[Moonflower sighed with relief.] "Thank StarClan!" [she murmured. She watched Ravenstar drag Darkclaw to the medicine cat den. She ran in after her.] "Ravenstar... I saw an odd piece of prey today." [she mewed.]

[Moonflower nodded.] "It looked normal, and it... It had some milk looking liquid from its mouth. Then I saw Nightstreak eat it, and I woke up to see him attacking Darkclaw." [She shuddered.] "I saw him perfectly. His eyes were dull, like he was dead." [She looked around, half expecting Nightstreak to jump out of the shadows.]

Ravenstar was amazed.Nightstream was usaully a peaceful cat."Well he'll have to come back eventually"Ravenstar meowed."He needs the whispering flower cure robably"Ravenstar added quickly.

[A tiny white kit bundled along through the forest until she found a great wall of twigs. She touched it with her paw. It felt hard. She let out a squeak of pain as the twigs gave her a splinter. Her blue eyes were glazed with pain. She limped into the wall to find many cats scattered about. She backed up until she thought she was at the hole where she had squeezed through, but her tail hit the wall and she squeaked. She looked around at all the cats.]

"A-A kit"Ravenstar was distracted.Ravestar ran over to the kit,she picked it up gently and took the kit back toward Moonflower."Its ok litle one"Ravenstar whispered to the kit.

[Moonflower gasped and started licking the kit. The kit mewled and squirmed away. Moonflower caught the kit's scruff in time so it didn't get out of the camp.] "Where are you going, little one?" [she meowed. Moonflower had never had kits of her own, so she had no idea of what to do.]

Ravenstar went and got a mouse.She padded back and put the mouse up to the kits face while Moonflower blocked the other way so it couldn't get away."Are you hungry?."Ravenstar meowed softly like a mother to the kit.

[The kit looked at the mouse and jumped. She backed away, flattened her ears at the mouse and hissed.] "No evil mommy!" [She walked straight into Moonflower. She snarled.]

Ravenstar snickered at the little cats bravery."Don't worry i won't hurt you little one.What is your name?"Ravenstar meowed with no anger.

[The kit looked up at the bigger cat and whimpered. Ravenstar looked similar in size to her mother, who tried to kill her. She whimpered some more.]
