~Do not Foraske me...My Beloved~
Aiden(Jasper) Lionheart

"Sorry, I just couldn't think of anything else...and i didn't want to give him time to notice..." Aiden apologized pulling her behind a large piece of rubble that hide them from sight. he thought the Dragoness could use a rest and he needed one too. his eyes scanned the area, they were still gold from his use of magic but slowly they were returning to green though his right eye seemed to keep the gold a bit longer then what was normal. He relaxed as he didn't spot any demons but he did manage to catch a glimpse of something in the corner of his eye. when he looked it was an Emerald, surrounded by diamonds with a silver chain. His heart stopped dead in his chest as slowly his eyes moved up to the form of a pale, grey, hand sticking out from under a ton of rubble and a single crushed wing of white and blue. slowly he staggered towards the pile. "Eleanor..." he whispered his voice chocked and tears filled his eyes, so, she had come with him to this forsaken place and he had failed to protect her. maybe this was the reason his memories failed him. "ELEANOR!" he shouted and rushed forwards and began to dig at the rubble using only his own strength to remove the large boulder that had crushed her middle and lower body while bits of smaller rubble had covered her top. he fell to his knees and grabbed her lifeless body pulling her towards him and buried his face in her cold, bloodied, neck. he wept hard and long rocking back and forth as he held the dead body of his beloved. "Eleanor...Melda...a-avá léne nin eriol sinome -eva mornië...(Eleanor...Beloved...d-do not leave me alone in this place of darkness... )" He sobbed to her his hand gripping the torn and bloodied cloth of her dress. releasing her lower body Aiden raised his hand to her unnaturally calm face and stroked her cold cheek. choking on his tears Aiden managed a small broken smile. "Melda, y-you broke your promise..." he whispered. "You were supposed to dance with me, a-at the f-festival remember..." he finished his hand raising from her cheek to stroke her tangled raven hair. then his features broke again and all he could do was weep and curse those who had brought about her death.

~Because if you do, then i shall let the darkness take me...to the depth of Hell itself.~

Nanaja Kagero

♦The Inferno Warrior♦

Hearing the young elf apologize for his accidental actions for blinding her, the dragoness simply sighs and shakes her head at his words, her grip upon her blade loosening some. Being pulled along and being brought to a stop, she gently rubs her eyes with her left forearm, removing her forearm for a moment as she blinks a few times, her vision a bit blurry as she still sees some spots. However, they soon vanish and her vision begins to return to her, but slowly. She gently rests her back against the large piece of rubble as she sighs softly to herself, blinking some as she examines herself for a quick moment. Nothing is missing. Good. Everything is still intact. Sheathing her blade, the dragoness believes they are out of trouble for the moment, and this gives her time to actually relax some, despite them still being within this hellhole. But at least they are away from that damnable demon that just loves to stalk them. Something tells her that they shall be seeing him again soon enough. But not after they get the hell out of here, that's for sure. However, her attention is raised towards the elf Aiden, her ears lowering themselves as he shouts a name; Eleanor. Who's Eleanor? And with hearing the sadness clear within his voice, Nanaja frowns some as she thinks it's someone he obviously knew. Perhaps even had feelings for, whether this Eleanor being just a friend or more than that. She ceases her resting against the large piece of rubble he has brought her to, standing up straight as she watches with concern as Aiden digs through other rubble to dig out this one's body. Oh yes, without a doubt this Eleanor woman is most definitely important to Aiden. More than she realizes, especially since he is willing to get down and dirty for them. However, he could have gone about this a little easier. The shouting of her name was a little unnecessary. The last thing they need to do right now and draw the attention of all the demons that still occupy this razed city...

With Aiden having made his way towards the actual body of the now deceased Eleanor, the dragoness frowns heavily and sighs softly to herself, her fiery eyes looking back and forth to make sure that nothing is coming their way, due to Aiden's reckless shouting. Nothing so far. She can understand one requires time to mourn the loss of another, but now is definitely not the time. However, she can't just deny him this. If she were in his shoes and it had to do with her family... Hell, she would be in a much worse condition. Gently biting her lower lip as Aiden cries for his dead friend or quite possibly lover, the dragoness begins to slowly approach him from behind, grasping onto her right arm with her left hand and begins to rub it, unsure of what to say that could possibly make him feel any better. The woman looks beautiful. Or at least...she used to anyway. Releasing her right arm with her left hand, the dragoness kneels down right beside Aiden and places her hand onto his shoulder, gently comforting him as she closes her fiery eyes. "Shinryu, petranas clax nomeno sepa sari dout itovir vur doegeir cha'sidic. (Shinryu, please take this soul into your loving and caring hands.)" she says lowly in the Draconic tongue, a small prayer for woman's soul that has departed. Seeing Aiden cry is quite the sight, that's for sure. Nanaja can't stand to see anyone cry, even if it's someone who she just met. Now, she isn't necessarily the extremely religious type, but she does have some faith. Now is one of those times to have some faith. Patting Aiden's shoulder, she gently rubs it in a comforting manner. "I understand that you lost someone that was relatively close to you, but I hate to say these next words. Now is not the time. There will be a time for mourning...soon. But first, we need to get out of here. She may have died here, but this place does not have to be her grave, like most of the others here. If you want, pick her up and let's leave this place. Simaron is gone, and staying here any longer would be suicidal. We can give her a proper burial once we're clear of this place." she informs Aiden as she raises up onto her own two clawed feet. Looking around the dragoness takes a few steps towards one of the closest exits of the city, it not being too far away now. She looks back to the mourning Aiden and points towards the nearest exit with her right hand. "Come, the exit is this way. We're almost out of the city."

