Shin's breath caught slowly in his throat and he nodded, face flushed. He... what if Haro... hadn't spoken? And he had hurt the other? No, no... that would be terrible. He couldn't allow that to happen, he.... Face flushed, Shin nodded again and he murmured, "I... it's alright. I don't want to ever... do something you... don't feel comfortable with." He glanced up at the other for a moment, meeting his eyes, before his own bright blue ones returned to stare at his hands.
He felt terribly embarrased and... He felt bad. What if Haro hadn't stopped him and Shin had continued, unknowing? That... that would... He couldn't think about that. But he would have to be much more careful now...

Bo was, of course, confused and he cleared his throat slowly, after having swallowed his sticky mouthful. "Hey. Mind filling me in on what the hell is going on?" he asked somewhat irritably, his eyes roaming between the three. He probably would have crossed his arms in front of himself, but had decided against it because he would probably get honey all over his clothes.

Mie-tanuki Bo was, of course, confused and he cleared his throat slowly, after having swallowed his sticky mouthful. "Hey. Mind filling me in on what the hell is going on?" he asked somewhat irritably, his eyes roaming between the three. He probably would have crossed his arms in front of himself, but had decided against it because he would probably get honey all over his clothes. Adrian's head shot up from the red fluff ball on his chest to meet eyes with Bo. He the opened his mouth to say something when the cloak figure interupted. "My, my, Adrian, who's this little bee? So you finally came out did you... hm..." The single cat eye focused on Bo as a peditory smirk appeared on the scarred face. "My name, young one, is Kibachi. And the fuzz ball that has it's claws lodged into Adrian's chest is Moeteko... and we are that loners," she head gestured towards Adrian, "only friends. Now..." she stared at the bee once more. "Who are you and what are you to..." "Adi-wady!" pipped a high pitched female voice that came from the young teen female that was clinging to Adrian with a death grip. Her red hair was brilliant in color and her eyes held a sly yet playful look to them. The red fox was nowhere to be seen. Her limbs where intertwined with Adrian's as she lay on the prone male's stomache.

izm ((For some reason I keep envisioning Sin with buckteeth when he speaks. D: ))
"I'm aware of that, thank you," Sin replied, sounding just as untroubled as before. He really was out of it. "It's just that I hear so many people talking about how that book is 'so real'... and it's not. Not at all. It's pure nonsense...." Sin didn't really like newspapers much, despite their apparent 'realness.' Too much focused on what is bad in the world and what should be and everyone complaining. Sin' old texts were nice and dry, with the writer's personalities usually stifled enough for their own opinions and views to be silenced by cold, hard research intended to prove just the opposite.
They took several turns around various bookshelves, mainly containng volumes about the lives of apposoms and other such interesting creatures. They eventually reached the stairs and Sin began to walk down them, his movements naturally a bit slow, but made to lag even furthur by the weight of the large books.
((He'ssuchadork. :B )) [[Buck teeth? XD]]
"I guess people like just a hint of fantasy in their lives to forget about reality," the young man murmured as he glanced at the shelves upon shelves of books with animal topics. "I do realize that animals do their fair share in this world, but I still don't understand why someone would write so many books on certain animals. I highly doubt anyone's going to sit down and read a book describing the intimate relationship the alley cat has with a trash can," he said with a look of near confusion as he read off the title closest to him before the shelves ended and he was following the seemingly clumsy teen down the stairs.
"You sure you can carry all those?" He asked, gesturing towards the heavy tomes in the boy's grasp.

Tapping fingers lightly against mattress, the boy bit at his lower lip a bit, finding Shin's presence at the moment to be relatively uncomfortable- which was unsual... He most often liked being near him, and he suppose he still wanted to be close...but not after- Not when he was... Clutching at a lock of shockingly bright hair, the boy look up with a regretful, little grin.
"It's...not- I don't want you to think I...that I don't...Uhm, that I wouldn't want to- to..." He wasn't looking at Shin anymore, his golden amber gaze glued at the room's window. "Just don't feel bad...this...was my fault," he mumbled, fingers ceasing their pitter patters against the bed.

