"I wonder why there isn't a promotional video for being a hunter...Like a man with an Uzi in one hand and a vampire's head in another talking about how you can be just like him in 3 easy steps." Amnity chuckled a bit, the mood of the room finally lightening. "I bet we'll get a lot of new recruits."

"I would...Heck, I'd be the one in the video!" With a chuckle, she reached over to the glass of water on her bedside and gulped it down before gently placing it back on the table.

A smile spread across her lips, but a question was itching in her throat. "...So...Mephlius." She sat up again and hugging her knees. "...Why did you...Move out of your parent's house?" It may be none of her business, but she was curious, Why hadn't he visited them in 3 years?...Did hey get into a fight?

"Oh, nothing really. It's no real big secret or anything, I was just 18. I graduated, and had to move up in the world. I still write them and stuff."

"Graduated? Lucky." she said, smiling. But the truth was, she was envious. "I never got to finish school. I had other things to do, and being the idiot I was, I just dropped out." Because frankly, I don't think they allowed terrorists into high school.

She leaned back against the stretcher's frame and waited to see if he had a clever comeback. "I would have been famous in my starring role: A remake of the '50s classic, Wolfman. They wouldn't even need a makeup department, we'd just film in a full moon." He smiled.