Shara

"I have had to fight like hell"

Shara flew once more over the new Tal'rukk. This place couldn't even be called Simaron anymore. Two people sat on her back, the only two she's found since beginning her search again. The refugees she already gathered had grouped together and were heading north, carrying the wounded on make-shift palets. Aeris was among them, wounds treated to the best of the people's ability. Shara was sure she'd be fine with them for the time being. She would return soon enough.
The sun peaked out for but a moment, casting Shara's shadow across the buildings as she flew. She was soaring over the former arena when something glinted in the light. She focused her vision and was surprised at what she saw. Decreasing her altitude steadily, she prepared to land and her riders lowered themselves so not to be seen, just as instructed. There were demons below, but she had the element of surpise. Shara landed and killed the four lesser demon quickly, not wanting to waste time. They died with little noise. What cry did escape them echo eerily of the walls.
Shara picked up the shining object with amazment. The light reflected off the clean surface of the blades, somehow untarnished or dented.

So that's where I dropped my swords. she thought in amazement.
Shara held them tightly in her claws and took of once more. This would be her last patrol. She better make the most of it.

"And fighting like hell has made me what I am."

Quinn grew angry the stupid dragoness actually laughed at him he was about to charge at them both with what little strength he had left when his vision was blurred by a bright light from the elf the unexpected shock from the light made trip and fall flat on his face where he just laid there as he heared them run off "this really isn't my day..."he thought as he got back to his feet opening hi eyes blinking a few times to realize he couldn't see a thing the elfs spell left him with a vision of nothing but bright white all like a busted tv screen "great now how am i ganna get around"he thought irritably as he took a few steps forward only to trip on some rubble and fall yet again he decided it wasn't worth the effort because A.he couldn't see a thing and B.he was tired he laid there waiting for his vision to come back

~Aiden Lionheart~

~Do not Forsake me...My Beloved~

Aiden knew that the Dragoness was right, they couldn't stay here any longer lest they wanted to fight a horde of Demons. gently, he lifted Eleanor off the ground and cradled her broken body close. "let get out of here..." he said ignoring the tears that were still streaming down his face and falling onto Eleanor's cold skin. Aiden swore to himself, the next demon that crossed their path wouldn't be simply blided by a weak spell, no, he would make it suffer as his heart was suffering, an eye for an eye. they stole his dreams from him, his love and his life, Tal'Rukk would pay for what they had done, they would suffer for every broken heart, every tear shed by a moarning loved one, and he would make sure of it.

~Because if you do, then i shall let the darkness take me...to the depths of Hell itself.~

Aeris Lenon

"Me? I just like to wander here and there....

((FINALLY I can post!!!!!! XP))
Aeris had been unconscious for quite some time, the wound in her side taking up a considerable amount of energy. When she finally came to, the girl slowly opened her eyes, wincing at a sudden headache as what light there was in the sky pierced her vision, momentarily blinding the girl. Once she was able to see again, she slowly stood up, wincing as the movement stretched her side wound. She moved a hand to hold it against the slash but was mildly surprised to feel a coarse bandage had been wrapped around her midsection.
"W-Where am I?" She quietly said to herself; she was in a type of tent laying on a cot and various types of medical tools as well as a blood soaked rag and water were off to the right. She could hear several voices outside, some frantic, some determined but all of them carried the subtle undertone of shock and despair.
Too weak to get out of the cot, Aeris laid back down and listened to the voices. She caught snatches of the words, piecing together a bit about what had happened while she was unconscious. Apparently the demons had completely overrun the city now, almost everyone had either been killed in the disaster or fled; she was in one of the few refuge camps for treating the wounded. The large beast she heard about must have been Shara, it seemed like she had gone back to the city to search for more survivors.

...you know, experience all the world has to offer me."

Shane was not to far from the refugee tents hiding behind a crate looking at a few guards slowly get overwhelmed by the demons."Damn I need to tell the rest of the guards before they brake through to the refugee's."He said getting up but was stopped by three weak demons that were armed."Hey boys I don't have time to play but I'll gladly finish you off quickly."He laughed running to the first demon spinning dodging his sword kneeing his back and lifted the demon up off the ground throwing him into the second demon then bobbed and weaved dodging the final demon's attacks he then jumped up kneeing his jaw doing a back flip off of the demon."Okay sorry but I can't waste anymore time on you losers see ya."He smirked turning around and ran back to the last line of guards not to far from where he was.