Sin nodded in earnest. "Yes, I'll be fine. I've made loads much larger than this down more flights of stairs. It may look unweildy, but I've really got it all quite under good contro--" However, as he spoke, he looked back at the other and stumbled slightly and the top two books slid off.
"--!!" Sin muttured quite a few choice (and deffinately unsanitary) words under his breath and hastilly stooped down onto one knee, setting the other books down and stacking to fallen ones back on top, looking exceptionally frustrated. He picked the books back up (with quite a bit of difficulty) and continued down the stairs, this time very careful to keep his eyes in front of him. It was rather obvious that he would resent ever asking (or accepting) help.
They finally reached the first floor and Sin set his books down on a small table near the stairs, his arms very glad for a rest. "The check-out desk is over there," he said, and pointed behind himself to a busy desk.

Bo looked between the three and felt underly confused. Anyone who could call the socially impared gray fox "Aidy-wady" had some... issues. He supposed some people just naturally overdosed on cheerfullness, but this was a bit much.
He raised an eyebrow at the unfinished question. "Nothing. I'm only here so I can read quietly...."

((Haha. Don't we all? I personally like Bo's line. <3))
Shin nodded, his expression unhappy. "I..." he began, but then stopped. He couldn't think of anything to say.... or at lest, not anything that would help...
"I... Haro, I love you," he began again, feeling a small thrill at saying those three simple words once again, "so I... I don't want to do anything to... hurt you or - or anything you don't... feel comfortable with...." he mumbled, cheeks flushed brightly.
"So, uhmm.. do you... I mean, we should just... go to bed..."

[[I liked that one too. XD But the Ihavefeelings one just cracked me up. XD]]
Haro knew that Shin didn't like being lied to, and that was the last thing he wanted to do right then. Lowered eyes flickering up towards the tiger's, holding something in their depths that the boy hadn't wanted the other to see- something that no one should see, no matter who they were...but especially not Shin.
He knew what they looked like...they looked hard and cloudy somehow at the same time, clearly expressing a need for something no person like him should've hoped for. His chest felt tight at those words. He'd...He'd said them so easily just minutes beforehand. "Shin, I don't think you know how much I want this- but I think... but, I know you're...not ready and I can't do that to you," he said plainly, surprisingly keep his gaze on the others.
His eyes didn't fall until a few minutes later when he mumbled a soft, 'good night,' as he curled his legs against his chest.
----
Fuuyo tried to stop himself, he really did- but as one hand was occupied with a book and the other was grasping the hand rail, he couldn't quite hold a hand over his mouth to stifle his smirk, nor the just barely strangled chuckle.
"My, oh my~ You alright there?" He asked with a brilliant grin, blue eyes set on the teen before they moved towards the desk he had finally been shown. "Thanks for you help, Kiddo, I owe you one," he added, sauntering his way towards his destination. Although he had only found one of the necessary books, he supposed a bit of smooth talking and rich coffee would have his boss thinking of other articles, other stories that needed to be written...and nothing of that smart-a** assistant who never seemed to get things right.

Shin was genuinely shocked (which wasn't something that happened all that often) and his wide-eyed gaze met the other's. Had he been... that obvious? And, now that he thought about it, it felt... odd.... Strange that... that someone else was trying to take care of him. His mother had always been rather over protective, but had been sickly enough that Shin had ended up taking care of her. This was... different.
"Good night," he replied slowly, obviously still in some amount of shock as he stood up slowly and exited the room.
He closed the door behind himself and a soft sigh slipped from between his lips as he walked down to his room and slipped into bed.

