Nolas "Not a clue," Slaine said hurriedly, filling the glass with the water. In the speeded process of pulling it away and turning off the running water, he accidently sloshed a small amount onto himself. That didn't seem to slow him any, however. When hearing the new order, the waiter felt a small rush of panic. So many things at once! His head was spinning. "But obviously someone's in trouble." ' Focus. Focus, Slaine!' he prompted himself. ' Everything's fine.' He was faced with two of the things he hated: Demanded rushing and sick people. His quickened pace took him into the room where he had heard Adrian's calls, but what he saw was the last thing he expected. His mouth dropped slightly agape and his eyes widened in disbelief. He didn't know if he should be feeling a torrent of relief or if he should be all the more worried. Adrian snapped his head around and stared at Slain, while he folded the pants of the young man. "Towel? Blanket? Water?" His eyes hard and sharp, "Come! This man is ill, feverish, chilled, and malnourished!!"
Adrian's eyes snapped back to the young man and softened, "I have not seen Lady B yet, young sir. But she should be here, I came to meet her, but rest now."

Mizi placed a pot on the stove and dumped a can of chicken noodle soup into it. He added water in a hurried fashion and then grabbed the towel off the counter to follow only seconds behind Slaine into the living room. Mizi rushed directly into Slaine's back due to other's sudden stop. "Slaine? What's the dea-- " but when his plum hues took in the sight of the returned Shinto, he too was struck dumb. Mizi pushed past Slaine with Adrian's demanding tone, yet he ignored their exact content. He subconciously didn't like the other's abrupt hostility. "Come on, Slaine," he muttered before speaking up to the new kid. "This man.. is Shinto," he said, handing Adrian the towel before stepping around to place a cool, familiar hand on the boy's forehead. "Oh, dear God, Shin.." he murmured horrifically, unable to bear the thought of what a kidnapped prostitute would endure to wind up in such a state. "What happened to you? Do you want Slaine? We're getting things for you."

He looked up and his eyes widened, seeing Slaine. He quickly stood up and fell to the ground, his legs were not strong enough to carry himself after all that running. "Slaine.. is that you?" he whispered and struggled to stand.

Adrian sighed, running a hand through his hair and stepping back letting the two others take care of it. The animosity that was being shot at him was stifling. They knew the young man, they could care for him, no need for him to get in the way. He'd just wait for his meeting with Lady B. Though he had a feeling that it probably wouldn't be today, but he'd wait. He looked at the clock, she was late anyways. With another sigh he looked at the men and watched as the youth tried to stand. He had the impulse to push, was it Shinto, back down and tell him to rest. Not his place...

Rukio turned his head and watched as Slaine entered the room then freeze the moment he layed eyes on the new arrival. "No..." he whispered and shook his head, darting his eyes back to the boy who struggled to move. "L-Lady B!" He called and ran down to the her office, "Lady B!"
Opening the door, she turned to Rukio and raised her hand, signaling that he had to calm down. "What is it?"
"You have to come downstairs! You won't believe who it is," he exclaimed and took hold of Lady B's hand, guiding her downstairs.

Slaine only frowned with Adrian's harshness, but otherwise didn't seem to notice. He was too enrapt with the image of Shinto before him. How did he possibly get away and most of all.. what had happened to him while he was in his kidnapper's clutches? But he didn't want to bombard the obviously beaten up boy with too many questions.
Snapping out of his heavy thoughts, the young waiter attempted to reach his arms out to take ahold of Shinto as he fell.. But was too late. He heard the teen hit the ground with a soft thud and he dropped to his knees right in front of him, setting the glass and sponge aside on the floor. He placed a hand on either side of his shoulders and looked him over. "Oh, Shinto," he said, eyes already glazing over with a misty film of moisture as he pulled him into a tight embrace "Yes, Shinto, it's me. I've missed you so much.."

No confirmation? No denial? With a lack of either one, Radevel didn't know which direction to go. However, Talis's last statement seemed to work as a guide. One to send him deeper into the anger he had already felt. Who was this boy, this whore to tell him what to do? Talis belonged to him, not the other way around. He set that glare centered on the defiant one before himself.
"What?" he asked more than a little rhetorically. "I provide you with the clothes you wear, the food you eat, and the shelter that keeps you from having to live in that damned world outside these walls. I give you everything, and this is how you repay me? Backtalking and spoiling my business? You have been nothing but a leech since you've come here. Taking and taking but giving nothing back. A liar and a nuisance, and I am damned well sick of it."
Radevel once more started forward until he was barely a foot away from Talis's smaller form. "I think it's about time for me to repay you all the trouble you've caused me," he said, a hand already out to take a handful of the boy's silky hair.

