could understand.

"Just don't let it get the thing or toss it in the pit," Faye told Chila, looking back towards the mammoth beast. "I guess that means we'll have to distract it..." Fleur said, referring to her and Faye. Faye nodded. "Chilia...what are you going to do with the artifact?" Fleur asked as she eyed the artifact.

Fleur grimaced and pointed her crystals horizontally. "Maybe like this," she said as she launched her crystal rockets all at once. If the monster saw them coming, it didn't seem to care. They hit point-blank, detonating all over its gruesome face. Explosions of blood followed each hit as the creature's body was penetrated by the rockets. "Take that!" Cheered Fleur excitedly. However, only seconds after the wounds had been opened they closed back up again, new scaly skin growing over them as if the wounds had never even existed. "Great..." muttered Faye as she saw it regenerate. In response, the creature spoke a single word. Though again it was in a language none of them could understand. It sounded like it was coming from both inside and outside their heads at the same time. As soon as it was spoken each of them felt a sharp pain in their heads and blood began to run from the eyes and noses of all three of them. "What the...!?" Gasped Fleur as she put her hand to her nose, pulling it away to look down at the blood. "It's some kind of abominable magic," muttered Faye as she wiped some of the blood from her eyes. "We're not going to last long against something like this. Chilia, come up with something quick before it melts our brains or something," Faye said before she launched herself in the air, firing bursts of energy out of her hands to draw the creature's attention towards her, though the wounds she caused continued to regenerate as well. Fleur did the same, spreading her wings and flying in another direction away from Chilia as she continued firing rockets at it.

Fleur continued firing rockets at the creature as Faye took a moment to look over at Chilia. "That might be a good idea. Maybe it wants it because it knows it's a weakness? There doesn't seem to be anything else that hurts it, so why would it care so much about the orb unless its something powerful?" She barely dodged a tentacle before looking back to the creature. "Whatever you're gonna do, do it fast!" She yelled as the creature released another blast of noise into their heads, causing another sharp pain and more blood. It was becoming hard to think.

The beast roared in agony as Chilia's punch drove the orb straight into its head. Strangely, even for a punch as strong as Chilia's, the attack cut through it like a knife through butter. Fleur smirked at Chilia's transformation. "You really are a doggy!" She told her. Both Faye and Fleur took advantage of the creature's distraction in its pain and pressed their attacks. For some reason when their attacks hit, the wounds no longer regenerated. "Keep hitting it with the orb!" Faye yelled to Chilia. "It's weakening it somehow!" The creature sent a sharp ind attack towards Chilia, boring into her head and causing immense pain as it reached up its tentacles, attempting to wrap them around her.

The beast roared again as all three of their attacks connected. Being stuck in the pit as well as a giant target it was almost impossible to miss. It waved its tentacles around angrily as they sprayed blood from Chilia's attacks. The next time the orb slammed into it, it sent another mind attack, though this one was more erratic and less painful as if the creature was losing steam. Covered with wounds it was making another attempt to swing at each of them. Fleur and Faye both managed to dodge as its attacks had become slower.

As Chilia plunged the orb into the monster's head a third time, it seemed to sink lower in the pit as if it were being dragged back down. "Yeah! It's working!" Fleur said excitedly. Faye grinned as she watched it sink, covered in wounds. "Almost done," she said. "Good thing you hunted down the Mayor and we found out how to push it back in before it was too late. This is only a fraction of its power I think..." Fleur fired more rockets, this time shooting them straight down one of the many mouths on its head. They disappeared into the gaping maw before detonating. The entire mouth exploded, sending another spray of blood up in the air and leaving a giant hole in its head. "Don't like that, do ya?" Fleur mocked with a smirk. The creature flailed its tentacles at random, swinging them all around the room as it attempted to hit anything it could reach. It began smashing open walls and tearing holes in the ceiling, slowly ripping the entire room apart.

Faye watched as the creature sunk lower into the pit. "One more hit ought to do it," she told Chilia. Fleur looked over at Chilia. "You mean that you really ARE a doggy?" She asked, flexing her claws. "Alright guys, let's wait until it's dead..." Faye interrupted.