Haro leaned onto his back, stretching out his legs until they hit up against the bag that had started it all. Bringing whatever had been in that plastic bag to his face, the boy's expression faultered. A brown bear. One very similar to Nish, who he had left alone in Shin's room... Similar to Nish, but very brown instead.
"I thought your other bear could use a friend at night, because you won't be needing that panda anymore."
Golden eyes shot open. He hadn't...remembered falling asleep. He had figured that was the last thing that would've happened. He had been readying himself for a very annoying night, full of bad memories and half regrets.
Sitting up slowly, the boy frowned. He needed to ask Shin how to lock his window. He didn't like how Benji kept getting in so easily. "H-How...long have you been here?" The man grinned maliciously. "Long enough to know say the most interesting things while you sleep." The boy's frown deepened as the man came closer. He wasn't sure if he was all mad, or scared, or a little of both... But as Benji took a seat at the end of his bed, Haro couldn't help but inch away, golden eyes wide in near disbelief.
"I'm sure you're wondering why...why what happened last night happened," he murmured, glancing at the clearly frightened teen before giving him a seemingly gentle smile. "I can't explain everything, but mostly it had more to do with the fact that we're of the same species, rather than you holding any sort of hidden affections for me...or that whatever you feel for that cat is less than you thought." Orange eyes watched the boy's head fall. What a pathetic little thing.
He supposed he just felt bad, maybe that's why he was trying to apologize- or whatever the hell you called what he was doing.
Haro smiled a bit as he looked up. "Mm, you're going to leave now?" He'd said it with such hope in his eyes that it almost make Benji march straight back home and tell Wei that it was over and that he was stupid for even messing in his affairs.
But with that hope brought a light in those golden eyes that the older male hadn't seen before...and to tear himself away from that light would be a hard thing to do.
"You're not too bright, are you?"

((Taking a *small* break from sewing... @.@;;; ))
Shin rested in bed, staring up at the ceiling with his bright, but slightly clouded, eyes unfocused. He couldn't sleep - his heart was beating much too quickly for sleep. But he couldn't do anything else, either....
Doing things at night was risky. The bandages on his feet and hands were enough to remind him of that. So he merely lay there, waiting for sleep to claim his restless body. It was late, he knew. Eleven? Twelve? It might even be two.... He had unplugged the clock in his room, so he had no way of knowing just how long he lay there sleeplessly before he finally, out of sheer exhaustion.

[[I'm taking a break from...doing...nothing. D:]]
Haro looked confused for a fleeting moment, golden eyes widening slightly as the older bird leaned forward with such careful precision, the boy thought he may have rehearsed the whole thing. "I don't want to kiss you, I just- I just want you to go and-" Instead of a kiss, like he was expecting, the orange-eyed male dug his nails into the pale, creamy pink flesh of Haro's wrists. The boy made a hurt noise, struggling to loosen the other's grasp and was about to start yelling when Benji continued,
"Scream and I'll hurt him."
The boy's yanks and quivers died down instantly as he stared, scared, into the other's eyes. "Wh-what...do you want me to do?" He asked softly, golden eyes set towards the ground.
"Get out of this bed, get dressed in something decent and come with me." It sounded more like an order than a request. Haro bit at his lower lip, trying not to cry. He didn't want go. He didn't want to leave...but...But if Shin would get hurt if he didn't go...
Silently, the boy slid from the bed, feeling numb as he slid on some jeans, his shoes, and a sweater before eyeing the bedroom door. "Can I say...Can I say goodbye to him? I promise I won't wake him up or anything, I just want to say goodbye," he murmured, not quite looking at Benji, only enough to tell if he was nodding or not. The older male shrugged before nodding slowly.
Without another glance at the other, Haro was quietly running down the hall, stopping short outside of Shin's room. Slipping inside, Haro held back his tears. He could wake him up... He could wake him up so easily- Swallowing, the boy tiptoed forward, staring at the sleeping tiger with a delicate frown. He didn't want to go. He didn't want to leave Shin.
Taking a deep breath, the boy took a few quick steps forward, tugging at the tiger's shirt urgently. "Shiiin," he whispered into one of the teen's ears as he continued to shake his pj shirt. "Wake up, please."

Shin had always, rather fortunately, been a light sleeper. Perhaps it was because of his many years of ill-disguised and much practiced paranoia that led even his sleep to be close to waking. It therefor took him a very small time to wake up after having been asleep such a short time. His pale eyes opened slowly, blinking through sleep-grit, and eventually focused on the boy crouched over him.
"Haro, what...?" He then became fully aware of the other's expression and the hint of tears. He sat up quickly. "What's wrong?" he asked quickly, his voice naturally quiet.