Leech. Liar. Nuisance.
Talis was stunned. How could he say such things! Such things to make the night before... sound like it never happened. Talis thought he did give back! He gave his body, his devotion, his love. ...Perhaps those things just didn't matter to Radevel Taibal.
He was about to find out.
The distress of realizing how insignificant his feelings were made Talis forget even what the very beginning of this fight was about. As his dirty blonde locks were pulled taut, he noticeably winced. "Ow!" he breathed, moving a hand to grasp the wrist of the larger man. Talis's anger and hurt were being intruded on by a new emotion once again... fear. What was Radevel going to do to him?! The man... his man... wouldn't actually hurt him, would he? Radevel couldn't be so serious as to do that... or could he?
"Leggo' my hair, Rad.." he demanded.

Another order. Another notch angrier he became. Radevel's strong hand gave a firm tug back on Talis's hair. Was he even able to think clearly through this building fury? Not even he was sure, but he was far too used to acting upon impulse that he didn't try to think everything piece through logical piece.
Leaning in close, mere inches away from Talis's face, the white-haired man sneered. "You're in no position to tell me what to do," he said, his hold unrelenting. "You should be begging. At least, that's what any smart person would be doing, but you.. You're just another supid whore here for no other reason than to be a pain in my a**."
He wasn't bothering to run the words over in his mind before saying them. They simply flowed free. The comforting, more considerate Radevel from last night seemed nothing more than a distant memory as his old, merciless self seemed to have returned.

Talis's head jerked backward with the tug, his eyes squinted in a wince and a look of discomfort on his face. All thoughts of this being an occurrence of teasing anger evaporated into the air the boy the now breathed. And as the thoughtless words mingled with the man's look of disdain, Talis absorbed them as well. While the youth's one hand squeezed the man's wrist, his other went to press against his chest, pushing him.
He wanted Radevel to stop. Anything but to hear those hurtful words. Anything! He didn't want to believe they held any weight. 'Just another stupid whore... pain in my a**'
"Shut up!" he raised his voice at his lover, lowering it only slightly to continue and barely containing his emotion, "Y-you don't mean that. You're lying! You have to be. Tell me you're lying, Radevel. Take that back. ... Call me anything ju-just not that! You don't mean it, Rad..." Hurt began etching its way into those creases in the boy's forehead and the look in his eyes. "Please," he now whispered breathily, "L-love me." In truth, it was a beg. A plea. A heartfelt longing. But the slight intonation in his voice could be drastically misconstrued as something like an order.

The light once reflected in this once bright eyes were now dim and barely visable. "It can't be," a voice came from the base of the staircase. Lady B looked down at the broken boy with tears in her eyes and at lost for words. She placed a hand on her chest and resisted the urge to run out and wrap her arms tightly around her nefew, knowing that it would probably hurt him with the current condition he was in. "Rukio! Run a hot bath! Someone boil some tea and bring a change of clothes!" she comanded and walked up to Shinto, brushing some hair out of his eyes. "Welcome home."

Memories from the night before tried to surface in Radevel's cluttered mind. Hadn't the situation been similiar before they laid down together in serene passion? But then again.. He had also convinced himself that last night had been a hoax. This time, he didn't picture them making up as easily as they had before despite the small part of him that wanted to believe the boy. No matter how.. sincere Talis appeared. He couldn't come to be known as Radevel the compassionate. Besides, how else could the boy have escaped? Talis was the only one he knew of that had had ill feelings toward him.
"You're such a convincing liar," Radevel said. "It's often difficult to separate your lies from the truth, but I know this time. It could have been no one else but you." Oh, but how far from the truth he actually knew. "You've crossed me one too many times, Talis. Learn your place and admit what you've done." With that, he gave Talis a harsh shove backwards to push him against the wall not far away from them.

The youth's back his the wall hard and he sharply inhaled with the pain it delivered. What was he to do?! Those things he said.. they were never lies. He didn't touch a hair on Shinto's head and he was being apprehended for some crime already!
How wrong Radevel was. How so very wrong. So now he was to 'learn his place?' What was that supposed to mean?! His place was whereever Radevel was. "I admit nothing!" he hissed back, frowning and trying to push the man away with all his might. "Get off of me! I didn't do anything wrong!"

Adrian stepped back from the hull-a-bal-loo as Lady B entered. His eyes flickered over the scene that was going on before he noticed the outside door was slightly ajar. With three long strides he was infront of it where he closed it again. He was sure he had closed it fully after he had carried the Shinto boy in. With one last glance at the door he went to stand against the wall so he was out of the way as the reunion took place in his midst.
((Adrian's cold, I'm sorry if he seemed to demanding... sweatdrop ))