"Life and Love have one thing in common, they are both painful and meaningless..."

~Natane~

A pair of bright gold eyes watched as the destuction in front of them unfolded. a long black tail swayed back and forth over the rubble but made little noise as it brushed small bits of stone aside. a piar of long black furry ears twitched at the slightest noise.

Natane licked her dark lips as she waited, hiding behind the wreckage of an old tavern. when the group of Demons before her had past she slipped out from behind the rocks and started digging around looking for anything of value. a few times she whispered small blessings over the dead bodies she looted, but she did not show much signs of emotion for them, they were not her responcibility, she didn't care. "after all, a wolf has to survive...no one need these things anymore." she whispered to herself grabbing a bloodied bag of gold that was tied around a dead nobles belt. she continued her search when she stopped just paces away from a camp. her eyes narrowed as she saw some of the guards. she didn't like guards. but there was more on their platter now then some theif. she stood slowly and ran past them towards the tents, once there she could see about trying to find some food and other items that could help her in the future.

"But, once they take hold of you...they will never let go untill Death releases you."

Nanaja Kagero

♦The Inferno Warrior♦

Watching Aiden carefully to make sure that he doesn't do anything reckless that could very well jeopardize their position with the demons lurking around every corner in this now ruined city, the dragoness smiles softly to the elf as he lifts up the deceased woman's body and stands up on his own. And here she thought she would had to carry both of them out here. But perhaps her words do ring true; staying here any longer would only prove to be a bad decision on both of their behalf's. Even with his voice ringing clearly within his ears, the tears cannot hide themselves, nor can they lie. Waiting for him to catch up to her, the dragoness allows him to walk up beside her and she begins to walk along side him. She places her hand onto his shoulder in a comforting manner as they proceed to leave the ruined city of Simaron. "I am sure that her spirit is free now Aiden. Despite her life being lost, her loved ones along with you mourning her death, you can only shed tears for the lost and smile, knowing very well that they shall never be forgotten. Through her loved ones, her spirit shall forever live on, watching over them." she goes about telling Aiden this, something that her mother has told her when she was but a younger dragoness. Before Nanaja realizes it, they are already out of the city. However, the only thing that concerns her is this; where exactly are they going to go from here. The dragoness knows for a fact that she didn't have any backup plans for this kind of occasion, she is kind of at a loss here. "I must admit, I wasn't really prepared for this kind of thing, the city being wrecked the way it is now. I was kind of hoping to live here for at least a year or so before I started to truly explore the lands. Well, so much for that idea." she idly tells Aiden, trying to start small chatter. It then dongs on her that the elf still does not know her name, considering they didn't really have all that much time to properly introduce themselves to one another. Of course, the dragoness is fully aware of his name, having had to say it to clear up a misunderstanding. "By the way, my name is Nanaja. Sorry I never got the chance to properly introduce myself..."

(( I am terribly sorry about the delay. I got mixed up in my own current works since earlier this month and haven't been posting all that much. I'll try my best to post as much as I can. Please forgive me. User Image ))

Shara

"I have had to fight like hell"

Shara returned, landing just on the out skirts of the camp. She was shocked to see it beseiged by demons. Reacting quickly, she roared. Half the demon whirled around to face her effectively ditracting them and guards cut him down. She wave her tail, knocking away others.
"I guess, It's time we move on again." she mumbled.

"And fighting like hell has made me what I am."

((sorry this took so long >.<))

((i am so sorry people, i didn't mean to vanish, have been really busy these last two months with Thanksgiving and now having to prepare for christmas, and i have been feeling really sick too so i have been sleeping more then doing anything else.))

Aiden shook his head sadly. "I was the only one who truly cared about her, she has no family or any other loved ones, she lived outside my village in a small cottage. when i was little i over heard the elders talking about her, she was born from the earth itself, no parents other then mother earth herself. And if the Earth really does mourn for her, she does not show it." he said as he walked his pace slowing just slightly. as the dragoness continued to speak Aiden remained quiet untill he heard her mention her name. "oh, no don't apologize, i never asked." he replied, in fact he realized that in all the chaos, he had never once asked for it. he then thought of what she said a little earlier. "If you need somewhere to stay, my Village is always welcoming new people, you coud stay there while you figure out where to go next. though i suppose i should move on myself, i don't think i will be able to stay there knowing i won't she her anymore." even with Eleanor in his arms he couldn't bring himself to say her name. "I wonder if her rose garden will survive without her, it would be a shame if it didn't all her hard work would have been wasted." he spoke quietly, mainly to himself at the last bit, he had been angry, he had cried, and now he just felt...hollow, like someone had taken his heart and soul and ripped it from his body and hid it somewhere laeving a gaping hole where the two should be.
