Erik turned and hugged Devion tightly burying his face in his chest. "No! I made you a promise! I'm honest to my word! Besides....I don't want my big brother to know....That Aristol and I can only be friends....He was the one who rejected me after all.....Though I don't mind....He was right about you captain....Your not a bad guy after all." he smiled a little at the end of it.

Erik sighed softly "Big Brother was also clueless about Jareds huge crush on him no matter how obvious it was for 3 years straight. Big Brother is just overly protective of me and Jared. I'm sure soon his opinion of you will change captain." he said softly.

Erik blushed more and kissed him back clutching to him his eyes shutting. He didn't mind this, it actually felt really warm. The smell of the ocean in the air made him even more relaxed and feeling safe. Is this how Jared felt when he confessed to big brother? His thought asked, he couldn't help but smile at the thought inside the kiss. If so I like this feeling very much. He was happier than he thought he could have been.

Erik blushed more at that though he didn't even think it through all that clearly. He began to fidget only ever so slightly under Devion's gaze this time.

Erik was standing there blushing for awhile before he quickly ran off and went to find his brother and Jared trying to distract himself with the idea of working rather than thinking about the kiss between him and Devion. He would have to ask Jared if that's how it felt for him when Jared realized he loved Aspen.

Erik was still looking around until he found them and smiled brightly running over and hugging Jared's arm close to his chest shouting the word mom happily. He felt like he was back home, but this time closer to the sea. It made him feel warm and fuzzy inside. Oh how he loved this feeling.

Aristol's mouth was open as he hurried to think of an answer.

Devion chuckled, "Why exactly did you turn him down? He can't be hard to turn away,"

Aristol swallowed and shook his head, "he's not." his voice quiet, he looked at Devion, "I'm sorry, I knew it'd hurt you so I said no to Erik," tears started to fall down his cheeks, "I like him Devion, but I knew you already liked him so i couldn't hurt you like that, so I said no," he wiped his eyes, and looked at Devion pleadingly, "I'm sorry I didn't mean to hurt him, I promise," he was going to continue but couldn't because Devion had hugged Arisgol to him, holding aristols head to his chest, trying to comfort Aristol.

Devion rocked them both back and forth, "Shhh. It's alright." letting Aristol cry on his clothes. "I'm not mad, why would I be, you allowed me to be with Erik, I'm not mad," kissing his head. He wasn't good at this comforting thing

Sebastien stoped talking to Aspen long enough to look at Erik and nod and wave a hand, allowing it.

Aspen looked to Erik and Jared, he was curious, but he wouldnt push it.

Jared looked at Erik, curious that Erik would want to talk to him. But he smiled warmily.

Devion chuckled, "Im not mad exactly, i know for a fact that he wouldve chosen you if you had not said no." he smoothed Aristols hair, "So i am happy you had, not about you both hurting, i dont like that, but still happy non-the-less." he missed Erik, and he licked his lips, closing his eyes, then opened them, "How bout this, next time we go into a port to pick things up, i just might take another recruit for ya. be it male or female. You dont mind which do you?" that was a serious question.

Aristol shook his head, he wasnt sure about the idea about the new recruit but he was happy about the effort and smiled at Devion, "yeah, i dont mind Devion. Thanks." wiping his tears.
